## Amazon Chime Reviews
 ### 1. Frictionless Meeting Links and Smooth Calendar Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya K. | Intern at a software company, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

Honestly, the meeting links are what sold me. Guests aren’t forced to download anything, there’s no “which version are you on?” back-and-forth, you just click and you’re in. For internal calls, our team has completely stopped dreading the whole setup process. The calendar integration also quietly does its job without needing babysitting, which might sound small, but it removes real friction throughout a busy week.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The mobile app is the weak spot, it lags behind the desktop experience in a pretty noticeable way. Notifications have also been hit or miss for us, sometimes a message just doesn't ping at all. And compared to Teams or Zoom, the feature set feels a bit thin if you need anything beyond basic calls and chat.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping remote meetings from turning into a scheduling nightmare, mostly. Before this, coordinating calls across different time zones with people on different devices was a headache. Chime simplified that, one link, works for everyone. It's not glamorous but it removed a genuine daily annoyance and let the team focus on the actual work instead of the logistics around it.

 ### 2. Reliable Communication with Room for Improvement

Amazon Chime works well for basic communication and meetings, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The interface can feel a bit outdated compared to other platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and some features are less intuitive for new users. The mobile app experience could also be smoother and more responsive. In addition, the overall collaboration features and third-party integrations are more limited compared to competing platforms.

 ### 4. How Amazon Chime Supports Seamless Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kaushal p. | Network Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

What I like best about Amazon Chime is its reliability and ease of use for both end users and administrator. The platform provides a smooth meeting experience with stable audio/video quality, fast meeting access and dependable screen sharing without requiring complicated setup steps. The interfaces is clean and lightweight, which made adoption easier across teams with different skill levels.

As a daily user, I found the collaboration experience efficient because meetings start quickly, chat and file sharing features are easy to access, and the application performs well even on average internet connections. The mobile and desktop synchronization is also consistent allowing users to switch devices without interruptions.

From an administrative perspective, Amazon Chime stands out because of its centralized management and integration with AWS services. User onboarding, permission management, and monitoring are straightforward, which reduces operational overhead for IT teams. The platform also scales well for growing organizations and supports secure communications without adding without adding unnecessary complexity.

For an organization already running heavily on AWS, Chime integrates smoothly into our existing IAM permissions and security guardrails. The core stability is another major plus; because it runs natively on the AWS backbone, we experience significantly fewer jitter issue or dropped calls, even when our team members are working on lower-bandwidth home networks. Our users frequently point out how much they like the background noise cancellation, which handles ambient office sounds noticeably better than some of the flashier alternatives.

Another major advantage is that Amazon Chime focuses on performance and functionality instead of excessive features that often slow down other collaboration platform. It delivers the core communication tools teams actually use on a daily basis while maintaining good stability and security standards.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

One thing i dislike about Amazon Chime is that the interface can feel a bit minimal compared to some other collaboration platforms, especially for users who are looking for more advanced meeting customization or integrated productivity features. While the simplicity is helpful for everyday communication, there can be a slight learning curve when navigating certain administrative settings or configuring advanced options for larger teams.

From an administration perspective, reporiting and analytics are functional but could offer deeper insights and more flexible customization for enterprise level monitoring. Some integrations outside the AWS ecosystem may also require extra configuration effort depending on the organization's setup.

That said, none of these issues were major blockers in daily use. Amazon Chime still performs reliably for communication and collaboration, and many of the limitations are relatively minor compared to its overall stability, security and ease of management.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves several communications and collaboration problems that many teams and students face in online environments. Before platforms like Amazon Chime, virtual meetings often suffered from poor audio quality, connection issuses, complicated setup processe, and difficulty in sharing information quckily. Amazon Chime brings messaging, video conferencing, screen sharing, and voice calls together in one platform, making communication smoother and more organized.

One major things it solves that the features of such as real-time meetings, chat, and file sharing, users can work together from different locations without delays or confusion. It also reduces time wasted switching between multiple applications because everything is available in a single system.

Another issue Amazon Chime addresses is meeting reliability. The platform is designed to provide clear audio and video quality, whihc help users communicate more efficiently and avoid misunderstandings during discussions or presentations. Its simple interface also makes it easy for new users to join meetings without technical difficulties.

The benefits I experience from Amazon Chime include improved productivity and better communication. It allows me to attend meetings, share ideas, and collaborate with others from anywhere, which saves both time and effort. I also benfit from its ease of use because I can quickly join discussions and focus more on the work itself instead of dealing with technical problems. Overall, Amazon Chime helps create a more conne ted, efficient, and flexible working or learining environment.

