## Zoho Recruit Reviews
  ### 1. Developer-Friendly Email Platform with Consistent Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VINAY P. | Mechanical Design Engineer, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

What I like best about Mailgun is the reliability of email delivery and the amount of visibility it provides into email performance. I mainly used it for transactional emails, notifications, and automated workflow communication where consistent delivery really matters. The delivery logs and tracking tools made troubleshooting much easier compared to basic SMTP services.

One feature that helped a lot was the detailed event tracking. Being able to quickly check delivered, opened, failed, or bounced emails saved time during issue analysis instead of manually verifying logs. The API documentation is also well structured, which made integration smoother without spending excessive time on setup. I also appreciate how flexible the routing and domain management options are when handling different types of email workflows.

Another benefit I noticed was the stability under regular usage. Once configured properly, it handled automated communication consistently without requiring much maintenance. Compared to earlier manual follow-up processes, automated notifications became more dependable and reduced missed communication significantly. The dashboard is fairly clean, and the suppression and validation features helped improve overall email quality as well.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

One area that could improve is the initial onboarding experience for users who are not deeply familiar with DNS records and email authentication. Domain verification, SPF, DKIM, and routing setup can feel slightly technical during the first implementation. A more guided setup workflow would make onboarding easier for smaller teams.

The reporting section is useful, but deeper analytics and visualization could be more intuitive. Sometimes locating specific logs or filtering older events requires extra navigation steps. Pricing can also increase quickly as usage scales, especially when additional validation or higher-volume sending is required. While the platform is powerful, some advanced functionality feels more developer-oriented than business-user-oriented.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Mailgun, automated email communication was less reliable and difficult to monitor. Tracking delivery issues manually across systems consumed time, and troubleshooting failed notifications was inconsistent. We also lacked centralized visibility into email status and engagement.

After implementing Mailgun, transactional and workflow-based emails became more structured and dependable. Automated alerts, confirmations, and system notifications could be monitored in real time, which reduced communication gaps and improved response consistency. The searchable logs and event tracking significantly reduced troubleshooting effort because delivery status could be verified immediately instead of manually investigating failures.

The biggest benefit has been operational reliability and time savings. Automated communication workflows now require less manual intervention, email failures are easier to diagnose, and overall workflow efficiency improved because users receive updates more consistently.

  ### 2. Clunky Tool Despite Platform Potential

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariano B. | Hiring Manager / Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

I liked the careers page in Zoho Recruit because it was highly customizable and provided a professional, user-friendly experience for applicants. The platform also made it easy to track candidates throughout the hiring process, manage applications efficiently, and keep recruitment workflows organized in one place.

Another strong point was the centralized applicant management system. Having resumes, communication history, and candidate updates accessible in a single platform helped simplify collaboration and reduced the amount of manual follow-up needed during recruitment.

That said, the platform often felt sluggish. Pages could take a long time to load, and updates or workflow actions were sometimes slow to process. This negatively impacted the overall user experience, especially when handling a high volume of applicants or trying to move quickly between tasks.

Because of these performance issues, I was also hesitant to rely on the AI-powered features. While the tools seemed promising, the lack of responsiveness made it difficult to fully trust or integrate them into my workflow, so I ended up avoiding them altogether.

In terms of pricing, Zoho Recruit felt significantly overpriced for the experience provided. While the platform offers a solid set of features and customization options, the performance limitations made it harder to justify the cost compared to other recruiting and applicant tracking solutions on the market.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

I was not too happy with it. The recruitment module itself was clunky and hard to use. Setting automations for the pipeline was difficult. Integrating calendars was difficult as well. It felt like everything was too much trouble. The initial setup was a difficult process with a poor end result.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit helps me keep track of applicants and receive their applications. The highly customizable career page offers a good experience to applicants.

