What do you like best about Laserfiche?

Laserfiche takes the guesswork out of managing your documents. It shines a light on the benefit of a centralized document management system versus a network drive or other cloud-based storage. I also like the automation aspect, that is available in Workflow, that automates file storage and records management in the repository, and the automation found in Forms that automates the processing of forms, and their movement from person to person in an organization. What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

Recommendations to others considering Laserfiche:

There is no other market tool that provides a system that manages a document's life cycle as completely as Laserfiche. When considering their system, make sure to look at the Workflow piece, Laserfiche Forms, and Records Management as part of your solution; they work so well together that it is difficult to think of using their system without those pieces. We are taking people out of the document management process. The primary benefit is that people can focus on more value-adding work instead of spending time tracking paper, filing paper, and storing paper. What do you like best about Laserfiche?

What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

Sometimes the upgrades will disrupt workflows. It can also be a lot for new users to learn, but Laserfiche provides a lot of free training videos and documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to scan rooms-full-of-boxes of documents into an online repository with the ability to search, modify the documents, track security and use them in business processes. What do you like best about Laserfiche?

Laserfiche is an extremely robust solution, allowing us to create solutions for every business process challenge we've tackled to date. The company is extremely responsive, with an active online community. If you have any doubt, Google "Laserfiche Answers" to see the quantity and quality of information available. If you don't have any coding knowledge, you can still create simple forms/processes. But if you do, this product allows you to get super fancy with your designs. We regularaly use Laserfiche Forms, Laserfiche Workflow, and Laserfiche Repository. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

The only thing I can think that Laserfiche could improve on is the ability to link separate business processes together (to run together or otherwise link). The ability to launch one business process from within another would be a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Laserfiche?

There are a few things that I like about Laserfiche. One would be the common sense logic that it uses for all of Laserfiche's suite of products. I inherited my company's Laserfiche environment from the previous system administrator and it was very easy to get up to speed with running Laserfiche. You can do anything and everything from an automation standpoint that you need to do. The other thing is Laserfiche's extensive list of support and resources for people such as myself, who never had that much experience with the software and can reach out for assistance at any given time. Not only that, but all of the resources are top quality and reputable. I am very big on customer service and Laserfiche marks very high in that regard. Our organization uses Laserfiche daily and it has become very integral in all of our day-to-day tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

Some things in Laserfiche are stand alone and it would be nice to have a central hub for everything. Just how the Laserfiche repository holds all the data there, it would be nice to have an admin console that controls all aspects of the Laserfiche environment in one place. The only other thing would be with the elearning platform that there should be a standard Laserfiche course that is offered to all of its customers. I think this would help in giving everyone the same ground level experience and similar point of reference with Laserfiche users. As well, this would help promote the Laserfiche learning tracks to become certified Gold, Platinum or whatever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?

Less clutter and more organization by using this paperless system. Seamless processes for previously mundane or redundant processes. The easy implementation of Laserfiche architecture and being able to deploy business wide. Finally, being able to access all the information that you need in one central, secure repository is a great thing that people take for granted, until a solution comes along and provides the option for you. What do you like best about Laserfiche?

No mattery what issue/task/problem my departments come to me with, I can immediately find a way for Laserfiche to solve it. Laserfiche has near limitless "solvability" built into it. Ranging from simple forms that collect simple data, to advanced forms that execute workflows that store data in tables and then creates a customized PDF based on a template and word merge fields.

Outside of public-facing interactivity, it also has the ability to automate redundant tasks inside the repository.

What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

Unfortunately as much as I want to love the modern designer, it simply does not have the functionality as the classic designer. CSS and JS cannot transition 1 to1, and so I am continually forced to work in the classic designer - which is not a bad thing as that is what I was "brought up" on. I hope LF 12 allows classic CSS and JS code to transition seamlessly to the modern designer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Laserfiche?

Workflow - version 11 has made creating forms and workflows so much easier. Drap and drop to create forms and coding workflows are 90% from a picker making it easy enough for almost anyone to create workflows.

What do you dislike about Laserfiche?

Non-responsives on direct emails. No followup by certain employees. No customizable views in monitor.

I want to move to the cloud, but I don't want to lose functionality. Cloud or prem - features should be the same - ALWAYS. Don't make us choose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Laserfiche?

We love using Laserfiche. It is an extremely safe storage opportunity for employee and donor files that are not to be accessed by anyone unnecessary. We have staff that use this on a daily basis for their role. Implementing and administering it is very simple, especially when staff accidentally make changes they did not mean to. Customer support is wonderful when we run into something that we have a difficult time supporting ourselves. The cost is something we do consider often due to being a non-profit and the amount of staff we would like to be able to access at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Laserfiche solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is ensuring the safety of files being stored and able to access by only those who should be able to. While I understand that active directory and network drives can accomplish this, there is just too much sensitive information in employee paperwork and donor information that cannot be at risk to a possible incident of unauthorized access. What do you like best about Laserfiche?

I like the automation and workflow designer. This platform is very easy to understand for the end user. With workflows, our users can use it day after day as their go to for all work documents. Our users love the integration with Outlook to quickly save attachments directly to a particular folder within Laserfiche.