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

Amazon Chime solves the problem of quick, secure, and dependable client communication. It provides a straightforward way to host video meetings, calls, and presentations without requiring extensive setup or technical support. This benefits me by allowing client conversations to stay focused on strategy and results rather than technology issues. The reliability of the platform helps ensure meetings start on time, presentations run smoothly, and follow‑ups happen efficiently, which is especially valuable when managing multiple advertiser relationships and tight sales timelines.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

What I dislike about Amazon Chime is that it feels more limited compared to other video conferencing platforms. Some features—like screen sharing controls, in-meeting collaboration tools, and chat functionality—aren’t as intuitive or robust, which can slow down client presentations. Additionally, many external clients are less familiar with Chime, which can create friction when joining meetings and occasionally requires extra guidance. More customization and smoother client-facing usability would improve the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

nothing to add this time from my side everything seems fine

 ### 7. Convenient but Lacks Competitor Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahan R. | AI Agents Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I really like how Amazon Chime makes it easy to join meetings with just one click, without the need for a PIN or complex setup. It lets attendees join easily without needing an account, which is a big time-saver. The mobile-friendly aspect is also great, as it works smoothly both on phones and desktops. The ability to screen share is another feature I appreciate, as it allows for real-time collaboration. I can walk people through documents, spreadsheets, or presentations live, which helps reduce misunderstandings. This is especially useful for training new employees or when instant feedback is needed, all without requiring extra tools.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The common complaints and the areas to be improved are the limited features when compared with Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Amazon Chime feels a little less feature-rich and is missing things like breakout rooms, polls, and advanced meeting controls. There are also very few collaboration tools built-in. Additionally, the chat functionality feels basic and underdeveloped, lacking thread reactions and rich formatting tools like Slack offers, making it not great for day-to-day communication. Performance issues are another concern as the app can feel slower, with occasional crashes. It also feels limited in third-party integrations, not integrating smoothly with non-AWS tools, and has limited plugins compared to Teams. The background noise cancellation is not as strong as competitors like Zoom or Teams, as background noise can bleed into calls. Lastly, the interface feels a bit dated compared to newer tools and the customization options available from other services.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves communication overload by combining chat, video, and meetings in one place. It enables real-time collaboration regardless of location, offers reliable audio/video without disruptions, and replaces costly phone systems with affordable internet calling. One-click meeting join saves time, and it's mobile-friendly.

 ### 8. Seamless Interview Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Albert (Aamir) P. | Senior US IT Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like how with Amazon Chime, candidates don't need to sign in or create an account to join meetings, making the process straightforward and reducing pre-interview anxiety. The clean interface is a big plus, with essential actions like mute, screen sharing, and switching devices being easy to manage. I also appreciate that I can schedule interviews directly from calendar tools like Outlook or Google Calendar, and the auto-call feature makes participation easier. Setting up Amazon Chime was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Sometimes the interface is hard for new users. It feels less intuitive compared to something like Zoom. As an interviewer, I have to guide candidates to navigate through features. For technical interviews, I need to rely on external tools for whiteboarding. Amazon Chime's whiteboarding tool is very basic and not as advanced as Zoom. The screen share option is very small and not labeled properly, making it difficult for new users to find.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to schedule interviews directly from calendar tools like Outlook or Google Calendar. It provides video, audio, chat, and screen sharing in one place, and the auto call feature ensures easy participation. Candidates don't need to sign in, avoiding delays and anxiety.

 ### 9. Perfect Integration, Interface to Improve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian N. | Responsabile ICT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like that Amazon Chime is very straightforward and doesn't have unnecessary features; I can enter, make the call, and conclude. The audio and video quality is quite stable, even when the internet connection isn't perfect. Also, screen sharing is fast and has never given me major problems. Furthermore, the fact that I can join meetings without complicated steps is a big advantage. It is particularly convenient when working in AWS environments because it integrates very well, and I find Amazon Chime better compared to other similar platforms like Zoom and Teams.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

In my opinion, the interface is a bit outdated compared to other tools and is not the best in terms of user experience. Additionally, it is not as widely used as Zoom or Teams. Regarding the graphics, the GUI is not the best. Notifications and the meeting layout could also be better customized, for example by moving elements to perhaps have a view of more users on the screen. For a basic user, finding all the settings at the beginning might be a bit challenging, but nothing major.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime saves me from using a thousand different tools for calls and screen sharing, integrating well with AWS environments. It is straightforward, without unnecessary features, and the audio-video quality is stable. Screen sharing is fast and I can join meetings without complicated steps.

 ### 10. Basic Communication Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md Mudassir A. | Product Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

What I like most about Amazon Chime is its pay-as-you-use pricing. It’s a great fit for my startup because our meeting frequency can change a lot from week to week. As a founder overseeing product development for an AI platform, I rely on Chime for quick team syncs and client calls, and I appreciate not being locked into a fixed monthly plan.

It also integrates smoothly with our AWS-based stack. Since we already use AWS services for our backend, Chime feels like a natural part of our workflow. Communication stays lightweight, and it doesn’t get in the way of the tools we use day to day, like Google Docs and the AWS Console.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The lack of threads makes the chat rooms messy. Messages and their replies should be clearer to see who replied to which message. There's no ability to edit a message. Also, you can't organize rooms in folders or sections, and there's poor extensibility.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Morphia, our team communication needs are sporadic but time-sensitive. Chime's auto-call feature ensures we get on calls quickly without scheduling friction, which is critical when coordinating product updates or resolving urgent backend issues. The pay-as-you-use model suits our early-stage startup budget well. Its direct AWS integration means we can jump from reviewing infrastructure to a team call without switching ecosystems.

