I've been in email marketing for 12 years and Iterable is one of the most marketing-friendly ESPs I've used while still boasting a ton of capabilities to create dynamic campaigns. We have a somewhat complicated infrastructure, but Iterable's implementation team guided us wonderfully through the process - making sure every one of our use cases was met and accommodated for. As the primary user of the product, I can build blast campaigns & complex journeys easily and their journey capabilities have opened up multiple customer touchpoints for us. Uploading images/having an image library isn't *as* straightforward as some other ESPs I've used; however, I do know that they are working on improving this feature and it is in beta, so I'm excited to see what that looks like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Iterable team is constantly open to feedback and building a product based on user feedback Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UX between some features is inconsistent- ex: calendar picker in journeys and list segmentation. Also the reporting insights is a weakness Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the standout features of Iterable is its remarkable flexibility and ease of implementation. Whether you're a seasoned marketer or just dipping your toes into the world of email marketing, the platform caters to all levels of expertise. The ease of sending personalized content is particularly noteworthy, thanks to the ability to build specific segments, the use of dynamic fields, and the catalog feature.
Another notable advantage of Iterable is its commitment to continuous improvement, frequently introducing new features that enhance the platform's capabilities. Customer support is always available and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is room for improvement in the analytics section. Although the platform provides essential insights, enhancing the analytics features could be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best thing about Iterable is the support team. They are always there and help you with agility. Special thanks to Haitham, Adyran, Tahmid and all other agents who made my job and life easier.
Of course technically, as a CRM specialist I can tell it is one of the best tools I ever used. I specifically love building journeys. Journeys at Iterable overall are super smooth and fun to use.
Generally it is a highly customizable and flexible tool in terms of campaign design and customer journey mapping. Also, strong automation and personalization capabilities enhance our work everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Building content catalogues could have been more user friendly. For example, it won't read anything from the sheets except just the text. Could have been a lot better if we could copy paste, play around with texts easily. (Bold, bulletpoints, spaces etc.)
About pricing, I think end of the year, being a bit flexible about agreed contract limitations (yearly email sent, users etc.) wouldn't hurt a healthy long term business relationship... It feels a bit unfair that pricing would go dramatically up if we exceed our limits just 5% for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support and speed of the support team. Ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no easy way to throttle my email sends day over day. This seems very necessary and easy to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Iterable makes it easy to get started with email and lifecycle marketing. The visual editor is great for quick and easy email creation, and the analytics are useful for quick insights into email and journey performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For companies with many campaigns, it can be challenging to manage how users flow between email campaigns and journeys. Sometimes complex journeys can also be difficult to update and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Iterable has been a great partner to work with. They were extremely helpful during implementation and migration. They are also always available to support us on Slack when we have questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some things we would love to be able to do, like rate limit emails by type (triggered, broad, etc.) that Iterable does not have the capability to do. We also are unable to see our unsubscribes within Looker which is an Iterable limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of data that we're able to track in the back end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to visualize the points/mediums from which users interact with our brand.
The event history is not friendly enough to efectively visualize the historic interactions from a single user or even a company. It's hard to know if they filled out a form, things that are not necesarily part of the customer journey itself, but happen before the customer actively is looking to purchase.
There's no tying between users / companies.
Visualizing the performance of campaigns lacks functionalities, the way that we can currently filter dates is not intuitive and you need to learn that you should account for more days in order to get the full data range you're looking for.
Wish Iterable could hold forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