  ### 3. Promising recruiting platform with many useful features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio B. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Zoho Recruit seems well organized and makes it easier to manage candidate information in one place. Even during the trial period, it looks like a useful tool to keep resumes structured and searchable. I also like that the interface is quite clear and that it offers many features to manage the recruitment process.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Since I am still testing the platform, some parts take a bit of time to fully understand. There are many features available, so the first setup can feel a little complex at the beginning. I believe it becomes easier once you start using it regularly.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main reasons we started testing Zoho Recruit was to better organize the resumes we already have and the new candidates we receive. We often conduct interviews, so having a structured system to store and search candidate information can make the process more efficient. The platform helps centralize candidate data and could make it easier to manage recruitment activities over time.

  ### 4. Keeps our hiring organized and easy to track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Zoho Recruit helps me keep job openings and candidates in one place, so I don’t have to manage things on paper or in separate files.I work as a Clinic Manager, Dietician & Nutritionist and I also handle basic hiring for our clinic when we need new staff. Creating a job opening is simple, and I can clearly see which stage each candidate is in.

The initial setup did not feel complicated. I was able to start posting roles and adding candidates without needing technical help. I usually open it only when we are actively hiring, so I don’t use it every day, but whenever needed it feels familiar and easy to navigate.

The layout is easy to understand, so shortlisting and planning interviews does not feel confusing. It connects well with email, which makes communication and follow-ups smoother. Over time, tracking candidates and reviewing their progress has felt more organized compared to how we earlier managed everything through calls and notes. For a small clinic setup, it keeps the hiring process clear and structured without making it complicated.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

It would be helpful if the navigation between job openings and candidate profiles felt a little smoother. Also, a clearer reminder before leaving a page with unsaved changes would avoid small mistakes.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit keeps all hiring details in one place, so I don’t have to track candidates in notebooks or random files. I can quickly see which roles are active and who has applied without getting confused. It helps me follow a simple flow for shortlisting and planning next steps, which is useful when I’m handling clinic work at the same time. I also find it easier to go back and check past applications instead of searching through old messages.
Overall, it reduces back and forth and saves small bits of time whenever we need to hire.

  ### 5. Easy-to-Navigate ATS with Strong Candidate Tracking and Career Site Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Unwauyin A. | Human Resources Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

As a first time user of an ATS, I have found Zoho Recruit to be easy to navigate. The job opening feature makes it easy to track candidates and I like the fact that I'm able to customize my career site.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Just the pricing especially when you are scaling up

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of manually searching for candidates if I were to use a spreadsheet. It makes job posting easy too especially because I have templates that I can customize. The issue of manually typing out emails when candidates apply or when they are rejected is also something I appreciate greatly.

  ### 6. Zoho Recruit: End-to-End ATS + CRM That Fits Your Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn T. | Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

What I like most about Zoho Recruit is that it gives me a true end‑to‑end ATS and recruitment CRM in one place, without the price tag or complexity of a typical “enterprise” system. I can model my actual recruiting workflows with custom pipelines, fields, and automation rules, so the software reflects how my desk runs instead of forcing me into a rigid template. The ability to track both candidates and clients, run outreach campaigns, and see performance analytics inside the same platform has made my process faster and more predictable.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

The biggest downside is the initial setup and configuration curve if you want to fully leverage automations and customization. There are a lot of options and settings, and it took time to streamline views, fields, and workflows so the interface didn’t feel cluttered when handling high‑volume pipelines. Some of the AI and parsing capabilities are good but not flawless, so complex CVs still need a quick manual review.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall my experience with Zoho Recruit has been very positive; it has become the operational hub of my recruiting business. It handles job requisitions, candidate pipelines, client CRM, and reporting in a way that supports both day‑to‑day execution and longer‑term relationship building. Once I invested the time to configure pipelines and automation rules around my niche, the system noticeably reduced manual follow‑up and context switching between tools. For a solo or small agency recruiter who wants enterprise‑style capability at a reasonable cost, Zoho Recruit feels like a strong, scalable choice

