## Iterable Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive, Versatile, and Powerful Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna T. | Junior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find it quite intuitive, versatile and powerful. Getting in touch with customer support is easy and people are always very helpful. We are aware that the capabilities of the tool are very big and the integration can be expanded, and we'd love to receive guidance in that respect. People who work with the software everyday find it easy to implement new logics and workarounds. We use it everyday across teams.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I feel that accessing information and understanding the platform's capabilities could be made more straightforward. There seem to be simpler ways this could be achieved. Maybe some smart tips with AI or accessible case studies.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is making it easy for us to create, analyze, iterate and optimize campaigns that have worked in the past.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your feedback about Iterable's intuitive and powerful platform. We understand your desire for guidance on expanding integrations and accessing information, and we will work on providing more resources and support in those areas.

  ### 2. User-Friendly with Robust Automation, But Needs Global Consideration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like that Iterable is fairly easy to use, making the process of creating customer journeys simplistic and not daunting. I find the Iterable Academy to be an excellent resource, along with the support function where the staff are readily available to help. The team is very friendly, super helpful, and patient, which enhances my experience with the software.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Some more user-friendly views within Iterable itself would be super helpful. It would be great to be able to see something like a list of all purchases within a defined timeframe in a dashboard in Iterable rather than having to rely on API calls, similar to how I can see data on email sends.

Providing users with the ability to customise based on region would also be great, e.g. being able to use UK formats for dates and currency.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to automate customer journeys and track campaign performance, helping me understand customer behavior and address issues like email delivery and voucher eligibility.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're happy to hear that you're finding Iterable user-friendly and that our support team has been helpful. We appreciate your suggestions for more user-friendly views and global considerations, and we'll definitely consider those for future updates.

  ### 3. Powerful Data Control, But Support Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is technically advanced, but what stands out is the control it gives over integrations, data, and segmentation. It’s flexible enough to support complex workflows without feeling overly restrictive.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The biggest downside is support. While the platform itself is powerful, support can be slow and not always as proactive as you’d want, especially when you’re dealing with time-sensitive issues.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves the problem of orchestrating complex, data-driven lifecycle messaging at scale.
It lets us centralize customer data, segment users precisely, and trigger messaging based on real behavior rather than static lists or one-off campaigns.

For us, that means more relevant communication, better control over who gets what and when, and the ability to iterate quickly without heavy engineering support. It’s especially valuable when you’re running multiple concurrent campaigns and need consistency, visibility, and flexibility across channels.

  ### 4. Versatile Platform with Impressive Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love Iterable's audience segmentation capability because it lets us really drill down into our audience and get so personalized. The high-level opportunities for segmentation and the dynamic fields we use within one email, with if-then statements, make our content super personalized. I also really love the embedded message feature—it allows us to add additional placements within the app with a low engineering lift. I like how versatile Iterable is; it's very robust and meets all our needs. I find it convenient and straightforward to work with different channels easily, whether from the campaign builder or the journey builder. I love the ability to save templates and use them quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I've really missed having an easy way to add or upload photos, but I appreciate that a media library is coming. This has been lacking for a couple of years. Also, the initial setup was a beast, mainly because we were figuring out how we wanted to use the product best.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love Iterable for its audience segmentation capabilities, allowing us to drill down and personalize content easily. The embedded message feature simplifies adding placements in the app with minimal engineering effort. The variety of channels and ease of editing campaigns are also convenient.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying Iterable's audience segmentation capabilities and finding it convenient and straightforward to work with different channels. We appreciate your feedback about the need for an easier way to add or upload photos, and we're excited to let you know that a media library is in the works to address this. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

  ### 5. Easy to Use, Creative Logic, and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver M. | Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

It's easy to use and straightforward. The handlebar logic is really dynamic and you can get very creative with how to use it and set things up properly. There's also a host of channels that you have access to whether that's email, push, SMS or WhatsApp. The support team and Customer Success team are also always super helpful, and quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The journey builder could be more detailed in terms of who is in the flow where they are, and where they exited. And sometimes there are a few small bugs. That happens, so nothing I really dislike.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is our main tool for all customer communication. Without it, we wouldn't have a scalable way to reach out to our customers.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're delighted to hear that Iterable is your main tool for customer communication and is helping you reach your customers at scale. We appreciate your support and will continue to enhance our platform for your benefit.