 ### 11. Decent all-round communication tool, but with limitations & an upcoming end-of-life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvan G. | Senior Executive Operations - KYC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

The audio quality is solid, especially for smaller meetings. The Voice Focus feature does a good job of cutting down background noise (fans, barking dogs, etc.), which makes remote meetings feel more professional and far less distracting.

It’s also convenient having one app that covers meetings, chat rooms, file sharing, and screen sharing across devices (desktop and mobile). Moving between these modes is generally smooth and doesn’t get in the way.

Scheduling is straightforward, and the calendar/email integrations help prevent double-bookings. Being able to join through “Chime In” links, or use the “call me” option, reduces friction and makes it easier for people to get into meetings quickly.

On the security side, it’s strong: end-to-end encryption for voice, video, and content, AWS infrastructure, admin controls, and domain/SSO options. Overall, it’s a good fit for organizations that prioritize secure communication.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The UX isn’t as polished as some competitors. New users—especially external or international participants—often need help understanding how to join a meeting and configure audio/video settings. In more complex scenarios, there are occasional issues like screen-share lag or reduced video clarity.

Some features also feel fairly basic in the web version compared with the desktop or mobile apps. The interface could be more modern overall, and a few options are confusing or not very intuitive.

The looming end-of-support (Feb 20, 2026) is a major concern. For new users, or anyone planning to rely on this long-term, the sunset means you’ll need to plan a migration to another tool.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have to jump between multiple apps—I can go from chat to a voice call or screen share within the same workflow, which saves time.

Meetings also start on time more often because it’s easier to join in different ways (PC, phone, etc.), without extra steps or confusion.

It’s more adaptable, too: in low-bandwidth situations I can switch to audio-only or stick to chat, and still keep the conversation continuous.

 ### 12. Secure, Easy-to-Use Video Conferencing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gladys A. | Database Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I like Amazon Chime because it helps me get my team all in one place for meetings. The exceptional security built into AWS is something I really appreciate, especially since my team includes many people with various personal information. This security feature helps prevent identity theft of team members, which is crucial for us. Additionally, the initial setup of Amazon Chime was extremely easy.

 ### 13. Unified Communication with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rohit n. | Network Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like that Amazon Chime is used as an all-in-one communication tool for business. It combines video conferencing, voice call, messaging, and screen sharing into a single platform, making it useful for remote collaboration and internal communication. It solves the problem of fragmented communication in teams by bringing meetings, calls, and messaging into one place. I appreciate having everything in one place, which isn't just a convenience but actually changes how you work day to day. It's easy to join and use, as joining meetings is very straightforward, often just a single click or link. The value comes from reducing fiction and keeping context intact, which leads to less cognitive load as I can focus on the work itself. The simplicity adds up over time, especially in fast-moving teams where constant communication is the norm. It helps in staying organized without extra effort because conversations, calls, and files are grouped, so there's no need for separate systems to track everything. The initial setup was extremely nice.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The biggest limitation is that it covers the essentials but not much beyond that. It lacks more advanced collaboration features like polls, breakout rooms, or rich meeting control that many competing tools offer. Amazon Chime works well for simple internal communication but struggles when you need advanced features, broader integrations, or long-term reliability.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves fragmented communication by uniting meetings, calls, and messaging in one platform. Its all-in-one convenience reduces cognitive load, keeps context intact, and helps move from decisions to meetings seamlessly, especially improving communication in fast-moving teams.

 ### 14. Reliable All-in-One Messaging, Calls, and Meetings with Amazon Chime

 ### 15. Amazon Chime: Seamless Meetings, Reliable Quality, and Cost-Effective Pay-as-You-Go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neisha D. | N/A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

What I like best about Amazon Chime is how seamlessly it brings meetings, chat, and calls together in a single application without requiring participants outside the organization to download heavy software — just an Amazon account is sufficient and there's no loss of features. The audio and video quality is clear and reliable, the ability to join meetings with a single click removes friction, and the pay-as-you-go pricing model means you only pay for what you actually use, making it a cost-effective choice compared to flat-rate alternatives. Built on AWS infrastructure, it also delivers enterprise-grade security with AES 256-bit encryption across messages, voice, video, and content, which is a major advantage for organizations that handle sensitive communications.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I love everything about it. It is so helpful.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves the problem of fragmented business communication by consolidating meetings, video conferencing, chat, and file sharing into a single application, eliminating the need to switch between multiple tools throughout the workday. It also removes the friction of connecting with people outside the organization — external participants can join meetings without downloading additional software, which saves time and reduces the back-and-forth that typically slows down collaboration. The pay-as-you-go pricing model addresses the cost inefficiency of flat-rate communication tools by ensuring we only pay for what we actually use. For us, the biggest benefit has been simpler, more reliable day-to-day communication — internal team meetings, client calls, and file sharing all happen in one place, backed by AWS-grade security, which means less time managing tools and more time getting work done.

