What do you like best about Workfront?

I like the home page where I can customize what I want to view. I had my project list where it notified me if a project was in different status allowing me to know where things were at without needing to open each project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

I disliked, and it might have been user error but I could not figure out how to work aorund it. When we deleted a field in a template for the issue brief that was no longer needed for future projects, it would delete the field from older projects where that field was needed and we would lose data. Therefore we would need to keep old fields and making issue brief long to go through and fill out, because we werent able to delete a field no longer needed. What do you like best about Workfront?

Workfront enabled my team to track many different projects and ensure resourcing was being evenly distributed to ensure projects could be finished in time. It allowed for collaboration from outside teams to input information about evolving priorities and create custom dashboard views for stakeholders. The Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

With the types of projects we were working on that could have a fast turnaround time it was difficult for team members to keep up on entering completion dates. The interface for enterting dates was slightly cumbersome and for those who needed to enter dates for multiple activities at once it was not easy. There were some projects we tried to use workfront for but teams did not adopt it and opted for simpler systems as it was slightly too detailed in the types of inputs and maintance it required to be useful. What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workfront provided a system to manage work across a large team, ensure resources were properly distributed to acomplish work that needed to be completed quickly, and provide key metrics on process performance by tracking information like turnaround time. The tool was used for tracking routine processing of samples submitted to a lab and for R&D projects. WIthin the organization workfront was built to be fit-to-purpose for a number of activities which was helpful in a start up environment where science was constantly evolving. What do you like best about Workfront?

I like that I can use easily Workfront to manage the projects that I have within my company. It has been easy to integrate it within our day-to-day activities and we implemented most of it's functions to the tasks that we do daily. I use it very frequently just as the rest of Adobe tools to optimize my work. I haven't have the need to contact the customer support team, but I am confident that if I do, I can obtain good assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

The best thing about workfront is that is it the foundation of the content supply chain while providing a centralised and transparent workflow system for all teams to collaborate, but all use the tool in the best way for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

I'd love workfront planning to be more connected to Core workfront without the use of Fusion but I am sure that is coming down the line. Same with a unified approval experience which I know was announced today, so looking forward to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

It’s a fully customizable solution with a great automation tool (Fusion). You can build almost any workflow need, and includes a proofing tool, which is unique for many PM tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

To get achieve robust reporting, automation and intake, integration support is often needed, at an added cost. A lot of features require additional coding to do what I often think should be an out of the box feature. It’s also not very user friendly, so you’ll need a skilled System Admin to tailor the product to make it as easy as possible for your users. Multiple departments can benefit from using Workfront to be more efficient and optimize current processes with ease.

Workfront customer engagement teams should do more outreach to current clients about utilization opportunities to expand their use of the platform. Workfront has solved, and has the ability to solve, lots of problems and processes within our organization and different departments. What do you like best about Workfront?

It`s great for planning marketing strategies and coordinating with other groups. The simplicity of the tools enable us to work efficiently without having to learn how to utilize a tool. It took very little time for our team to work efficiently with it. Also customer support was simple and quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

Because I use mostly Microsoft products, I was looking for simple integration to utilize PowerBI. It`s not simple to push the data with a third party app. Also we templates in Microsoft planner or projects we would like to use to continue using our internal best practices. It`s providing a simple tool to keep track of our tasks and easy for new users to use. Also it is visually interesting which makes it fun to work with. What do you like best about Workfront?

Adobe is known for the vast array of programs and applications under their brand and Workfront is no different. Creative Suite programs are usually all interconnected so having something like Workfront brings a different depth to the ecosystem that Adobe offers. What do you dislike about Workfront?

The one thing I don't like about Workfront is the lack of simplicity. There is a definitely a learning curve that isn't present in other project management programs. The amount of tools they offer you is nice, but I found myself getting lost with the amount I could actually do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?

Like any project management software, I feel its important to do the bare minimum first. Anything beyond that is what you are essentially pay for. Workfront should do the bare minimum for our company, which is manage projects and tasks in an efficient manner. I think it's met that standard especially in a fast changing environment where people are constantly updating their statuses. Workfront copes well with our level of pace. Both on a macro and micro level. However, the complexity of the software can go beyond me. I often find myself referring to our project manager for help regarding layouts or how to visualize certain portions of a project space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

Workfront has been our project management solution for years. I really think it is a wonderful tool that allows us to track feedback of our stakeholders and easily get approvals. The best part is the tracking of the updates, the tracking of the amount of jobs, the amount of hours etc. We do thousands of jobs a year and this tool can easily meet that quantity. What do you dislike about Workfront?

Implementation is complicated - I wish we had someoone that was assigned to just be the Workfront manager. We're also looking at utilizing their DAM feature, but have not been able to integrate that. We had difficulty in tracking project progress and resource allocation where workfront was able to provide real-time visibility into project timelines, tasks, and resource utilization.   We had challenges in communication and collaboration whereas workfront allows commenting, file sharing, and real-time updates.