  ### 6. Empowers Email Marketing with AI, Needs Better Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I use Iterable for email marketing and personalization. I like segmenting lists and how it helps us create journeys. I appreciate all the new AI capabilities we saw today—they make our email performance better because we can move faster and create a system even with a small team. The initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Customer service.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable helps us by segmenting lists and creating journeys. It boosts email performance, allowing us to move faster and build a system with a small team.

  ### 7. Clear Interface, Efficient Workflow, Needs Library Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice P. | Customer Relationship Management Assistant, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like how clear the platform is with everything laid out very clearly. I also appreciate the organization of the folders and the way the interface looks. Our customer experience managers are quite helpful and supportive, which I find very valuable. Additionally, the platform is secure, which is definitely a plus for me. Overall, using Iterable allows me to work fast and efficiently, getting a lot done, and I have confidence that if issues arise, they are resolved quickly by someone who is there to help.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

With the new update of the creative library, I find it slightly frustrating how it doesn't keep the same folder that you've had open. Before the update, if I was in an email and building it, I could put in one image, come out of the gallery, click on another section to put in an image, and when I'd open the gallery, it would open the folder I was most recently in if I hadn't refreshed the page. It doesn't do that anymore, and I really wish it did. I also wish when you're selecting images, you could select the whole box rather than just a small circle because that slows things down a bit. Having to log in every day using the Google authorization is sometimes just a bit irritating. Not a huge problem.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves tracking issues, especially with UTM links not pulling through to our data service. It makes my job easier with its intuitive platform and manages segments, lists, and assets efficiently.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're delighted to hear that you appreciate Iterable's clear platform and the support provided by our customer experience managers. We understand your frustration with the recent update to the creative library and the issues with folder navigation and image selection. Your feedback is important to us, and we'll consider it for future improvements. It's great to hear that Iterable has been beneficial in solving tracking issues and making your job easier with its intuitive platform.

  ### 8. Highly Personalized Marketing with an Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate P.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I use Iterable for sending email, SMS, and push notifications to our customers. I love that it gives us the ability to be highly personalized with our customer base and allows us to have a single platform to send all of our communications. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, which makes planning journeys and segmentation quick and easy. Testing is also easy because of this.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I do find Iterable can be quite 'buggy' - sometimes things don't work quite as expected or could be more customer friendly. When adding an image into a campaign, the tiny dot at the top of the image must be clicked specifically, rather than just clicking the whole image. Also, when adding an image to a campaign, it would be ideal if the most recently opened file in the creative library automatically opened again to save time.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to be highly personalized with our customer base and sends all communications from a single platform. Its intuitive design makes planning journeys and segmentation quick and easy.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> It's great to hear that Iterable is helping you with personalized communications and journey planning. We value your feedback about the user interface and will take steps to improve the functionality and address the issues you've mentioned.

  ### 9. Effortless Email Campaigns with Minimal Engineering

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran G.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like the ease of use in Iterable, especially the fact that changes can be made by non-engineers. Previously, we used legacy systems where any email content changes required engineering effort, but now I can easily change the content without any engineering time. Maintaining an individual customer record also works well, enabling the Ops team to self-serve tracking when needed. The initial setup of Iterable was relatively easy and much simpler compared to setting anything up in Talend.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I think the problems we've encountered with Iterable are more due to our implementation rather than an Iterable defect. We could possibly have had more support during onboarding to prevent developing bugs. We're now more up to speed with the tool and considering completely wiping data from the tool and starting again with the knowledge we've gained. It would have been helpful to go through our use cases and receive recommendations. We have a hybrid identifier project but think we should have gone with user ID. I don't think we understood the full implications when that decision was made.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily change the content of emails without involving engineers, saving time and resources. Non-engineers can make changes, and maintaining individual customer records helps our Ops team track information independently.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform user-friendly and appreciate the ease of making content changes without requiring engineering support. We understand the importance of efficient email campaign management.