The feature people keep raving about is the *“Call Me” reliability*—when a meeting starts, Chime actually calls your phone/desktop and you just tap “Answer” to join. No hunting for links or PINs, which users say wipes out the usual “where’s the link?” panic. f3a8

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

.lA few things users regularly wish Chime would tighten up:

- *Pricing clarity & free tier* – right now there’s no free plan and the pay-as-you-go model with extra fees isn’t obvious at sign-up. People want a simple free or low-cost entry tier and clearer costs.
- *Video quality & gallery view* – reviews call out murky video and the lack of a proper gallery/layout view. Better HD handling and more screen-layout options would help.
- *Device switching & call transfers* – moving a call between phone, web, and desktop or transferring to a colleague still feels clunky. Smoother handoffs would close a big usability gap.
- *Overall UX polish* – occasional desktop-app glitches and mediocre audio/video mean Amazon needs continued work on stability and interface refinement. f3a8a3f8

Additionally, it's well integrated with the AWS ecosystem, which I find convenient.

I love that Amazon Chime provides a seamless platform for connecting with my customer base and offering them solutions. The screen sharing and remote access features are fantastic, making it easy to transfer knowledge and provide support. Lastly, the setup is very easy, with straightforward steps on the site.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I would say there's some feature upgrade that can be done, like in Amazon Chime there is no live transcription feature which is available in Zoom or Google Meet. Also, they have integrated AI in it, but it can be improved a bit more. Rest is great.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to seamlessly connect with customers, provide support, and handle customer queries. It offers screen sharing, remote access, and enjoyable background music during hold, making communication efficient and pleasing.

 ### 24. Seamless Meetings with Superior Quality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sneh M. | Senior Customer Success Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I mainly use Amazon Chime for virtual meetings and quick team discussions. It helps solve the challenge of being connected seamlessly with cohorts and team members. I find Amazon Chime to be simple and reliable. It doesn't take much time to figure things out. The audio and video quality surpasses Google Meet or Zoom and works better than Slack Huddle. It feels more natural, and there are fewer interruptions or misunderstandings compared to Zoom or Google Meet. The tech is simple and takes less time for employees to be trained. The initial setup was seamless and just took a week.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The interface is really basic and hardly there's a new update for its UI; it feels a bit minimal compared to other conferencing tools, like the layout options are limited, and it should have more flexibility and different arrangements.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime connects me seamlessly with team members, providing better audio and video quality than other tools, and it's easy for employees to learn.

 ### 25. Outdated and Unsupported: Lacks Integrations, Modern UI, and AI Features

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

It's a competent tool that does exactly what it sets out to do; connect people across orgs that use it. It has a chat feature, can do calls, can handle screen sharing, send videos/attachments... basically its like skype (with a very similar UI) but without the 2020's-level refinements we expect.

There are no meaningful integration options like what slack or even discord has; you can't set up autonomous bot agents and I'm not aware of many plugins. Performance is excellent, it isn't a laggy tool and I've never run into issues with descyncs or having to call again. But again that's the bare minimum.

Pricing is definitely below enterprise slack levels by about half, and likewise cheaper than an org-wide teams. Onboarding support is very minimal but realistically you don't need it. And AI-integration is nonexistent...its clear Amazon is not supporting the tool well given Slack has eaten their lunch. Don't expect any AI-based support.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

It simply isn't a useful tool in 2026. It lacks critical things like 3rd party integrations, a modern UI with the ability to make groups and subgroups, ai-based features, plugins, and you can't send text snippets like you can in slack; it also lacks preview features.

I wouldn't even use it over teams, and I'm not fond of teams. But given that Amazon has DROPPED SUPPORT for the tool, you literally have no reason to be using it anymore.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fundamentally we're using it to communicate without our organization. It was a potential candidate alongside teams, slack, discord (yes seriously), and a few others. But it just didn't have the capabilities we needed.

 ### 26. Effortless Meetings with Smart Features and Crystal Clear Audio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ketan S. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

1. The "Call Me" Reliability
Unlike other platforms where you have to hunt for a link in your calendar or wait for a meeting ID, Chime literally calls you on all your devices when a meeting starts.
Why it's great: You just tap "Answer" on your phone or desktop, and you’re in. It eliminates that 2-minute "Where is the link?" panic at the start of every call.

2. The "Running Late" Button
This is a small but incredibly thoughtful feature. If you’re stuck in another meeting or grabing coffee, you can tap "Running Late" from the notification.

Why it's great: It automatically posts a message to the meeting roster letting everyone know you'll be there in a few minutes. It’s much more professional than just being a "no-show" for the first five minutes.

3. "Pay-as-you-go" Pricing (From an Admin/Budget Perspective)
Even though I use it as an end-user, I appreciate that my company isn't paying for a flat "Pro" license for everyone every month.

Why it's great: If I don't host a meeting for a week, the company isn't billed for a Pro license for me that week. It makes the tool feel less wasteful than competitors.

