I love Iterable because since I started using it the product has improved a lot and has become more innovative. I am pleased when my team needs product changes, as they are ready to listen to my needs and do their best to improve it. It has a clear, adaptable and comprehensive interface to build the automation of the campaign workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can affirm that the most painful part of Iterable is the design of templates versus messages since sometimes it is a nuisance to edit a template and make it not be reflected in a message the way you thought. On the other hand, it can have different projects, but there is no order on a project. There is no control panel for several projects to check trends in those projects. 1. Iterable Team: From the moment we started working with them, their team was there to guide us through every step of the process. They provide expert advice, support and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns our team ever has, they always go above and beyond to ensure a smooth resolution.
2. Product: It's one of the best I've seen so far. The platform is highly intuitive and easy to use, with a robust set of features that enable our teams to create targeted and personalized campaigns that resonate with my audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike anything about the product or the team so far Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the ease of reviewing each campaign from the Messaging page and then having the ability to double-click to understand more data about a specific campaign. I also appreciate the heatmap as we are able to see which types of content in the email resonated most with our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The confusing jargon that we need to use to create segmentations can be improved. For example, "is on or after" is a very confusing term. I think this needs to be rethought to make it easier for users. I need to utilize a diagram that one of your technical CSM uses for me to make sure I am targeting the appropriate group. As a non-technical marketer, I can use and create create campaigns and emails easily. It gives me autonomy over my work and how fast I can accomplish it. Their support team is very helpful as well when I've run into roadblocks or don't understand how to use a specific feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I think their documentation is lacking into how to actually use certain features. Their support articles say what they are, but you need to email back and forth with support to understand how to use it.
One issue that I've had a few times is duplicating blast campaigns, and the previous A/B test duplicates as well. Two times it has happened when I didn't realize it and the email went out with the wrong A/B test. They should make this more explicit - I feel it is a UX problem, not a user problem. Iterable is an easy to use, intuitive ESP. We are able to use Iterable automate our entire marketing program with dozens of campaigns and journeys, each with various dynamic fields and templates.
I'm impressed with amount of data Iterable is able to hold and reference.
Lastly, the customer support through the platform and through our account representative is always immediate and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The journey capabilities could be further built out to allow things like a send limit per day (not just per minute). We sometimes have to come up with creative workarounds for features that do not exist, such as a daily send limit.
Additionally, we would like to see better alerting built into Iterable. Right now, alerting is very limited - you can't apply specific alerts to a specific campaign. We would like to see this limitation changed to avoid the need for 3rd party services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Firstly their customer team are great. Really pleased with the level of care we get since we're not a massive customer and they're very responsive (shout out Claire). Same goes for thier support, often have to get them to do some odd requests for our quirks but they're normally very good and really fast.
As a service it does what we need it to and often without fail. Fairly easy to use, you don't have to be an developer to get something out of it. We use it for all of our event based notifications including push and email, across multuple languages as well, and that's okay to set up.
The most useful part is being able to deep dive in to the event history of any user and see exactly what they were sent. Has helped us diagnose countless bugs over time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just wish we had more time to get to grips with it. If you know how to use it you'll get a really good product out of it, without that time we've just always scraped the surface.
The language used to desrcibe the different features isn't always the clearest and it's not always obvious what is the right way to set something up until you've done it a few times to see what works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how well the CRM and the messaging section works together. We are able to send very targeted email campaigns to our customers all by using the audience segmentation. The journey program is also very easy to understand the basics of and makes it nice to build a user journey with a very visible flow map. Other softwares I have used in the past do not have a journey map available so when you are building it, it is harding to visualize the steps that the customer would be taking through the journey. Unless you are an html coder the basic wysiwyg and drag & drop email builders make it difficult to build out certain layout designs. Also wish they had a better list in the knowledge center for what personalizing handlebars are available. The support page provides good articles about personalized handlebars, but also can be difficult to put the correct versions needed into your email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Iterable has been one of the most useful platforms for our company. It enables us to send out millions of emails within a few minutes. Their transparency with system statuses and their proactive communication during outages or maintenance windows have built a strong sense of trust.
The user interface is simple and easy to us, and their support team is responsive and knowledgeable. Overall, Iterable has significantly improved our marketing operations and customer engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have a snippet API endpoint in order to streamline our internal processes. A proper sandbox environment would be extremely useful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First and foremost, Iterable's premium support via Slack is some of the best support I've ever received from a vendor. Secondly, this platform honors its name - Iterable's product development team really is constantly 'iterating' on this platform and improving it at a pace that is almost challenging to keep up with. As a whole, this tool lets us accomplish particularly custom journeys via filtering that limits our dependence on our own engineering team. Overall very satisfied with the product. Reporting is powerful but clunky/doesn't answer all of our questions and we ultimately just refer to connected data in Looker. Could also use an alerting interface given how massive the processes are that we run out of this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I find the platform pretty easy to use. I am most indulged into the automation of processes, such as through Journeys. Our experience with your customer support is mostly great as well, the team is very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the analytics could be a bit more granular. I think the platform is very well suited for bigger teams, while it makes it difficult to justify the high cost of Iterable subscription for a small indie team like ourselves, where it is mostly just 1 person operating it on part-time, with many other assignements along with the CRM tool. A smaller package for such a team would make a lot of sense for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the User experience and user-friendliness of Iterable and find it nice to look at generally. We also have the ability to do lots of things in different ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish you could delete profile fields and rename snippets. I would also like to be able to use dynamic lists with catalogs.
I think there could be UI improvements on the Experiment section within campaigns. It is kinda hard to click and see the different versions clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