We apologize for any challenges you faced during onboarding and implementation. Your feedback is valuable, and we will use it to improve our support processes. If you have any specific use cases or need recommendations, please feel free to reach out to our team. We are here to assist you and ensure you get the most out of Iterable.

Thank you for choosing Iterable, and we look forward to continuing to support your email marketing efforts!

  ### 10. Challenging Setup, But Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable's user interface to be quite intuitive and user-friendly. As a designer, I appreciate how easy it is to understand when to take certain actions, track the progress of activities, and know when tasks have been completed. This makes it quick to digest ongoing processes, which is crucial for effective communication and design tasks. Additionally, Iterable offers significant benefits by allowing our design, product, and engineering teams to collaboratively engage with the platform, thereby enabling seamless message delivery to customers with minimal engineering effort. I also value the ability to reuse templates, which helps maintain a quick pace in executing our communication strategies.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the three different features for designing in-app messages or templates a little challenging. The beginner level isn't sufficient for what needs to be done, and the intermediate isn't always enough either. It requires more snippets and customizability. There could be something more customizable without needing snippets, making it easier to use. The initial setup isn't that easy, and we're still working on it. There's a big knowledge gap in understanding what Iterable is, how to use it, and how to set up success for the team. Figuring out community templates would be great.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to reach customers easily, enabling design, product, and engineering teams to send messages with less engineer lift. It also lets us reuse templates for quick outreach.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Matt,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad the UI and reusable templates are supporting collaboration across your teams. We also appreciate your comments around setup and design flexibility, as those insights help guide where we focus improvements. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

  ### 11. Streamlined Customer Communication with a Few Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I greatly enjoy the template creation feature in Iterable, as it facilitates the crafting of customer communications with ease. Additionally, I find the segmentation tools within Iterable to be exceedingly intuitive, allowing me to efficiently target specific customer groups based on precise criteria. The journey creation process is also notable for its simplicity, employing user-friendly objects and cards that streamline the process and make it enjoyable to navigate and configure. Furthermore, the ability to integrate Iterable with other tools, such as direct integration with our data platform BigQuery using Smart Ingest, has been a significant advantage, as it promises to enhance our data management and communication capabilities. Moreover, although I wasn't involved in the initial setup, adding new events and API calls into the platform has been straightforward and user-friendly, which speaks to the platform's underlying ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the way in which journeys, templates, and campaigns are linked together in Iterable to be confusing. Navigating between these elements often requires moving between screens in a counter-intuitive way. Specifically, creating a campaign, adding, and editing a template can be quite janky. I'm sometimes taken out of the primary journey to edit the template in another area of the platform, and then I have to navigate back to the original journey myself, rather than being able to complete the task within the same context.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves our communication inefficiencies, enabling us to seamlessly connect with customers at crucial touchpoints via API-triggered messaging. This enhances our engagement through intuitive customer segmentation and journey creation features.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Max,
It’s encouraging to know that Iterable’s template tools, segmentation, and journey builder are adding value for your team’s cross-channel messaging. We also hear your point about the experience of editing templates outside the journey context feeling clunky, and we’ll make sure that context is included in feedback we take back to the team. Appreciate you taking the time to share this with the G2 community.

  ### 12. Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sydney W. | Email Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I've been using Iterable for a while now, and honestly, I’m super impressed. The platform has so many great features, and the support has been top-notch. Shoutout to my rep, Alex, who’s been incredibly responsive and always quick to help whenever I have a question!

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

That said, I’ve got two small but important feature requests: an undo button (because, let’s face it, we all make mistakes!) and auto-save to make sure nothing gets lost mid-edit. Adding these would take Iterable from great to absolutely perfect!

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Iterable has made my marketing campaigns more efficient, effective, and data-driven, which frees me up to focus on big-picture strategies instead of getting bogged down in manual tasks. It’s a huge win for both productivity and results!

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're impressed with Iterable and that our support team, especially Alex, has been able to provide top-notch assistance. We appreciate your feature requests and will definitely take them into consideration for future updates.