4. Crystal Clear Audio (Noise Suppression)
The background noise cancellation is surprisingly robust. I’ve taken calls in busy coffee shops or with a dog barking in the background, and the "Visual Roster" usually detects and mutes the background noise or filters it out before others hear it.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Outdated UI: The interface feels utilitarian and lacks the modern, polished look of its competitors.

Chat Limitations: In-meeting chat history can be difficult to retrieve or disappears once the meeting ends.

Basic Feature Set: It lacks "engagement" tools like native polls, advanced breakout rooms, and high-quality virtual backgrounds.

Ecosystem Lock-in: It works best within AWS; syncing with non-Amazon tools or calendars can occasionally be clunky.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased Punctuality: Since the app calls your phone and laptop simultaneously, it’s much harder to "miss" the start of a meeting, making your team more efficient.

Significant Cost Savings: Because of the pay-as-you-go model, you (or your company) only pay for Pro features on the days you actually host meetings, which is much better for the budget than fixed monthly seats.

Seamless Mobility: You can answer a meeting on your phone while walking to your desk and instantly switch the audio/video to your desktop without having to hang up and rejoin.

AWS Security & Reliability: Being built on AWS means you get enterprise-grade encryption and a very stable connection that rarely "drops," even if your internet is slightly unstable.

 ### 27. Effortless Sign-In and Stellar UI Design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Basith A. | ML Data Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I use Amazon Chime for calls, text messages, and video conferencing, mainly for team office purposes. I appreciate its fastest sign-in and call connections, which are better compared to others. I like that it's simple and minimal, making it easy to use. The UI is handled beautifully, which makes it my number one choice to recommend to colleagues. The initial setup was too easy; we can log in with our personal mail or as a guest.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

When the system is locked, it sometimes takes more time to give a ring or notification.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for fastest sign-in and call connections, and it's uncomplicated and minimal, making it easy to use.

It helps in connecting with seniors, knowing our hierarchy, and maintaining discipline among employees. I like that it always connects with people and is always ready for connecting globally with employees. The initial setup was very easy, with very few steps required to reach the main page, and I found it convenient to merge with my official email ID.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Sometimes it takes a lot of time to upload and download heavy files.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for day-to-day communication and maintaining data privacy. It helps connect with seniors, know the hierarchy, and maintain discipline in the organization.

 ### 30. User-Friendly Meetings, Needs Better Video Quality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma P. | Receptionist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like Amazon Chime because it makes online meetings easy and professional, allowing me to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers. I appreciate how easy it is to use and understand. I find it very helpful that it automatically adds meetings to my calendar, which makes it easy to remember all my meetings. The initial setup was very fun and simple.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The video quality is sometimes blurry and laggy. Maybe making it work with lower wifi connection.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for online meetings. It makes speaking to clients and co-workers easy and professional, automatically adds meetings to my calendar for easy remembrance, and is simple to use and understand.

 ### 31. Streamlined Communication, But Lacking Advanced Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atharv P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like how Amazon Chime made joining and running meetings simple and seamless. It's great that users could join meetings with a single click or be called directly, avoiding long dial-in codes. Having chat, voice calls, video meetings, and screen sharing all in one app really reduced the need to juggle multiple tools. The high-quality audio and video, as well as the clear visual attendee list showing who was present or speaking, were really helpful. I also appreciated the seamless switching between devices and the flexible pay-as-you-use pricing, which made it feel efficient, organized, and practical for teams, especially remote or distributed ones.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Amazon Chime’s main drawbacks include a relatively basic and somewhat outdated interface compared to competitors like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, fewer advanced collaboration features such as breakout rooms, virtual backgrounds, or built-in transcripts, occasional audio or video performance issues on weaker connections, limited chat and teamwork capabilities, and a smaller user ecosystem that can make external collaboration awkward—on top of that, the announced end of support in February 2026 makes it a weak long-term option for organizations planning ahead.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solved remote team communication issues, made meetings seamless with one-click access, combined chat, calls, and screen sharing in one app, and was appreciated for its high-quality audio and video, clear attendee list, and flexible pricing.

 ### 32. Seamless Communication, Effortless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer C. | Client Care Ambassador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I love how Amazon Chime makes it easier to contact coworkers and send documents quickly and reliably. The video conferencing feature is essential for me, as it's part of my daily routine, enabling me to have meetings with people worldwide, including sharing documents smoothly. The overall experience has been great, and I'll definitely rate it a 10 out of 10. The setup was really easy and fast too.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I think that being able to contact not just coworkers but people from other works, maybe like vendors who don't use Amazon Chime, but work with other communicating tools like Asana, Skype, or Slack, would be really, really helpful.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to contact coworkers quickly, have smooth international meetings, share documents easily, and avoid internet issues.

