Customer service is horrid... most of the time when I or my drivers call the number for help the person cannot be understood. If the binder that they obviously look through to help resolve an issue does not show an obvious resolution, 9x out of 10, the issue has to be sent to the 'escalations dept.' and we are then left with no resolution until they have a chance to investigate it. There is NEVER a way to get in immediate contact with someone to resolve the issue. This leaves us with a truck that has to either sit until a resolve can be made or the truck runs illegal. I enjoy the real time GPS tracking and data driven insights that lead to cost savings, improved driver safety and better asset utilization. The HOS tracking and electronic logs improves decision making, identifies ineffeciencies and reduces dowtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We often experience lags in information, such as safety scores, sleepy drivers and HOS. It sometimes glitches out and sends alerts that are false, causing driver frustration and safety concerns, which causes frustration and time lost that is associated with the loss of time to correct these issues, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Samsara changed everything for our business and fleet. This service is user friendly, easy to navigate, and always on time. They offer updates and educational programs for users of the software as well as the drivers. It can be personalized and modified to fit anyone's needs. Since implementing Samsara as our ELD provider into our operations a few years ago now, we have a whole new view of our fleets safety and driver efficiency. The interface is easy to navigate and extremely user friendly. Features are endless and customer support is excellent. They are constatnly improving their product and actually listen to their customers needs and suggestions.

Whats most helpful about samsara is the GPS on there systems and the ease of use on there products. An upside about samsara is how easy it is to navigate there software and how quick you can learn everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think that samsara is lacking when it comes to there customer support i belive that they are a lot slower in there case. Ive had experiece with customer support taking a while to respond back to me and even cases where my co workers have had trouble with them on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Samsara integrates well with our fleet software. It's reporting and recordkeeping features allow our business to comply with federal and state regulations and to enable our business to easily track vehicles and equipment. The Qualifications feature allows us to easily ensure our drivers' certifications and licenses remain up to date and alert us to upcoming expirations. While Samsara is fairly user friendly, it can be difficult to find features on the website. I often have to utilize the help feature or contact customer support to assist me. It'd also be great if their reporting features had more filters to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about Samsara is that we can do everything in one platform. We began using Samsara in 2020. We're a trucking company and it allows for Operations to dispatch. Their safety suite is always getting better and more advanced. The maintenance portion that allows the maintenance team to track upcoming maintenance.

Additionally their customer support team is fast and helpful.

The driver App is amazing and easy to learn. I've been able to get drivers who have never used an ELD learn Samsara HOS in as little as an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside I would say would be their training platform is not yest where I'd like it to be. The library is minimal and you would have to put in quite some time to find your own content to upload into it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AI built into the cameras is amazing. It's so helpful to provide drivers with real-time alerts about their behavior and also provide data to the managers so that coaching can be handled as needed. We have seen an improved driving record across our fleet since implementing this system. Figuring out how everything works has been our challenge. No one has the time to take the courses in order to fully understand the system's capabilities and implement. This isn't a fault of Samsara. We like having the ability to look back on a driver's route to check stops for our trash business. The cameras have also been very helpful in complaints about how a driver is driving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very hard and time consuming to get support and resolution to issues with the products. The interfacing with equipment is not solid and causes many, many issues when interfacing with our equipment. We have demonstrated our faith and trust in you getting it resolved by renewing our contract for an additional year.

We use this equipment every day, multiple drivers and have the need to add it and roll it out to more areas. Unfortunately we can't yet take that leap of faith. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
