What do you like best about Server Density?

The tool is laser-focused on providing server infrastructure monitoring. As such, the tools are simple to configure and the reports are straightforward. Plus, the pricing is extremely predictable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Server Density?

The pricing scales linearly. You'd think they'd offer either volume discounts or some sort of reduced pricing if you pay for, say, a year in advance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Server Density solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a monitoring system that operates not only separately from our network but outside of our cloud provider's infrastructure as well. Furthermore, we didn't want the hassle of setting up a virtual machine on a second cloud provider. Server Density gave us low-hassle monitoring external to our network and infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Server Density?

It was easy to set up and configure. The documentation was complete and straightforward. The charting made sense. It was easy to build an integration with their APIs. It was a pleasure to work with the CEO of Server Density. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Server Density?

The product was good at what it does, but you really want an APM solution. It's great for measuring uptime and load, but there are a lot of solutions for these problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Server Density:

It's easy to try and evaluate, but you probably want an APM solution, because their monitoring is more complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Server Density solving and how is that benefiting you?

I need to make sure that my servers where running. I primarily used it to build and an integration with another product line, that could provide a more flexible alerting system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