  ### 13. User-Friendly Email Platform, Needs More Reusable Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lili T. | Art Director Lifecycle, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I use Iterable for email development and sending, and I really appreciate its ease of sending and user friendliness. It allows multiple team members to use it, which is incredibly beneficial for our team collaboration. I also value the drag and drop tool, which simplifies the process significantly.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I would love for it to be developed further to use reusable modules.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable makes sending emails easy and is user-friendly. It allows multiple team members to use it, which is really helpful.

  ### 14. Customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roselyn S. | Senior Email Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

The customer support is great. There are many ESPs out there and lot of them can do similar things.

But the #1 reason why I have stayed at Iterable is because the support, the CX agents and the CSMs I have been assigned are deeply knowledgable and it's reassuring to know that I can lean on them.

Special shoutout to Jensen Huddleston

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

A lot of aspects aren't user friendly

-When you download data from the reports dashboard, it splits each campaign's data so to get the full picture you must add all the pieces yourself. Tedious
-When you run experiments, trying to figure out the winner seems impossible. I don't necessarily need a bunch of graphs, I need to figure out which option won the test.

When your contract increases even though you downgrade custom event storage & email sends, that's pretty insane.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a platform for automated and blast campaigns for both push and email and Iterable fits the bill.

  ### 15. Effortless Campaign Management with Excellent Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable's segmentation and list management features exceptionally easy to use, which simplifies the process of targeting specific customer groups for our marketing efforts. The ability to design campaign templates is another highlight, allowing me to create visually appealing and effective communications. I am impressed by how smoothly Iterable handles mass personalized marketing emails, making it an indispensable tool for reaching out to customers. Additionally, the platform's capability to comfortably handle omnichannel communication sets it apart, responding to our need for innovation. I also found the initial setup to be straightforward and hassle-free, contributing to a smooth transition from other software. Overall, these features, coupled with Iterable's continuous innovation and ease of use, make it a highly recommended platform for my marketing needs.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find getting data into Iterable challenging. Additionally, the speed of processing data is an area that could use improvement.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to send mass personalized marketing emails and push notifications, leveraging segmentation and easy-to-use lists, and designing campaign templates, making omnichannel communication effective.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Oliver,
It’s great to hear how segmentation, list management, and template design are supporting your omnichannel campaigns. We’re glad the initial setup felt smooth and that Iterable helps you personalize at scale. Your feedback on data ingestion and processing speed is noted and helpful as we continue improving performance. We appreciate you sharing your experience with the community.

  ### 18. Streamlined Automation with Some Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver W. | Senior CRM Executive

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable immensely beneficial for automating our marketing tasks, which spans across different phases of the customer lifecycle - from early customer journeys to retention and win-back. This capability has significantly helped us manage the customer lifecycle and enhance company metrics. I particularly appreciate the frequency cap feature, which is crucial in preventing us from spamming our customers. Additionally, the easy integration with Movable Ink stands out as a potent advantage. This direct integration is facilitated by Iterable's simple and user-friendly UX, making the process seamless and more efficient. The Iterable platform's ease in sending marketing messages across various channels, including emails, push notifications, SMS, and in-app, is another valued feature. Finally, the fast-response time from Iterable support is greatly appreciated and has come in handy during times of distress. Overall, these aspects of Iterable align well with our goals and processes, boosting our operational efficiency and effectiveness in marketing.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I dislike the limit on the number of dynamic fields allowed in Iterable and the inability to delete existing dynamic fields. This constraint forces us to reuse previous fields to avoid reaching our limit, which can become quite messy.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to automate customer journeys, improving company metrics and managing lifecycles. It prevents spamming with frequency caps and offers seamless integration with MovableInk, enhancing marketing efficiency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Iterable has been immensely beneficial for automating your marketing tasks and managing the customer lifecycle. We appreciate your feedback on the frequency cap feature, easy integration with Movable Ink, and the ease of sending marketing messages across various channels. We understand your concerns about the limit on dynamic fields and the inability to delete existing ones, and we'll share this feedback with our product team for consideration.

I really value the Catalog feature, which allows us to connect our own data models to our content and dynamically serve our customers. The initial setup was very easy for us, thanks to the very supportive team.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Being able to delete user profile fields.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable reduces lag time of data connecting to customers and has made major improvements to our B2C business.

