The wacky camera options, optional breakout rooms with timers to increase productivity and of course the automated transcripts during recorded calls makes this one of the most well rounded team apps available; when your recordings don't get corrupted and you lose everything from a meeting. Sometimes the recordings don't render which means the meeting & transcript is lost and I can never figure out why it didn't save. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At my company, we really like Around and we use it exclusively for internal meeting.
It has the basic features you want for that type of tool (sharing, raising hands, etc.) but has many other great features for remote teams:
- easy to record calls and share it. Perfect when people cannot attend the meeting
- but most importantly, it's easy to "react" without speaking in a meeting in around thanks to gif & emojis. It can sound not that important but for remote teams, it's great as it gives a little bit of fun to the meetings!
Then you also have games that are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The RBAC system on recordings could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Around makes it easy for our remote team to connect face-to-face (albeit virtually). The interface is intuitive, and I especially appreciate floating mode that allows you to still have access to your background windows while keeping everyone visible. This particular feature is one that seems unique to Around. Screen sharing is also easy along with sharing links meaning meetings can be all the more productive. This is likely an issue with my computer, but there are times where the program seems glitchy where video and/or audio does not work. I've experienced this issue multiple times even after shutting down the app and re-opening it as well as restarting my computer. Another annoying aspect is if you accidentally change your filter, you have to click through every single filter over your photo before returning to the the normal non-filter option. We use Around for our weekly gaming sessions in our all-remote team. We like how Around is tailored for this kind of activity. There are three things we like in Around. - 1. The ambiance Around creates through the canvas where all users appear in a circle, there is configurable background music playing and visualizations 2. Codenames is our favorite game and it's available right within Around and 3. The camera has AI-based staging and keeps each participant in focus and the filters it applies creates a different environment when compared to other work-related VC apps such as Zoom and Google Meet. Limited options for games. Other than Codenames there aren't too many popular games to play within Around. We would like to see more games here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Around Video Conferencing Application is the best among other products in the market. It has amazing features like Campfire Mode, Floating Mode and many more. It makes us feel like reality in the virtual space. Its UI design is the best, which makes it easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being amazing in the field of unique features, we have faced some lagging issues while using different virtual environments. Even while talking to our colleagues, we have faced network issues in the application even having a good internet connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Around is visually and aesthetically very appealing. The campfire mode, the backgrounds, the music themes, and even the reactions/ emojis are all great. We use it for our fun catchup sessions once a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is really buggy sometimes. It feels like it's unable to take the user load whenever more than 10 people log in into our workspace simultaneously. The camera controls are kind of iffy too; I can't see other users a lot of times when they are not talking but have their cameras on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Around is the very best video app I've ever experienced. Unlike Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or any of the other antiquated platforms, Around is simple to use, delightful to experience, and scales beautifully as our company—or even the size of the meeting rooms—grows. A few points I love about Around:
· Around feels really fresh. Their user experience is clean, efficient, streamlined, and modern, without sacrificing creativity or professionalism.
· Around actually listens to their customers. Unlike *every other platform I've used* the Around team actually cares and listens to their customer. As a business user, this level of attention to detail is essential. We know that if an issue arises, their team will be right on things.
· Around just works. Really, really well. Before writing this review I just got off a Zoom call (not my choice to use Zoom) with choppy audio and pixelated video. I have never experienced quality drops in Around, even when multiple are in the same room, on the same call.
You know how you get "Zoom fatigue?" I haven't gotten that with Around. I actually encourage meetings because we love using Around; their app allows our team to collaborate and leave each meeting feeling refreshed, not burnt out.
My bottom line: if you care about your happiness and productivity, you'll use Around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The issue I have with Around isn't even with Around, it's with the market. Since Around is so new, market penetration is still on the smaller side—many outside meetings are taken via other platforms because Around hasn't penetrated the market as deeply as say, Zoom. They're still new, Zoom is old, it makes sense.
I'm actively trying to fix this problem by scheduling meetings with Around first, and converting my attendees over to their platform. I recommend you do the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the possibility to see everyone when I'm presenting my screen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the app is a little heavy on the computer and the browser version is not that good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

During lockdown almost all of us used a certain big name in the video conferencing world but wow Around is in another league. After our work calls our done with our staff working from home the games can begin. We love that around is both work and play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really loving the Around experience so far nothing to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
