I've used various Programmatic platforms, and what sets Basis apart is twofold:
1) The outstanding customer support. Their team always gets back to us very quickly and proactively provides updates via email on updates to the platform, new partnerships, partnerships that are no longer available, and new product lines.
We see Basis as an extension of our team, helping with new business pitches and new product offerings for our clients.

2) The breadth of product offerings and features under their umbrella (display, video, OTT/CTV, digital OOH, transit, radio, etc.) is impressive. I have not found this with other programmatic platforms, and find it extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting could use some slight improvement tweaks, but they are actively working to implement our suggestions. It's very usable as-is, could just be that much faster with these tweaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Basis Standalone DSPis a pretty simple and relatively easy platform to learn. While I knew alot about programmatic, I always "had people for that". In my new role, I had to learn to be hands on keyboard across the entire programmatic landscape. Using the Basis platform has allowed me to easily learn how to create programmatic campaigns across display, audio, online video, CTV and more. And, whenever i needed help, a human in customer service from the Basis help center was always there. And, the other thing we like about the platform, is that there is no minimum spend. This allows our small businss clientele the opportunity to test and learn about a new medium that they had never tried before and know very little about. Hats off to BASIS! **Snappy, information dense UI**
- Their UI is fantastic in the boring way in which it gives you all the information you need, loads quickly, and doesn't waste your time. It's information dense and practical.

- The documentation is not just technical facts, it's written well by a team (or potentially just one rockstar, who knows) that undetstands why you would be reading it and explains why they did things the way you did, and what you should do to accomplish whatever your goal is.
**The quality of people we interact with there are second to none.**
- Our technical coverage team is really good, and especially good at getting the relevant expert to opine when that could be the right move.

CTV needs work. A lot of work.

The ease of use of the platform and the support team... they respond quickly and takes an educational approach. The Basis platform has all the features to fits all types of campaign sizes and makes it easy to optimize and adjust on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basis has easy to use API integrations that allow you to integrate with 3rd party dashboards but I wish Basis would develope a dashboard of their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basis DSP is one of the most ituative and wasy to use DSP's that I've used; Implementation and execution of campaigns, the number of integrations in the platform, and the number of features make my day to day easier and allows me time to really focus on the clients goal and the final outcome of the campaign. The best thing about Basis is all of the resources provided to you to be successful. Their help and resource centers are top notch and their customer support is top teir. It's honeslty hard to come up with something I dislike about Basis. There are a few features that I wish functioned differently for ease of use, but understand why they are the way they are. I've had the pleasure of using Basis for four years now and they have exceeded my expectations in every way. As an agency looking to streamline our clients' digital advertising efforts, Basis has been an invaluable partner. There isn't much to dislike about Basis, although certain platform integrations can take a long time to come into effect. This is a minor inconvenience that doesn't overshadow the overall benefits and functionality that Basis provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wide range of targeting options in platform, easy to use, the customer success teams (both regular support and CSOD) are quick to respond and provide complete, helpful information.
Very rarely do I work with a platform on which the support teams go above and beyond to help strategize targeting tactics. The norm these days for other platforms seems to have become providing scripted responses such as "spend more money," whereas Basis support understands agencies work with fixed budgets and need to get the most out of them. There's no way in-platform to gauge what settings are restricting spend/pacing. It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to understanding what specific settings are restricting a campaign from spending, or at least a clue as to what could be causing it.
Sometimes this can take a while to diagnose on your own or just having to wait on a repsonse from the support team (who are quite quick to respond, but sometimes you just want to resolve the issue immediately on your own). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The DSP works very smothly, with no campaign problem so far. Great support from all team and with great updates and tips.

There are 2 things that we missi on Basis right now. First is the connection with SoundCast our SSP and we the other is that ID5 is not implemented yet. I know these 2 features are being descussed and I'd love to have them implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The options that Basis provides in terms of targeting, campaigns, and even support is super helpful. They are great with checking on campaigns when we have questions. Using the platform is also fairly easy once you get the hang of the layout and all things available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