  ### 20. Efficient but Clunky: Pros and Cons of Iterable

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben E.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love the ease of use in setting up journeys with Iterable, which significantly simplifies creating effective communication flows. This feature is particularly beneficial when orchestrating messaging experiences, allowing me to efficiently structure and manage customer interactions without a steep learning curve. The platform's straightforward interface for setting up complex journeys not only enhances usability but also supports my overall goal of improving customer communication.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the UI and UX of Iterable a bit clunky, which makes everything feel like it requires too many clicks. Additionally, when I edit journeys and copy campaigns, I end up with a lot of duplicates that create unnecessary noise. I then have to take the extra step of organizing these into folders, which is time-consuming, to make navigation easier.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable for customer communication, and it simplifies setting up messaging journeys, streamlining email distribution and enhancing holistic messaging experiences.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Ben,
We’re glad the journey setup is helping simplify customer communication for your team. Your point about UI flow feeling a bit clunky and creating noise with duplicates is heard and valuable context for improvements. Navigating and structuring campaigns more smoothly is an area we keep top of mind as we iterate. We appreciate you taking the time to share these thoughts.

  ### 21. Streamlined Email Marketing with Intuitive UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne R. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I really appreciate the user experience (UX) and how easy it is to navigate through the various features and tools within Iterable. The drag and drop feature in the email builder is exceptionally user-friendly, allowing for easy tweaks and customizations. I find the setup of journeys to be straightforward, and the AI prompts and tools integrated into the journeys facilitate easy updates and help in streamlining processes. Overall, these aspects make managing email marketing, transactional emails, and embedded messaging tasks quite seamless.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the asset library in Iterable challenging because it currently limits access to only those assets and images uploaded through email builds. If there were a dedicated library section available, it would significantly ease the process of reviewing all available assets more clearly.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to seamlessly communicate with customers through marketing activity updates, ensuring they receive order updates and transactional emails throughout the process.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Iterable easy to use and full of functionality. Our drag and drop tools are designed to make campaign building simple and efficient.

  ### 22. Efficient Marketing Comms with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I primarily use Iterable for marketing communications, focusing on large-scale email sends to mixed segments. I particularly appreciate the journeys feature in Iterable because it offers multiple trigger options, making it versatile in solving various problems. Additionally, the layout is intuitive and allows for easy navigation, especially when viewing a journey for the first time, such as for quality assurance purposes. This comprehensive layout facilitates understanding and managing the journeys efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find that there is a lot of repetition required when building templates and lists in Iterable. This repetitive process can be time-consuming and cumbersome, as it lacks a seamless workflow. Although the feature of saved rows has helped reduce some of the repetition, it still does not facilitate a smooth and efficient experience. Implementing predictive text could significantly improve this aspect by streamlining the process of creating templates and lists.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable for large scale email sends to mixed segments and find its journey feature, with multiple trigger options and an intuitive layout, solves various problems and simplifies QA processes.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We’re grateful for you taking the time to leave a review and share your experience. It’s encouraging to hear that journeys and navigation make large-scale communications easier to manage. Your suggestions around reducing repetition and improving efficiency in template and list creation are valuable as we continue refining the platform. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the community.

  ### 23. Versatile Email and Notification Platform, Needs Heatmap Fix

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah H.

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable extremely beneficial as it encompasses all the necessary core features I require, particularly for marketing emails, SMS, and web push notifications. I appreciate the regular feature updates that Iterable provides, as they often resolve minor issues we encounter, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing user experience. The quick response to known issues or bugs with timely updates is a significant plus, ensuring functionality and reliability. Additionally, I value the ability to submit feature requests, which makes me feel involved in the product's development and future enhancements. These aspects of Iterable contribute to a seamless and efficient marketing communication workflow, empowering me to connect with customers effectively by leveraging the data we have about them and ensuring communications are both timely and relevant.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I have noticed issues with the heatmaps in Iterable not displaying the number of clicks throughout the email correctly. The discrepancy arises because the heatmaps UI was updated earlier this year, and depending on whether you view the updated or previous version, the number of clicks shown differs. This inconsistency makes it difficult to assess the effectiveness of different email elements, particularly when conducting A/B testing and reviewing heatmaps for tests.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to communicate regularly with customers, balancing frequency and relevant content. Its feature updates resolve small issues and allow feature requests.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Your review offers helpful insight into how Iterable supports timely and relevant customer communication. We’re glad to hear frequent updates and responsiveness to issues have been beneficial for your team. The concerns you raised around heatmap accuracy and UI differences are noted and appreciated as we work to improve clarity in performance insights. We appreciate you contributing this feedback.