  ### 7. Zoho Recruit Makes Hiring Easy with Smart Automation and Smooth Zoho Integrations

The interface is user-friendly, so it doesn’t take much time to learn, and the automation features save a lot of manual effort, especially when it comes to follow-ups and resume screening. It also integrates well with other Zoho apps, which makes the workflow smoother and more organized.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

What I dislike about Zoho Recruit is that sometimes the interface feels a bit cluttered and not very intuitive, especially when you’re trying to find specific features. The customization options can be confusing and take time to set up properly. Also, some advanced features are only available in higher plans, which can be limiting. At times, the system can feel a bit slow, and the reporting section could be more detailed and easier to use.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of managing the entire recruitment process in a scattered and unorganized way. Earlier, handling resumes, tracking candidate status, and coordinating interviews used to take a lot of manual effort and time.

With Zoho Recruit, everything is centralized, so I can easily track candidates, manage job postings, and schedule interviews in one place. It reduces manual work through automation, improves communication with candidates, and helps me stay organized. This ultimately saves time, increases efficiency, and makes the hiring process smoother and more professional.

The customer support has been very helpful; whenever we ran into some blocks, they were there to help us.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Additionally, it is beneficial because it allows me to send the date, client, interview name, and candidate information, and have everything recorded on my system.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

What I think should be enhanced is the interface because sometimes it can feel cluttered or overwhelming. Also, the initial setup was a little bit tough and I had to look for documentation.

I love how you can customize the recruitment pipeline to track exactly what's happening at each stage. ### 19. Automated Hiring Simplified with Smooth Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shareena B. | Founder, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

I really appreciate how Zoho Recruit has made things easier for my team with its automations and easier dashboards, giving us a bird's eye view and making it simpler to provide updates to the founders. The Blueprint feature is especially impressive because once we set it up, our entire process was automated, allowing us not to have to lift a finger. This is particularly helpful because at our marketing agency, where we have a lot of hiring on a daily basis, it ensures we don't miss reverting to any candidate, whether it's for acceptance or rejection. The initial setup process was smooth, with support from a relationship manager who provided onboarding sessions, making the whole experience easy for us.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

It works well but since we had like a lot of candidates on our database, after a point it started to lag a little but wasn't much of an issue.

Zoho Recruit automates our hiring process, providing an easier dashboard and a comprehensive view for updates. The Blueprint feature automates responses to candidates, ensuring no missed communications, which makes the hiring process much smoother for my team.

  ### 20. Powerful Core Features, but Advanced Settings Could Be Easier to Navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soykot R. | Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

The platform is excellent for organizing high-volume recruitment for roles like our Junior Accountant position. I specifically like how easy it is to manage batches of CVs from external agencies and keep them organized in specific folders. The user interface is intuitive, making it simple to track candidate progress at a glance.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

While the platform is powerful, some of the advanced settings for account management are tucked away in deep menus. A more simplified 'Quick Settings' dashboard for everyday administrative tasks would improve the speed of the workflow.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit acts as a centralized 'source of truth' for our hiring. It solves the problem of fragmented communication by allowing our team to see all candidate statuses and notes in one place.
The Resume Parser has been a huge benefit, saving us hours of manual data entry by automatically extracting details from CVs. This has streamlined our workflow for the Junior Accountant role, allowing us to move from 'CV Received' to 'Interview Scheduled' much faster than before. It ensures no high-quality applicant gets lost in an inbox.

  ### 21. Comprehensive Features at a Great Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betrys Ann B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

I use Zoho Recruit for employee onboarding, resume parsing, and employee tracking, among other things. I appreciate that it manages to properly perform these features all in a single space, rather than needing to use multiple platforms, which helps to implement them easily. I like the part where it offers all these features for a good price. Employee tracking and background checking work especially well. The initial setup of Zoho Recruit was pretty easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

I find that the AI interview platform is not available in Zoho Recruit, and adding it would be a bonus for the company.

