I have been a Salesloft customer for 3 years, things started out well but they never updated features or technology in that entire period. Outbound email best practices are not possible with Salesloft and it will ensure poor email deliverability, limited campaign options, and a lack of integrations to new sales tech
Worst of all was my customer service experience. I noticed an annual auto renewal hit my credit card and informed their billing and customer service immediately that I did not plan to renew and that I would like a refund. They refused completely and wouldn’t compromise in any way. They referenced an email about billing that went to my spam, this info in inaccessible on their platform, and they felt completely entitled to keep all of my annual fee.

Salesloft makes outreach timely, user friendly, personalized and collaborative. I've used Salesloft for three years as a BDR and I can confidently say it is a must have tool to drive business. Salesloft seemlessly integrates with Salesforce, provides personalized short cuts to make persoanlized outreach simplisitic, and the completely customizable cadences allow for sharing across all users. I also enjoy Salesloft's converstions tab to review prior calls, It gives a quick summary, talk ratio and helpful insights to improve my call quality and ensure I am focusing more on my customer. I spend my entire day in Salesloft and rely on the day reminders for calls/emails to keep me exceeding and meeting my KPIs. I highly recommend Salesloft to all business development teams. I absolutely love cadences and how easy it is to create them for targeted use and consistent messaging. I'm not the most organized person, so ensuring I am making outreaches with proper spacing and messaging is amazing. Being able to listen back to my calls was something I never thought would be so valuable from both a info perspective but also from a coaching perspective. The analytics is just the right amount showing you how your efforts stack up against your peers. I like that you can view by email, call, notes etc., but I wish it were easier to add an additional filter of call sentiment or disposition. While our experience with Salesloft's sales team and customer service was extremely disappointing, the product itself did have some useful features that helped us with our SDR process. However, the company's aggressive sales tactics and inflexibility ultimately outweighed any potential benefits. We purchased Salesloft's product a year ago, and upon signing up, we were led to believe that we were committing to a one-year contract with a clear start and end date. However, their Master Service Agreement (MSA) states that the product will auto-renew unless otherwise specified on the order form. Despite the order form indicating a one-year subscription, Salesloft claims that we are subject to auto-renewal.
The company makes it difficult to cancel by requiring a 60-day notice period and forcing customers to speak with a sales agent.
When the subscription renews, they send threatening emails and attempt to coerce customers into prepaying for the entire year or risk being sent to collections. This lack of empathy and transparency is concerning.
As a business owner with over 20 years of experience, I have never encountered such aggressive renewal tactics.
Salesloft's pushy sales team has been trying to increase our licenses, threatening a 7% annual increment if we don't comply. When we attempted to reduce our licenses, they claimed that we needed to notify them 60 days in advance, which was not possible.
We are now being forced to renew at a higher rate per year, with no option to reduce our licenses.
This inflexibility and disregard for customer service are major red flags. I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering Salesloft, as their tactics can be detrimental to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That there is no reverse function when you type your message. Like the one you can find when writing an email in outlook, if you change your mind, and you want to go back to an earlier version of the message, as far as I can see, that cannot be done. You will then either re/write the message *always time consuming to have to type all over again, and you will always miss something from past writing ..... I would love to such a function added. Easy to learn and use for an entry level SDR. Functionalities available to add all kind of information regarding a conversation history with a prospect. Notes, pins, alternative numbers, call notes etc.

I love the email tracking feature, and the calendar integration is really helpful. When prospects reschedule through the link, it automatically updates on my calendar, which saves a lot of time. It’s not very intuitive, especially in the beginning. The setup process was overwhelming, and we had to go through extensive training as a team, which was tiring. - When tasks are rescheduled, it resets the date. It would be nice to see when tasks are originally created and even the dates that changes were made