 ### 33. Simple and Reliable for Everyday Meetings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayesh P. | Senior Ecommerce Executive , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I use Amazon Chime mainly for team meetings, client calls, and quick internal discussions. It helps us stay connected while working remotely, and the audio/video quality is generally reliable, so meetings run without much interruption. I appreciate how lightweight and stable the platform feels compared to some other meeting tools. It runs well even on average internet connections, which is helpful for avoiding disruptions. The in-meeting chat is also useful for sharing quick updates or links without interrupting the speaker, and overall the experience is smooth enough for daily use. What I like most about Amazon Chime is its simplicity and reliability. Joining meetings is quick, and the audio/video quality is consistently clear, which is important for productive discussions. The screen sharing feature works smoothly, making it easier to explain ideas or review documents with the team. I also like that it doesn’t feel overly complicated, so even new users can start using it without much learning.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

One area that could be improved is the interface, as it feels a bit dated compared to other collaboration tools. Sometimes the feature set also feels limited, especially when it comes to advanced options like breakout rooms or deeper meeting controls. The mobile experience could be smoother as well, since notifications and call stability are not always consistent. Adding more modern collaboration features would make the overall experience even better.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to solve communication gaps while working remotely. It makes scheduling, joining meetings, and screen sharing straightforward, reducing delays and improving decision-making.

 ### 34. Efficient Meetings but Needs More Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonal S. | Self Employed, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I really like that Amazon Chime calls me so I'm never late to attend a meeting. It eliminates the hassle of being late just to find the link to join the meeting. The pay-as-you-go pricing is great too since if I don’t host a meeting, I don’t pay for that particular week; I'm charged only when I host a meeting. I appreciate the mute function and the visual roster, which shows who's late. It usually notifies others in the meeting if I'm running late rather than marking me as a no-show. Plus, it has a seamless transition from cell to desktop. Lastly, the initial setup is easy and manageable.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

It is shutting down by February end, also there is no inbuilt whiteboard for the meeting, nor can you break rooms into smaller groups.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime calls me so I'm never late to meetings and eliminates the hassle of finding links. I like the pay-as-you-go pricing. The mute function, visual roster showing lateness, and seamless transition from cell to desktop are also helpful.

 ### 35. Efficient Device Handoff, Needs Better Collaboration Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like the high-quality video meeting experience with Amazon Chime. The frictionless device handoff is great; I can join a call on my phone while walking from my car to my office and then switch to my desktop with a single click without having to hang up and rejoin, making the transition seamless. It also calls my devices directly when a meeting starts, which means I don't have to hunt for links or meeting IDs and ensures I'm never late simply because I couldn't find the 'entrance' to the call. The calendar integration with Outlook and Google is convenient. The basics are simple; if it's just for meetings and chat, the setup is as easy as downloading the app and signing in with an email. There's no complex configuration needed, and I can even join via a web browser without installing anything if I'm in a rush.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I don't like the missing 'collaboration' bells and whistles. Chime is great for calling and video, but it lacks some creative tools for remote collaboration. There are no breakout rooms, which makes it hard to split large meetings into smaller brainstorming groups. The limited whiteboarding tools aren't great for visual drawing or sticky-note sessions during calls. Plus, it lacks the sophisticated AI-driven virtual background options you find on other platforms.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves high-latency and poor audio/video issues, providing high-quality video meetings. The frictionless device handoff eliminates rejoining calls and the need for links, ensuring smooth transitions.

 ### 36. A Comprehensive Solution for Business Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahmud S. | Supply Chain Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like that Amazon Chime offers simple all-in-one communications by combining video conferencing, real-time chat, screen sharing, and file sharing in one unified app, eliminating the need for separate tools. Its seamless integration with AWS is great if your organization uses AWS, as Chime fits smoothly with existing infrastructure including identity management, security controls, and billing. I appreciate the pay-for-what-you-use pricing model, which can lead to cost savings for some businesses. The reliable audio and video quality is excellent because it's built on Amazon’s global cloud infrastructure, delivering stable connectivity and performance for distributed teams. Strong security and control are important too, as Chime benefits from AWS's robust security defaults and compliance options suitable for regulated industries. I also value the built-in meeting controls and moderation features, like muting participants or managing permissions, which are helpful during large calls or events. The cross-platform support is a big plus, as Chime works on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and web browsers, allowing participants to join meetings from nearly any device. Additionally, the high-quality screen and content sharing are reliable and smooth, even with multiple participants sharing slides, videos, or applications.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

1. Feature set isn't as full-featured as some competitors. Compared with tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, Chime is sometimes perceived as having fewer advanced meeting features (e.g., virtual backgrounds, breakout rooms with rich control, advanced polling tools). Users transitioning from other platforms occasionally notice these gaps. 2. User interface can feel less intuitive. Some people say that Chime’s interface feels less modern or less intuitive, especially for users who are already familiar with Zoom or Teams. This can slow adoption in teams. 3. Limited chat collaboration features. Although Chime supports chat, it isn’t always seen as a full team collaboration hub like Slack or Teams: fewer persistent channels, fewer rich integrations. For teams looking for a single hub for chat + apps + workflows, this can be a downside.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime fixes communication headaches by combining meetings, chat, voice, and screen sharing in one app. It optimizes connections with HD video and clear audio, ensures security with end-to-end encryption, and integrates seamlessly with AWS for cost-effective, reliable business communication.