  ### 24. Efficient Campaigns with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah D.

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love how Iterable facilitates executing marketing campaigns efficiently and effectively, thanks to its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and robust segment builder. The drag-and-drop feature is particularly valuable as it simplifies the campaign creation process, making it accessible and user-friendly for creating impactful email campaigns effortlessly. Additionally, being able to easily create lists of customers to contact significantly enhances the workflow, allowing for better-targeted communication strategies. These features collectively streamline my email marketing efforts, saving time and reducing complexity, which is why I rate it an 8 out of 10 for recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the reporting in Iterable to be somewhat clunky at times. There is room for improvement, particularly in the heatmap feature, which could be more effective in displaying the performance of different snippets.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Iterable enables easy creation of customer contact lists and execution of marketing campaigns efficiently through its drag-and-drop and segment builder features.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Your review provides helpful insight into how Iterable fits into your campaign workflow. We’re glad the visual builder and list creation tools are supporting more targeted communication. The notes around reporting usability and snippet heatmaps are valuable as we think about improving performance visibility. We appreciate you contributing this feedback.

  ### 25. Streamlined Email Marketing with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine G.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love using Iterable for its drag & drop email builder, which significantly streamlines our workflow, making the path from design to implementation quicker and easier. This feature allows us to efficiently construct emails without the need for deep coding knowledge. Additionally, I enjoy how snippets and HTML blocks can be utilized to personalize emails dynamically based on profile fields and event fields, enhancing the tailored experience for our audience. The data feeds offered by Iterable are invaluable for our operations, as they enable us to pull in necessary data on-the-fly from external data sources, meaning we don't have to store all of our data directly within Iterable itself. This flexibility allows us to manage and utilize our data efficiently, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our marketing and communication strategies. Moreover, I appreciate that Iterable has great tools for us to be able to construct intricate customer journeys, and provide us with the ability to create exceptional experience-driven campaigns propelled by moments-based marketing.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I would like better insights for platforms and devices, as well as a way to drill down into the user segment that makes up a metric without having to build a bunch of dynamic segments in the list builder. We spend time preparing and customizing emails for all types of platforms, and it would be nice to know what type of devices to concentrate our time on. For example, if most of the opens come from iOS mobile devices, we will concentrate on making that better but also look at instances where we can make Android better. The drill down into user segments from insights would save valuable time when reporting to management. For example, sometimes we would like to know what type of users are unsubscribing. The only way to figure that out is to try to isolate those users in a segment which is complex and time-consuming.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable enables us to build intricate customer journeys, streamlining email creation with a drag & drop builder. It enhances personalization through snippets and data feeds, improving efficiency and customer experiences in our marketing efforts.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We appreciate you sharing your review and how Iterable supports your workflow from design through execution. It’s great to hear the drag-and-drop builder, snippets, and data feeds are helping your team personalize at scale and power moments-based journeys. Your feedback around device-level insights and easier drill-down into user segments is valuable context, especially when reporting and optimizing experiences. Thanks for taking the time to share this perspective.

