What do you like best about The Trade Desk?

TTD interface for campaign management and audience forecasting has a lot to offer. Importing first party audiences as well as searching through third party audiences is really convenient and intuitive, as is adjusting settings to get forecasts. Campaign management has recently become really quick and convenient as well due to megagon and other new features. Really appreciate the quick responses on TTD staff's part whenever an issue is encourntered. Automating campaigns is easy, and even people who aren't usually hands on keyboard can be taught forecasting and basic management quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Trade Desk?

One of the biggest disadvantages convenience wise, is that the forecasting settings reset anytime the page is closed or refreshed. Makes forecasting take a while. The numbers are often slow to update as well forcing you to refresh and start over. There is no way to import a large amount of DMAs and save them as far as I know. Most of the disadvantages of the platform are convenience based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Trade Desk solving and how is that benefiting you?

TTD helps making Programmatic campaign management easier and faster, so smaller teams can run several campaigns at the same time. It also improves the accuracy of forecasting to get clients on board with targeting tactics, and helps with advanced features such as look-alike builds and optimizations. Product Description

The Trade Desk empowers buyers at the campaign level with the most expressive bid capabilities in market, full-funnel attribution, and detailed reporting that illustrates the consumer journey from initial impression to conversion.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

The Trade Desk is uniquely positioned as the only DSP that offers global scale across an omnichannel landscape and transparency and openness to allow advertisers to completely own their data, including the measurement of success using the advertiser's source of truth. This is especially important for the activation and understanding of advertiser's owned first-party data, where audiences can be reached at scale and measured for effectiveness.

We are buy-side only. We believe that by aligning our business only with buyers, we are able to avoid inherent conflicts of interest that exist when serving both the buy-side and sell-side. This is why we do not own any advertising inventory. We provide our clients with a marketplace of inventory and data partners allowing you to spend your budgets based on performance.

What do you like best about The Trade Desk?

The Trade Desk is known for its straightforward platform, which makes managing and optimizing campaigns relatively efficient and easy to navigate. While there are aspects that could be more streamlined or intuitive, the tools generally provide what you need to get the job done. Their support team is usually responsive and helpful when challenges arise, though it would be great to see more proactive resources to address common issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Trade Desk?

What I find challenging about The Trade Desk is that reports can be slow to load, which makes it harder to quickly analyze campaign performance when I need insights fast. The pricing also feels a bit steep, especially for smaller teams or companies with tighter budgets. On top of that, I’d appreciate more transparency around margins and fees to better understand the full cost structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Trade Desk helps simplify the complexity of running campaigns across multiple channels by giving me one platform to manage everything. It also makes it easier to reach a wider audience and provides solid data insights, so I can make better decisions and optimize performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Trade Desk?

The Trade Desk is simple to use and it gets complex when it comes into the greater tasks. I have contacted their customer support a couple of times and is fast, reliable and they have provided me with good answers. Trade Desks offers a lot of different fetures like you can do advance targeting on your ads, do real time reppporting that helps a lot when presenting results to clients. Implementing new campaigns from scratch can be a little bit challenging but it gets easier with the time. I do use Trade Desk at least once per week and it gets the result that the clients wants. What do you like best about The Trade Desk?

The one on one support. If we ever have questions or concerns the TTD team is there to answer or help out. Set up is pretty easy and navigation is as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Trade Desk?

TTD could use some features that would make making multiple changes a bit easier. Such as editing different audiences in different ad groups at the same time, rather than being only to place one audience to the ad groups selected. Same for creative or any bulk edit. Having the ability to make changes in multiple ad groups within the same page would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Trade Desk solving and how is that benefiting you?

They're making changes that allow the user to have better control and a more holistic view of their campaigns. Not completely there, but it's making things a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
