I like how Samsara help drivers stay alert by alerting drivers when the need to slow down or driving too close or making too harsh of a stop, etc. The upside to using Samsara, Samsara captures near misses or accidents where the other driver could easily claim the accident was your fault. The downside to using Samsara is the VGA54-NA gateway installation. Finding locations under the dashboard can get very tedious. I wish there was a better way to stabilize the gateway other than using a zip tie. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
FIRST OFF IS THE EASE. TO NAVIGATE FROM VIEWING, ORDERING, AND PULLING VIDEOS, IT'S NOT DIFFICULT. I HAVE SHOWN SEVERAL OF THE GUYS IN THE FIELD AND THEY CATCH ON RIGHT AWAY! We love the visibility it provides, from accurate GPS tracking, to past route / stops history , and safety tracking. This system has endless amounts of data to track any and all targets. I especially like being able to see when and where our trucks are getting held up loading or in traffic. Their customer support team is super easy to work with and made the integration seamless. The peace of mind knowing if something happens we have an emperical account of why it happened. Our drivers are motivated to be the best possible driver they can be, and are able to learn about their behaviors that may need improvement.