  ### 22. A good starter ATS for organizing recruitment efficiently

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos A. | CEO - Lead Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

What I liked most was how quickly I could start using it without deep technical knowledge. The ease of use is solid once you understand the basic flow — creating job openings, adding candidates, and moving them through the process feels structured and logical. Even though I only used the free trial, I was able to test core features like email templates, pipeline tracking, and interview scheduling. The ease of integration with other Zoho apps is also a plus for anyone already in that ecosystem. Overall, it’s a practical solution for small HR teams or consultants who need something simple but reliable.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Since I only tested the free version, some of the more advanced features were locked, which limited the evaluation. The number of menus and settings can be confusing at first, making the ease of implementation less straightforward for beginners. The design is functional but could be more modern visually. Some integrations require additional setup or paid tiers, and certain reports are not accessible in the trial. I used it several times a week and found it stable, but the navigation between modules can feel a bit heavy. Customer Support was helpful, though response times varied depending on the channel.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool allows me to provide our clients with faster service by enabling me to review CVs more quickly and thoroughly. Additionally, it helps us manage candidates more efficiently and send out communications to them at a much faster pace.

The functionality is easy to understand, which reduces frustration and makes it easier to work with, allowing for greater success.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Well, the AI functionality, I think, you know, it's nowhere. AI is new to everyone, and I think it should be a little bit more functional.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit solves our organizational problems by keeping all information in one place. It maintains our applicant tracking, resume database, interview dates, feedback, and client details, which is crucial for tracking candidates effectively.

  ### 24. Intuitive and Efficient, but Possible Improvement on Data Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

I use Zoho Recruit to categorize my candidates, record my client information, and create client needs. Zoho combines CRM and ATS into a single tool, it is very user-friendly, easy to use, and customizable. I particularly appreciate the automatic scanning of key data on resumes, which represents a real time saver. The initial setup of Zoho Recruit was very simple, done independently, and the software is intuitive even if we are not IT experts.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Some data on the modules cannot be deleted. I would like to be able to freely delete irrelevant data.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zoho Recruit to categorize my candidates and record my client information. It combines CRM and ATS in a single tool, is easy to use, customizable, and the automatic scanning of key data on resumes is a real time saver.

Its segmentation filter makes it easy to filter the departments on the basis of Name, Leads or any associated tags. One can also assign the specific permissions based on the users. Customizations are also possible.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Reaching out to customer support is a cumbersome process. Although you will get all the relevant help articles on the platform itself but just in case if you need to talk to support then you have to navigate extensively in order to find the right option.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides access level permissions to users which made it easy to provide specific permissions to different team members based on their seniority. The initial setup was also very easy, which is always a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

I think that something in the UX can be improved, like the UI for viewing the applicants. It would be helpful to split the window with two panes, one for the applicants on the left and the details on the right. Maybe the pricing, especially for the lower plans, could be better.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit makes the hiring process easier by organizing the pipeline from applying to hiring, managing talent pools, and handling rejections. I value the ease and organization it provides, and I use it for reviewing and filtering applicants while collaborating with hiring managers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CHRISTOPHER D. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Zoho Recruit made it incredibly easy for us to launch Raven Indigenous Staffing, an Indigenous-owned recruiting agency based in Canada. The setup was fast, and the automation tools save us hours every week. I love how we can post jobs, manage candidates, and track clients all in one place. The integration with Zoho Books and Zoho Mail keeps everything connected, and the customizable workflows give our small team the same level of efficiency as larger firms. The support team is also responsive and helpful whenever we have questions.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

Some of the menus and settings can feel a bit cluttered at first, especially when managing multiple pipelines or custom fields. It takes a little time to get familiar with where everything is. However, once you get past the learning curve, it’s smooth and very capable.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit has streamlined our entire hiring process. It lets us easily manage candidate pipelines for both government and private-sector roles, automate communication, and stay organized with compliance documentation. As a new Indigenous-owned staffing company, it’s helped us build a professional and efficient recruitment process without needing a large HR department.

