It has been very helpful in reading information off of PDF factsheets in the clinical field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the pages are not all similar and so it makes it hard for the AI to read the information correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is pretty intuitive for most folks that have some experience with modern software design. It's also relatively easy to work with Impira through its API as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have more sense of the time it takes for reprocessing and whatnot. Also, the docs could use a bit more work to include errors expected, rather than just the functionality pieces; for a lot of automation, using Impira as a 3rd party, there's going to be additional logic that we need to account for downstream. Text, Number formats from the scanned files are getting automatically recongnized and got extracted when we manually educate the software by extracting one file.
Impira is very helpful incase of bulk file analysis or information search. There are no limits we can upload n number of files into the single collection and get results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we extract information, occasionally, the texts or numbers are extracted as Symbols. This is maybe an unrecognized font type.
Things gets wild when there are slight changes in position of the texts too. Most of the times the results are partial, when the location of the text alters to few mm, it couldn't pick or picking some other text on the location.
The pdf files are not rotatable, we need to convert or rotate offline and upload it again. Adobe functionalities like Measure, Sign can be implemented with some extensions or plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our customers need us to extract structured data from a strikingly inconsistent set of documents, and we could not do it without Impira. Meanwhile, they're really attentive to our support needs and receptive to feature requests. Again, there's no alternative to Impira if you're trying to embed document processing in your product. We were trying to make it work with Rossum and paid for a year (and it was horribly expensive) and got nothing in return. We never spent the 100 man hours to annotate 500 documents to train their AI. With Impira, you have a trained AI after annotating a single document. I suppose that's the cherry on top. I'm an engineer, however, and I benefit primarily from how easy it is to embed their service in our system - via API and webhooks, etc. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Hmm. Life might be easier if... writing IQL was easier? Maybe more documentation. IQL being a proprietary query language we're using to "munge" some inconsistent data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease and simplicity of the data extraction process. We process so much data, we needed an easier way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, it takes a bit of programming to make these things work...can't do anything about that! So nothing at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to configure and train to get your desired OCR outputs. Provides appropriate API webhooks to configure externally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The accuracy of the result takes a hit sometimes. Its static hence unable to adjust to slight changes if there are any. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well implemented key-value and template-based data extraction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Strict binding of configuration to page coordinates (except for template-based data detection), not elastic table detection/extraction, not following the document structure (titles hierarchy etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use. It complements the ML tool we use for cost optimization. We extracted unstructured data, and it was a manual process; to some extent, we could minimize that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Probably need more enhancement to consider the variables associated with Engineering drawings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The visual interface to train the layout and data elements of each collection is very well-designed and easy to use; webhooks work well for our integration; auto-assigning documents to their collections is valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we run into some delays parsing documents and receiving data back but it's rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Impira allows for targeted marketing, branding, and efficient connection among a team. Looking at the data that lies in various of forms of media is very beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Impira has many levels of pricing, however there is not a true level of individualization for team members or a team that doesn't quite fit the mold of the current plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