 ### 37. Seamless Connectivity with Simple UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Krishna P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like Amazon Chime's simple UI, which makes it easy to understand even for beginners. I appreciate that guests can join without needing to download anything. The file transfer feature is helpful, and the call connectivity is good compared to others like Microsoft Teams. Even when working in remote locations with low data speed, I can connect smoothly with my team without lag, even for screen sharing. The initial setup is also easy, making it accessible for new users.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

File transfer does not exceed 50 MB, which needs improvement. We can't edit messages once sent, unlike many other apps that provide this feature for corrections.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for smooth screen sharing and team calls without interruptions, even with over 10 participants. It works well in low data environments and has a simple UI that's easy to set up for beginners, with no downloads needed for guests.

 ### 38. Efficient, Cost-Effective with Seamless AWS Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** adrienjoh n.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like the 'Running Late' button in Amazon Chime that lets me inform everyone if I'm delayed, preventing silent no-shows. The Visual Roster feature is handy as it shows who is creating background noise, allowing me to mute them easily. When using other AWS services with Amazon Chime, the integration provides incredibly low latency and sharp screen sharing, which is great for troubleshooting. I appreciate that I own the storage, lifecycle policies, and encryption keys, addressing compliance and security concerns about data. The pricing is also a big plus, as it saves money by only charging for premium features on meeting days, which is cost-effective for occasional hosts. Amazon Chime offers superior low-latency video and audio, which is a boost for collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

There are no native breakout rooms, digital whiteboards, or audience polling features. Chime feels very corporate. It lacks the 'fun' or modern social features like diverse emoji reactions, custom stickers, or 'Huddles' that make Slack feel more like a community.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to manage meeting delays with the 'Running Late' button and reduce noise disruptions with the Visual Roster. Its integration with AWS offers low latency and sharp screen sharing, solving compliance issues by allowing control over data storage and security.

 ### 39. Powerful AWS Integration but Lacks Meeting Interactivity

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nanik C. | Office & Document Manager, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like Amazon Chime because of its seamless native integration with the AWS ecosystem, which is a game-changing feature. It turns Chime into more than just a generic video/chat tool, making it a cloud-native communication hub for AWS-focused teams, DevOps, and businesses running on AWS infrastructure. The integration is built into Chime’s core functionality, solving critical friction between team communication and cloud operations that other UC platforms can't when used with AWS. It aligns communication workflows directly with AWS’s tools, security, and storage, eliminating manual work, silos, and compliance risks for cloud-first teams. I also find the initial setup of Amazon Chime incredibly straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I find Amazon Chime's limited meeting interactivity frustrating. It lacks polling, Q&A modules, and breakout rooms, which are only available for Enterprise plans with 100+ users. This restriction is a huge issue for small/medium AWS teams. The absence of breakout rooms makes Chime impractical for anything beyond syncs and 1:1s. I also miss live reactions like thumbs up or emojis to engage large meetings or webinars.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime eliminates siloed communication tools by unifying everything in one platform and resolves AWS ecosystem communication gaps through native cloud integration, enhancing team collaboration without connectivity issues across time zones.

 ### 40. Easy-to-Use Meetings with Smooth Screen Sharing and Solid AWS Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Feroz M. | Service advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

What I like most about Amazon Chime is how easy it is to use. The interface is clean and simple, so even new users can join meetings without any confusion. Audio and video quality are good, and screen sharing works smoothly. It also integrates well with other AWS services, which is very helpful for teams already using Amazon products.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The main downside is that it has fewer features compared to tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Sometimes it feels a bit basic, especially for large meetings. The mobile app can also be slow at times, and notifications are not always reliable.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime helps in conducting online meetings, team calls, and screen sharing without any complicated setup. It solves the problem of remote communication by providing a stable and secure platform. This saves time, improves collaboration, and makes it easier for teams to work together from different locations.

It is also secure, so there is no fear of data leaks. For video calls with the office and family, I always use Amazon Chime. Its setup and use are also very easy, and I do not face any problems with it.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

There is no problem at all, but the audio quality could be a bit better.

I use Amazon Chime easily for video calls and chat. It has very good video quality, which makes the calls better. Connecting and chatting with multiple people at once is simple. It is secure, so there is no fear of data leaks.

Amazon Chime is very secure, there is no fear of data theft. Setting it up is very easy for me and my team, there is no trouble.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Sometimes the video freezes during the meeting.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for online meetings. It makes video conferencing and chatting easy. The voice quality is very good, which allows work to be done without any issues and saves time. Setting it up is easy and the data is secure.

 ### 43. Simple and reliable tool for quick online meetings

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like that Amazon Chime is very easy to join from a browser without installing any heavy software. I have used it mainly for joining online meetings and interview calls through shared links. The audio quality is clear and the interface is simple, so even first-time users can join easily. Screen sharing feature also works smoothly during meetings.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

The platform is not as popular as other tools, so sometimes I faced difficulty when others were not familiar with it. Also, on mobile network, connection stability can be slightly inconsistent. The UI feels a bit basic compared to other meeting tools.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Amazon Chime for attending online interviews and small meetings. It helped me quickly join calls without needing installation, which saved time and made the process smoother. It is useful when you need a lightweight and fast meeting solution.

