What do you like best about Samsara?

Samsara has brought so many missing pieces together that other platforms have failed to do. After using multiple other platforms, Samsara has set the bar for usability as well as functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsara?

The biggest downside for Samsara is the cost. I would like to see a more aggressive cost structure that supports a quickly changing business landscape within a very volatile economy. The ability to pause or suspend a group of gateways for up to 6 months would be very helpful in some instances. The 6 months could be added to the end of the agreement. I would also say that I do not like the process for ordering new units. The billing of new units should be more streamlined with current billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tracking assets, safety, logistics, and maintenance tracking. Having a central dashboard to manage all of these is very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Samsara?

I can see where all of my crews have been during the day and where they are at at the moment so I get a clear picture of what their day has consisted of. It also lets me know the vehicles driving data so we can ensure safe driving habits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsara?

The only feature I could think of is if I could input their projected route, then it calculates the differences in what they were projected in drive time vs what they actually did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Samsara?

Samsara keeps our drivers and every driver around them honest. samsara is helpful in the event of an accident. It is also helpful in preventing an accident with mobile usage and distractedx driving alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Samsara?

The only negative is the AI does get the alerts wrong now and then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Samsara is helpiung to slow our drivers down. It is helping to eliminate the use of a hand held device. These measures alone is helping to reduce the chances of an accident and helps to reduce the results of personal injury and property damge due to an accident. Instant access to see where a driver or asset is located. Makes coordination easier and saves phone calls. Asset protection and safety are upsides also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Samsara?

I love that we are able to track all of our assets. There are so many features offered esocially integration with other platforms. Samsara is really east to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Samsara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Samsara is solving our PTI issue. We can see if a driver has done their PTI. The dash cams have also helped us with accident reporting to the insurance. It has benefitting us in getting our claims paid and trucks fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Samsara?

Has an API that integrates with TenStreet. Also get real time data for hard breaking. Maps update in real time. When we switched to Samsara from Transflo it was pretty seamless. We have had many benefits since switching. Their customer support is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing that didn't go well during implementation was the user learning curve.