  ### 27. Intuitive and Innovative, But Initial Setup Can Be Challenging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love how Iterable has an easy-to-use interface, making the platform really easy to navigate, which simplifies my work process substantially. The innovative approach they take is highly commendable, as it allows me to explore new ways to enhance our marketing strategies effectively. I appreciate that Iterable often rolls out new features, keeping the platform cutting-edge and allowing me to add variables to the experiment sessions to optimize our marketing efforts further. The ability to send personalized messages to different segments at the optimal time with send/time optimization is a standout feature that significantly improves our communication effectiveness. Additionally, the platform's capability to integrate effortlessly with tools like Salesforce and Snowflake makes it an invaluable part of our marketing stack.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I found the initial setup of Iterable to be quite slow and painful, particularly with the push and in-app setup. Additionally, the messaging insights could be improved as there is no way to get rid of unused metrics and track custom events.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to send personalized messages at the optimal time with send/time optimization and appreciate its user-friendly interface and innovative features.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform intuitive and innovative, and that it has simplified your work process while enhancing your marketing strategies.

  ### 28. A powerful all-in-one solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

A major advantage of Iterable for us is being able to integrate all communication channels through one platform with simple interface anyone on the team can easily get started with. Setting up email campaigns does not require a lot of dev effort and technical skills while offering a lot of flexibility in terms of segmentation, advanced sending logic, and A/B testing.

In a year, the platform has rolled out some cool usability improvements, like Creative Library and UX enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Some features still need work, like Brand Affinity, which now only considers user's email activity and not real loyalty towards the brand. Another downside is support - while the Support Team always responds promptly to ongoing questions, some larger-scale requests, like project migrations, could take a long time to complete.

It would be great if Iterable-side bugs and tech issues were communicated officially.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable helps us automate email marketing activities, which ensures we cover 100% of user's journey within our product and also convert non-paying customers into our active users through promotional campaigns. Iterable's A/B testing capabilities allow us to maintain high testing pace, easily iterate on successful variants, and test lots of variables, from subjects & design elements to send times. It's also easy to onboard new team members into our retention channels thanks to intuitive interface (which has improved quite a lot over the past year) and extensive docs

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you find our all-in-one solution beneficial for integrating communication channels and simplifying email campaign setup. We appreciate your insights on areas for improvement, such as enhancing the Brand Affinity feature and streamlining support for larger-scale requests.

We're committed to addressing these concerns and ensuring a seamless experience for all our users. If you have any further feedback or need assistance with project migrations or any other aspect of Iterable, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help and support you every step of the way!

  ### 29. Usable APIs, But Digioh Frustrations Hinder Recommendation

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete C.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable's APIs to be easy to use, which is a significant positive aspect for me as it facilitates seamless integration and interaction with different systems. This ease of use reflects a thoughtful design and user-friendly approach, making technical operations more manageable. Additionally, during the initial setup of Iterable, the process was acceptable and the onboarding experience was fine, indicating a well-organized and efficient approach to getting users started with the platform. This aspect helps in harmonizing setup across various systems within a group, showing Iterable's capability to accommodate diverse configurations and streamline operations.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I am frustrated with the integration of Digioh as a third-party tool with Iterable, which causes immense frustration due to its complexity and lack of transparency. The fact that it's a massive file to load and the instructions around it being not intuitive or 'you just have to do it this way' does not fit the profile of an acceptable enterprise solution. This inconsistency in ease of use compared to Iterable’s technology represents a significant downside. Furthermore, the unexpected requirement to use Digioh halfway through the onboarding process was not acceptable, and this reliance on a third-party tool makes it impossible for me to recommend Iterable confidently.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable as our main ESP for emailing customers, appreciating its easy-to-use APIs.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're thrilled to hear that you find Iterable's APIs easy to use and that they have facilitated seamless integration for you. We understand your frustration with the integration of Digioh and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We value your input and will look into ways to improve this process for a smoother experience. Thank you for choosing Iterable as your main ESP, and we appreciate the opportunity to enhance your experience.