 ### 44. Reliable but Outdated Solution for AWS-Heavy Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like Amazon Chime's rock-solid reliability, especially under less-than-ideal conditions. Its speed in getting meetings started and the audio and video quality hold up remarkably well even on spotty connections. I enjoy how the features like smart mute and noise cancellation keep things clear without much fiddling. The persistent chat rooms, seamless escalation, smart presence and availability indicators, and cross-device handoff are also features I genuinely appreciated. Plus, the all-in-one nature of the app, combining chat, calls, and meetings, offers high-quality basics without bloat. The initial setup was very straightforward and quick, especially since we were already in the AWS ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

Chime excelled at being a no-drama, reliable workhorse for internal AWS-heavy use, but it lacked the innovation, polish, and broad appeal to keep pace. The biggest pain point for me was the outdated and somewhat clunky user interface. The interface was definitely one area where Chime showed its age and could have used meaningful refreshes to stay competitive.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime provides reliable, low-friction meetings and quick join/start times, effectively serving as an all-in-one app for chat, calls, and meetings. It's especially useful in an AWS-heavy environment, ensuring stable communication even on variable networks.

 ### 45. Chime deserved to be canceled

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James L. | Manager, Software Development Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

The SDK obviously is pretty useful, since it powers Slack Huddles. But none of the buttons are where you expect them to be, and there is more oh, let me stop and rejoin happens more than with any other voice chat I use.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

None of the buttons are where you expect them to be, and stop and rejoin is a constant occurence. It's a good thing that the only time I ever use it is to talk with Amazon employees, and since they use it all the time, they know where the button I'm looking for is.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me talk with AWS reps, and sometimes that's better than trying to debug over chat.

 ### 46. Chime Easy-to-Use, Feature-Rich Communication Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tadiboyina t.

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I use Amazon Chime for internal meetings, interviewer availability and queries, and communication with stakeholders. It's an easy way to communicate with interviewers and helps with last minute candidate unavailability and interview cancellations. I like that it shows the status of other people so we can communicate easily. It lets me know if the person I'm reaching is out of the office or in another meeting. The initial setup was very easy, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

It should be improved in external meetings like candidates try to join the interviews but sometimes it never allows them due to few technical issues.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime for internal meetings and it helps with interview scheduling issues. It's an easy way to communicate with interviewers, showing people's statuses like if they're out of office, which makes communication smoother.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yukti S. | Sr IT Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I also like that it focuses on getting the basics right without clutter and that it is secure and works well in a professional environment.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

What I dislike about Amazon Chime is that the interface feels a bit basic compared to other tools and some features feel limited. The chat experience is not as intuitive notifications can be easy to miss and it does not have as rich an ecosystem or third party integrations as some competitors.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves the problem of unreliable and complicated communication tools by giving me a single place for meetings, calls and messaging. It makes scheduling and joining meetings easier and cuts down on technical issues during calls. By having clear audio and video and straightforward controls it helps me stay focused and productive and reduces frustration that can come from switching between different apps for collaboration.

 ### 49. Reliable, Easy to Use with Potential for More Modern Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It gives us a reliable way to meet without connection issues, simplifies screen sharing, and reduces the need for multiple communication tools. It also integrates smoothly with AWS tools, feels secure, and makes it easy for both team members and guests to join meetings quickly. Plus, the setup was extremely easy for myself and my team.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

It could use more built in collaboration features and a more modern interface compared to some other meeting tools. It would be better with built in chat channels, more advanced meeting controls, and a refreshed interface that feels more modern and customizable.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amazon Chime to ensure reliable meetings, simplify screen sharing, and reduce the need for multiple communication tools.

 ### 50. Seamless, Secure Communication with Powerful AWS Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ASHUTOSH S. | Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amazon Chime?**

I like Amazon Chime best for its seamless, reliable, and secure unified communication (chat, calls, meetings) with features like easy joining, high-quality audio/video, instant device switching, and strong AWS integration, making it ideal for teams needing a simple yet powerful platform without constant app switching.

**What do you dislike about Amazon Chime?**

I dislike Amazon Chime for its less intuitive interface, limited features compared to competitors (like Slack or Zoom), connectivity issues (lag, dropped calls), poor mobile app experience, clunky messaging (no threads, no message editing), and dependency on AWS for full value, with many noting its struggles with external users and the fact that Amazon itself is moving away from it.

**What problems is Amazon Chime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon Chime solves communication fragmentation by offering a single, secure app for meetings, chat, and calls, preventing app-switching; it enhances productivity with features like noise reduction, easy joining, and visual rosters, ensuring fewer late starts; and for developers, the Chime SDK simplifies adding secure, scalable, HIPAA-compliant audio/video to their apps, benefiting end-users with integrated telehealth or customer service.
