What do you like best about Xtremepush?

With over a decade of working in the digital marketing/CRM space, I've had the opportunity to use a number of customer engagement platforms (Braze, Pushwoosh, Urban Airship, etc...).

What makes XtremePush one of the best platforms that I have worked with is that it has all of the flexibility needed to create even the most complex user journeys while remaining quite easy and intuitive to use. Beyond that, I am quite impressed with the level of service that we receive from the XP team -- always quick to assist whenever there are questions or issues. What do you dislike about Xtremepush?

Really just minor issues -- some of the workflows in the platform could be made a little easier to operate, but no major complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Xtremepush?

That data collection can be obtained in real-time, allowing for personalisation of communications, helps in building segments/audiences, and keeps data, including subscription data (which we previously had to look up & import manually with our previous CRM provider) up to date in real-time. What do you dislike about Xtremepush?

- Reporting: some insights are tough to report on e.g. button clicks & closes for onsite pop ups/alerts. The analysis provides a breakdown of all sends and clicks but at a generic level. Also, does not segment by customer in analysis of campaign comparison so we cannot exclude test users from this data. Use case has been raised to our AM.

The only other bits I dislike about the platform are technical related but are reoccurring/ongoing issues:

- Caching issues: adding a new site often has caching issues which has produced issues with web push being offered when turned off. Temporary fixes have been suggested and applied.

- User project permissions: Have been unable to assign users to specific projects since onboarding. Have to raise requests to support to action.

- Applying onsite templates: have had issues when the applied template for a campaign (onsite only) has not overridden the previous content correctly. Requires manual intervention and correction via the source code to meet the requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xtremepush solving and how is that benefiting you?

offers a variety of communication channels that can be used in real time. if the tool is used correctly the benefits are very high. also the tool itself is very user friendly and quite intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

perhaps not as intuitive as other tools but once you get used to it it's fine. like any other tools it takes a bit of time to adjust. their support is very responsive so that compensates (and some of them are quite technical which is is something you don't always see in other companies) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we engaged with XP primarily for the usage of push notifications, pop ups, web push and internal inbox. within time they have expanded a lot and now offering a more comprehensive crm product. we are now planning to expand our scope and integrating also other channels as well as promotional integration so we can use the tools as a comprehensive crm solution. i am looking forward to this project being up and running. What do you like best about Xtremepush?

It's fast and simple to use. messages are easy to copy and update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xtremepush?

If a message has multiple language options and needs to update one small detail from every language. This needs to be done one by one. With the earlier version, we had a possibility to use 3rd party "Search and Replace" Chrome extension to do that, now after the version update we need to manually all changes.

Would be nice also to be able to amend already live messages. After message has been sentout, we can delete it but not amend the content of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Xtremepush solving and how is that benefiting you?

Unfortunately the earlier version was better for our kind of business. We manage multiple languages at the same time and with the earlier version we were able to use Chrome extension called Find & Replace. When editing terms and conditions in Xtreme Push, we now need manually find amount of Free spins / game names / max winnings / what ever is changed from all languages and replace it. With that F&R we were able to find e.g. 30€ and change it from every language to 50€ easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Xtremepush?

The account management service has been very good. The willingness to look for solutions (contractual, technical, etc) has been a very positive experience. Plus, when we had to delay payment due to the intricacies of taxation in Zambia, the XP as a whole were very accommodating Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xtremepush?

The price for Africa is quite prohibitive - both general services and for SMS.

SMS is our main comms channel and going through third-party gateways rather than direct to the mobile providers has added significant cost per SMS. I am not sure how "Africa-ready" XP is as a company - the higher volume of players at a significantly reduced margin per player compared to other related gambling markets

As I highlighted in our feedback session, also if you don't use the full segmentation services that they offer, and just their comms channels, the company doesn't seem to be geared up so much - for example, the analytics package included in the monthly fee we pay is not good enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Xtremepush?

As a company who sends out high volume bulk emails to our clients I find this platform meets and exceeds our needs for carrying out the task; and also for reporting. The UI is simple and well laid out. The A/B split send is a great feature and helps streamline and save time when sending out larger volume sends. I like the range of reporting options. - Allows us to contact high numbers of clients easily and quickly and convey critical information/messaging.

- Allows us to gain insights into what messaging works most effectively and tweak it the content accordingly.

- Allows us to guage and compile information on essential analytics, click rates, open rates etc.

- Allows us to reduce calls to our call centre through our messaging.

XP is highly user-friendly, and its ability to combine many channels (Email, web push, inbox, SMS, etc) into a single campaign is unparalleled. The sole drawback we ever, from a technical integration perspective, had is the integration of xtremepush on extraordinary structures (android, iOS, responsive web) however even if we locate ourselves struggling with integration & testing, their client guide is handy nonstop and resolves the problem virtually immediately.