  ### 30. Powerful Platform, But with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel C. | Co-Founder

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

I really like the client portal platform of Zoho Recruit. It is the only one on the market that offers a client portal, and for recruitment agencies or consultancies, this feature is essential for organizing delivery in a substantial way.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

The general interface of Zoho Recruit is very complex and presents many options at all levels, which requires detailed configuration at every stage of the recruitment process. This results in a steep learning curve and requires dedicated time for everything to happen correctly. Also, the extraction of resumes from LinkedIn is done manually, despite the existence of an extension for this.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit offers a unique client portal in the market, which organizes recruitment processes well, essential for recruitment agencies or consultancies.

  ### 31. Great Features, Flexible Setup, but Needs a Modern Refresh

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Zoho Recruit really stands out with its AI-powered features, automation, and excellent CV parsing, which save a huge amount of time when handling large numbers of candidates. The flexibility to configure workflows to match our processes was also a big advantage, letting us customize the system instead of adapting our methods to the software. We also valued the many integration options, which helped us connect Zoho Recruit seamlessly with the other tools in our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

The main drawbacks we noticed were around usability and accessibility. The user interface feels outdated and not as intuitive as modern alternatives, which can slow down daily use. The pipeline management tools, while effective, could be designed in a more visual and user-friendly way. Additionally, the language management features in the lower-priced plans are quite limited, which can be frustrating for teams working across multiple regions.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit has helped us address several key challenges in our hiring process. Before, we spent a lot of time on manual data entry and candidate tracking, but with AI support and superb CV parsing, we can now process large volumes of applications quickly and accurately. It has also solved the issue of disconnected workflows, since its integration options allow us to connect recruitment directly with other tools we use, reducing duplication of work.

  ### 32. Efficient Hiring Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi S. | HR Trainee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Easy ATS and review system make the hiring process more efficient by helping to minimize manual errors. This approach supports talent acquisition by ensuring good candidates are selected and maintaining reliable records of data throughout the process. Its quite easy to integrate into the existing system and I like the customer support reaching out on time.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

There isn’t anything in particular that stands out, but I think having an easy-to-use user manual or an AI bot would make things more interactive and user-friendly, especially for introverts. This could also support self-learning and help users keep up with new features on their own.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using a manual ATS was challenging, but this app has made things much easier. It not only solved the problem of documentation, but also streamlined interview scheduling and applicant filtering, making it much simpler to find the right fit.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

The interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand. In contrast, the previous ATS we were using made it difficult to navigate and search for information, which often caused us a hard time when trying to find what we needed.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

The plan pricing feels a bit expensive compared to other companies that offer the same services.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our problem with tracking and managing candidate status, and the user-friendly interface makes it easier for us to use the software efficiently and stay on top of updates.

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

I really like the fact that you can set up assessment questions that candidates complete before they come to an interview. I also really like the jobs board.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

The language used on the application page isn't very intuitive. It says 'I'm interested' on the button, and it would be nice if you could change it to 'apply now' or 'apply here.' You can change it via sending an email, but I don't think that's a good use of time.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoho Recruit makes recruiting candidates much faster, helps us secure all candidate data in one place, and allows us to manage all communications centrally.

The security controls and user access management are strong, ensuring data protection for both candidates and recruiters.

**What do you like best about Zoho Recruit?**

Zoho recruit is great for me as a one-man recruitment agency. It offers so much of what I need. It will post jobs, manage applications, parse CVs/resumes and work with the rest of the Zoho universe of products with ease. For me, it takes a lot of the hassle out of the process of working with the software.

**What do you dislike about Zoho Recruit?**

It feels like it is designed for in-house teams over recruitment agencies. which is not the end of the world, however, it does mean that you will end up having to customise the software when you first onboard the software.

**What problems is Zoho Recruit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves three problems. Storing my database of candidates. Manages the recruitment application process and helps me to advertise jobs with east.
