I like the flexibility when using it to request time off and to check my hours worked. It's great to be able to see everything from my accrued PTO hours, to benefits, to performance evaluations and reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only think I dislike is that sometimes the time clock that coordinates with the software doesn't always catch the punch in and out, but that isn't necessarily a software issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Time and attendance is very unorganized. To submit PTO was extremely confusing. Some coworkers PTO was combined with others so the manager would have to approve both no matter what. We replaced a handful of other older platforms with UltiPro at the beginning of 2017. This allowed us to bring all functions and tools (recruiting, onboarding, time management, talent management, benefits and payroll) into one system.

You have to click into several screens to access anything. You will click an option, but instead of taking you there, you go into another screen to click more options. Also, time off balances are tracked in advance instead of what you actually have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part is having all employee information all in one place. From onboarding to job history to performance reviews, it's convenient to have easy access. Customer service has been a huge frustration for us. It often takes weeks to get a response, and many times the response does not include a recommendation for the problem. PTO has been a huge issue. I dislike that Ultipro makes it very difficult to find the information you are looking for. The way they have designed the software is not user friendly and ultimately creates frustration when using their application. An example would be when trying to submit a PTO request. There are a couple of different ways and none of them are logical. Also, the way they display number of PTO days is confusing and listed by hours only and won't show how much you will have for the year total. It would make sense to show the time in days first then hours a secondary view. They also HTML linked text most of the time instead of a graphical button which increases the frustration when something doesn't look obviously clickable. Ultipro also limits the number of characters when inputting fields like an employees job title. Since titles can get long they then have to be abbreviated which makes it even harder to figure out someone's actual when you need to look it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