  ### 30. Great Features with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hollie P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I really appreciate that I can manage in-app, journey, email, and push notifications all in one place with Iterable. This feature significantly streamlines my workflow and allows for more efficient campaign management. Furthermore, the organic layout of the software stands out as a particularly beneficial feature. It makes navigating the platform and sourcing data a straightforward and seamless experience.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I am having a really hard time understanding some of the specific nuances about how to use certain features in Iterable, even for simple tools like segmentation. The simple requests cannot be solved by Iterable support and often get reported for bugs. There is a lot of learning expected and almost daily support required for producing and reproducing the basics. It's often a nuanced detail that wouldn't be known through training. Simplifying how to use tools like journey building, segmentation, fields, and events would be helpful. During implementation, people really need structured, hands-on recommendations for what to do and not to do, and some time for experts to review accounts. Right now, we are spending a lot of time and money undoing mistakes that happened last year during implementation.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to manage and monitor marketing campaigns efficiently, integrating email, push notifications, and more in one place, with an easy-to-navigate layout.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable. We're pleased to hear that our platform has streamlined your workflow and allowed for more efficient campaign management. We understand that there may be challenges in understanding certain features, and we are committed to providing better support and resources to help users navigate the platform more effectively.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable stands out among competitors for their:
- Simple UI
- User friendly interface
- Great customer support
- Constantly improving features
- Ask frequently for user feedback
- Love love love the experimentation tab where you can see all your experiments and results
- Brand affinity score: amazing way to check users who are engaged with your brand

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

- There could be more features added to enhance testing and channels, they are working on it and it's nothing really crucial to using it as a Customer Engagement Platform
- The analytics dashboard is not stellar, but still has a lot of useful information, I trust them to improve their product
- Embedded messages and their use in journeys could be improved

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enablement of wider marketing team
Previously we relied on 1-2 people in the email marketing team to create, review and send emails, along with audience creation. It drove them to burn out because it was an immense load to carry. We decided to invest in a software/platform that enables team members to own their comms. As of today, we are almost a year into using Iterable, and most colleagues in different departments have used it to build their emails along with our audience building tool Hightouch. They still are not experts and make mistakes, but slowly and surely they will be able to send their own comms faster and better. The straightforward UI and UX was the main reason we decided to go for Iterable.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable, including the simple UI, user-friendly interface, and great customer support. We are committed to continuously improving our product, including enhancing the analytics dashboard and embedded messages in journeys. We value your feedback and are grateful for your support.

The platform's segmentation tools are also a standout, enabling us to deliver highly personalized messages without needing developers. Additionally, I find the integrations seamless and the personalization features robust, which together create a comprehensive, connected experience that is easy to manage. The clear analytics provided by Iterable also give me confidence in assessing the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Furthermore, the ability to centralize various communication channels like in-app, push, emails, and SMS into one flow is a major advantage, simplifying the management of customer interactions and journeys.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find that the conversion tracking in Iterable could be significantly improved. Currently, it does not work as reliably or accurately as needed, which affects our ability to trust the campaign performance data. This lack of reliability makes optimizations difficult. We would greatly benefit from more reliable tracking, clearer documentation, and stronger attribution options.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to centralize and automate email marketing workflows, managing complex customer journeys and sending personalized messages at scale. It simplifies audience segmentation and integrates multiple communication channels in one place, enhancing our marketing efficiency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We appreciate you sharing your review and how you’re using Iterable to manage complex, cross-channel journeys. I love how Iterable combines a clean, intuitive interface with powerful automation and personalization tools, making it easy to build complex user journeys, test new ideas quickly, and deliver highly relevant messages across multiple channels.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Reporting can feel limited and sometimes requires manual work or outside tools to get deeper insights, especially when comparing performance across multiple campaigns or channels.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves the challenge of sending timely, personalized communication at scale by centralizing user data, automating complex lifecycle journeys, and enabling cross-channel messaging—all of which helps us deliver more relevant experiences, increase engagement, and save a significant amount of manual work.

  ### 50. Wide Range of Features for Efficient Audience Targeting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyansh P. | Application Development Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

It offers a wider range of built-in features that can help you reach your target audience as efficiently as possible.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

While using Iterable, I have encountered a few challenges. For example, it does not allow you to delete fields once they have been created. Additionally, event-related data is not stored in a structured format, which can be limiting.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Iterable Data Feed solution proved to be very useful for us, allowing us to fetch data on demand whenever we needed to populate an email template. This approach means we don't have to store the data directly in Iterable.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable. We're pleased to hear that the Iterable Data Feed solution has been beneficial for your needs. We understand the importance of flexibility and will take note of your concerns about deleting fields and storing event-related data in a structured format.
