The trip history can be a bit tricky to follow when there are a lot of stops involved. It was very difficult to understand when I first started using Samsara and still trips me up sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program worked well with unpowered assets for about a year then the problems started. We replaced all the batteries and carefully re-set all the units. They ony worked for a short time. They replaced all the Assets with an up graded model. Same issues persisted in short order. The dash Cams worked fine, the program was good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
THeir customer service misses the mark. Their system is very automated and super difficult to talk to anyone who follows through. I was one of their orginal customers and they went from a 10 to zero. I have tried to close my account for about a year. It finally came to a renewal and I told Samsara I did not want my account re-newed. They did it anyway and kept charging me for 7 months. Sometimes odd issues pop up with our integration between samsara and our TMS software. They get frustrating but eventually do get worked out. If you dont use a custom integration, this isnt an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of installation is a big positive in a world of increasingly complicated technology. Depending on vehicle application, I would rate this "up to" a medium-level difficulty. Trying to keep up with vehicle maintenance for 32 vehicles can be a tedious task.
With Samsara I am able to create alerts for oil changes, inspections, and track where vehicles are located. It also helps me to alert clients when appointments are running behind and when our sales team will be arriving on site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were on the fence for years on whether or not to implement a safety product such as Samsara, however, we needed a better way to control our drivers and the vehicles out on the road.
