I like how user-friendly UKG is. As someone who has trained other people on the platform, I think it is very easy for beginners to pick up. I have not used other platforms but I don't feel the need to explore other options because it is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Navigation is intuitive. Data structures in core are easy to understand. Configuration is good. Handles user-defined formulas for 401k and other deductions/earnings. Web payroll steps are great for seeing the status of your payroll. Integrations are relatively easy to set up. Platform config is also a convenient feature to help handle unique situations companies face. Onboarding is straight forward and intuitive. Really like some of the things coming for recruiting/onboarding to increase the interactivy with the applicants. UKG shows they are not just a payroll company, by introducing new HRM functionality to help make companies relevant with changes coming in the world around how employees are handled, communicated to and getting their feedback to strengthen the organization. Core Benefits for OE/LE is not comprehensive or intuitive for users. Validation during open enrollment is lacking unless you use prime. Current talent management is a little stagnate, but it looks like a lot of the ideas for 2022 fill most of these gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When an issue arises, the resolution is very dependent upon the individuals assigned. UKG has some great talent and some that are in need of development. I love that I can do almost everything in one place, Recruit, Onboard, Hire, Manage Performance, Payroll, Compensation, Time & Attendence etc. The mobile app is great, especially if you have an employee base that is not sitting in front of a computer all day or is not very computer savvy. Its intuitive and allows them to do much of what they need to do right on their phone. They are constantly updating and enhancing the products and much of it is based on customer feedback. The benefits are really subpar compared to the rest of the standard features. If you have very simple/basic benefits it is fine, if you have anything else you need to pay for the upgrade to Benefits Prime which is a partially integrated external vendor that can handle more, but is still restrictive. Some navigation is a bit confusing and nonintuitive. For instance, when viewing previous PTO requests, one must first access Time Management, then Add Time Off Request (wut?), followed by View Calendar.
