The promise of having a robust resource with sourcing, ATS, CRM all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of things that are leading to me leaving Loxo mid-year, even though I am on the hook for a full year of payments. Things I wish I had known:
Sourcing tool is not relevant to my industries. And it is finicky - even during a training they faciliated to try to get me to stay - a major company was not in their sourcing database because the name was misspelled. It is very much less effective than I had hoped. I'm willing to say some of this is my own usage - but it's just not what I hoped it would be.
Client Portal. Is not password protected and I need it to be. It has rigidity to the structure that frustrated me. It is unusable for me.
Application Form. You cannot adjust this or modify this in the way I need to. You can add forms - but not in a way that worked for me. For instance, you cannot make a note like "upload a resume and cover letter" in front of the box where applicants upload materials.
EEO Form. They do offer an EEO form that has protections for the data - BUT - it does not match the US federal form, and you cannot change it. It is unusable for me.
Customer Service. They sold me on this and said that they beat the competition on this front. And yet I was often disappointed with things like a 36 hour wait time.
Cost. Sure it's a good investment if all the component parts work. But when I can't use the application form, the EEO tool, the client portal, and I don't get what I need from sourcing... well, that's a waste of a substantial amount of money!
Individual trainers and folks were nice and tried to make it work, but I wish I had known all of this before. Plus, my staff that I've brought on just finds other systems much more intiutive. We are at the point of needing to add a seat so we are moving to a different system and just eating the cost of the rest of the year with loxo. It's not cheap! So really make sure it works for you before you confirm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked that the pricing is excellent, and that I can do outbound and inbound recruiting all in one platform. The Loxo Source database is excellent, very similar to LinkedIn boolean search.
For inbound, it integrates with Indeed and LinkedIn company page with contacting those support teams. This gets the job out all over the internet so that you get the widest funnel.
For outbound, I can do mass email campaigns and the unlimited plan is great. I can source personal emails without having to use a separate email finder like SalesQL and a separate email sequence software and a separate ATS and manually integrating them. Many other outbound recruiting softwares only allow you to add one (Gem) or 25 (Workable) prospects to a campaign at a time. But there is power in numbers, and Loxo currently allows you to add all results of a Boolean search, up to 5000 a day. Their email server Sent via Loxo is great to optimize deliverability, and they also help users optimize deliverability of their domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software has some bugs, but it is continuously improving. I am glad that the team is receptive to my suggestions for features and bug reports.
The software is a behemoth of features, so of course it is complex. It took me 1-2 weeks to go through setup and training before I became familiar with the software and its quirks enough to recruit for a position.
They strongly encourage annual contracts, but small business customers and startups definitely prefer month to month flexibility. I was able to negotiate month to month at a higher price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Loxo is a great way to keep all of your recruiting efforts in order. Whether it's company or candidate info, it's all at your fingertips - - anytime & anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I can think of right now! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Loxo does a lot of things well that someone in my industry (recruiting) would typically require a number of different products/subscriptions to achieve the same level of productivity. That adds complexity and that costs time. We most heavily utilize the outreach feature which is a systematic campaign of calls, emails, texts, and tasks. Tracking our jobs and coverage on them is also great along with the clear workflows. Loxo's user interface is also a standout feature where others can seem quite spartan or utilitarian, Loxo shines. We've also found that new users can get up to speed quite quickly on the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with anything, prices increase over time. Loxo has done a good job of increasing the feature set for the increased price, but as a business owner, the cost over time can certainly add up. This is the key software for our business though so it makes sense to have a premium product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At SellersHub we always get compliments on loxo it gives our pipelines a professional and hyper functional orgized pipeline. And that's just the beginning, we use it for so much more! Also love working with the Loxo team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, would love an ai notes feature to be added Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to create email campaigns within the program seems to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No phone numbers and rarely do they provide reliable email addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Seamlessly integrated everything through sales, recruiting interview process and placements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hmm 🤔 I'd like to be able to do more customized email that looks like a newsletter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're transitioning from a different platform, the migration and onboarding process is extremely thoughtful and dare I say - it was a flawless expreience. You get a first glance at their dedicated employees, who are so passionate about the product and services. I have never had a challenge getting in contact with their customer service. Once you're in the tool - features are endless. Not only is the UX top of the line and sure to be enjoyable for your sales people and recruiters (working in the tool all-day-every-day), but there's also campaign outreach capabilities, AI to improve your approach, sourcing capabilities, and fully customizable reporting features, and a stressfree way to customize and analyze your deal pipeline. Opportunities are endless.
As a recruiter, my favorite feature is the candidate view at the job level. Having profiles, photos, highlights, and deeper/integrated tracking of my candidates irregardless of where they are at in the process is my greatest value-add... and something that just doesn't exist on the market. There's not one thing to dislike about Loxo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy to use it is in terms of messaging - like emailing people, and attaching certain info using variables based on preset fields configured in your organization. Makes it easy to include job descriptions, company websites, job titles, or if you want to personalize them, mention their job titles, or current company. They also have an outreach campaign feature where these variables can be easily used.
That's a very common feature for sales and marketing CRMs and I love that I'm able to use it well in recruiting. Saves the hassle of thinking about what to write and trying to remember some of those details just to personalize your outreach.
On top of that, they have an easy-to-use Chrome extension for parsing LinkedIn profiles, and the usual drag-and-drop feature for local docs to create a new profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ineffective search feature. Their search function doesn't make sense to me at all. If I type Ronald, all other names like Christie, Russel, Michael, and many other names would also come up along with other people whose first or last names are Ronald. even those who are not Ronald at all. Like I said. It doesn't make sense.
I've also used other ATS and CRMs where searching using phone numbers or email addresses shows results of exact profiles of people who really own those or have those in their profiles.
How I wish Loxo was like that. That's a very important feature for a platform like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Loxo is so easy and intuitive to use. It's like the iPhone of ATS systems. Even someone who is not very technologically savvy can use it with ease, but it also has so many hidden features that someone who wants additional technology has it. The ease of implementation and integration with our other workflow took our entire office under one week.
The reporting and Ai is getting scary accurate- I don't really use LinkedIn recruiter anymore and my sourcing time is less than a few hours (it used to be weeks via LinkedI).
The customer support is better than any platform I've used. The team replies in under one hour, and they follow up if the response requires further investigation. I use Loxo every day—it's the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I have to say something, it would be the app. But in reality, who really uses an entire ATS on their phone? They have recently updated it, so it is drastically improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
