What do you like best about Workfront?

Before Workfront my Marketing department struggled to communicate marketing tasks with multiple people in multiple locations. We researched several tools before deciding that WF had the best processes, workflow and reports for a creative department. The proofing tool alone is first rate. What do you dislike about Workfront?

The least helpful is the training on using the tool. I hate question forums where other people can answer your question and you have to search for the answer. Also-- onboarding is a series of self-guided recordings. The worst way for me to learn. Customer support is fair- the actual people are great but the process is weird- not just anyone call call or inquire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

I discovered Workfront a while ago, and I didn't know such a platform existed. It is definitely the reference in the Marketing field in terms of software and services. There is no need to look further; you have everything you need!! My team and I have plans to use it even more to help with the project management tool research! What do you dislike about Workfront?

For now, I haven't come up with anything I dislike! I would say the only thing is probably that there is so many choices that I didn't have the time to look at all of it, I can't wait to do so! With Workfront we were able to find the best platform that suits our need and allow us to work more efficiently as a team! It allows everyone to be more focus on their project while maintaining good communication withing the team. What do you like best about Workfront?

What I like most about Workfront is how practical and complete it is for project management. Its structure makes it easy to organize tasks, assign responsibilities, and track progress, which improves teamwork and optimizes delivery times. What I dislike about Workfront is that it’s not very intuitive and requires a lot of programming to customize. While it’s a powerful tool, setting up workflows and tailoring it to specific needs can be quite complex and time-consuming. What do you like best about Workfront?

Adobe Workfront is one of the best tools I have come across to manage my work, I can monitor growth in real time and this software has helped me a lot in tracking each phase of my project and helped in effectively coordinating with my team members.

The app is frustrating due to its ability to handle user errors and occasional issues with clients or sales representatives.

However, the problem is usually fix that same day and sometimes it is user error and not the program at all.

What do you like best about Workfront?

On the other hand workfront offers a lot of features, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially foe new users. The interface might take some time to get used to. In addititon, setting up the system and customizing it according to team's requirement can take little time. What do you like best about Workfront?

I think the ability to access projects by different team members and stakeholders along with the ability to scale back how much and how little you customize the features makes this software essential for any project and quick to integrate into your daily routine. We noticed how efficient we got and how there was no better way to organize projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

I feel like the ability to review design projects or video projects from within Workfront are never as good as advertised. Any company that uses this software is looking to make high end work. I feel like their software makes the files look compressed and make the review process harder. We've found the best approach is to use SharePoint or Dropbox and just include a link within each project update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to use a spreadsheet before this and Workfront and so much more interactive. We now have a central location for projects and project updates that the whole team can access. It doesn't matter whether I'm ok a laptop or desktop or mobile device. I can always know what's going on and all the details without needing physical print outs or always having a computer handy. What do you like best about Workfront?

I like the board views and timeline views of tasks and the ability to filter through tasks by assignee. We use it for many things like project management, change management, and submitting forms for requests like a user requesting to book a conference room for an event and then the request goes to AV team so they can work on it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

If I have so talk about things I don't like much it would probably be all the bells and whistles involved, while the UI is mostly neat and you can get what you want from it, there are so many options that make it hard for a beginner to customize views to their own liking and make it more of a learning curve, I wish they can simplify it a bit Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

I like that we can have multiple business units filtering into one queue and that they can be color coded for that unit. I also like that I don't have to manually move a project when it is done. I mark it done and it moves back the the Project Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

Workfront took is taking long to get used to, you need to have at least 3-4 windows open to navigate per each job which makes it difficult to navigate when working on multiple projects. It is still in its infancy stages here but over all I guess it is fulfilling the business needs. It need improvement in some areas. (Please make it more user friendly.) What do you like best about Workfront?

Workfront is an amazing tool to make sure our team is aligned and communicating with each other effectively. We use this for all incoming marketing projects, campaigns, and initiatives, and without it, I'm not sure we would be able to thrive as well as we do. We have a LOT going on, so this platform helps keep things organized. We are able to outline processes, establish timelines, and set deadlines. As someone who was new to this platform, I was able to learn very easily how to operate it as well as teach my team about important features. This platform also allows us to integrate with many other platforms that we use like Microsoft365, HubSpot, and others. We use Workfront daily because without out we would be drowning in email threads with each other or stakeholders involved in certain projects. What do you dislike about Workfront?

I do wish Workfront had more training materials and/or videos. And I would like to know more about the integrations it's capabable of, but truly, there are not many dislikes about this platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Workflow solves a lot of things for our marketing team. Since using workflow, it's helped us to establish processes that are crucial to our team. We have a lot of projects that are repetitive or have a similar workflow, and being able to visualize each project in Workfront, has in turn allowed us to see a bigger picture timeline/process... this is true for email campaigns, collateral creation, and event events. What do you like best about Workfront?

Prior to Workfront, our Marketing team utilized numerous systems with no integrations to each (SharePoint, Outlook, among others). There was no clear picture of where in the process a single asset or campaign was prior to Workfront. With Workfront, we are now able to provide transparency to requestors and the creative team, as well as management so they can see exactly what is happening at any given time. What do you like best about Workfront?

I like the home page where I can customize what I want to view. I had my project list where it notified me if a project was in different status allowing me to know where things were at without needing to open each project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

I disliked, and it might have been user error but I could not figure out how to work aorund it. When we deleted a field in a template for the issue brief that was no longer needed for future projects, it would delete the field from older projects where that field was needed and we would lose data. Therefore we would need to keep old fields and making issue brief long to go through and fill out, because we werent able to delete a field no longer needed.
