The customer support is poor, our representative is never available to speak to us because they are always on other calls and the support get through email is bare minimum responses that don't usually provide a solution to our problem. The system is clunky and takes forever to make simple changes in like organizational structure updates (reporting manager/department changes). Paycom is not interested in being a partner, they never explain the consequences of taking certain actions or making changes in the system. We spend so much time correcting issues that should be avoidable if we had a system that was easier to use. It can take over a month to fix a problem because we go back and forth with our rep without being provided a solution. The Paycom system has truly become the WORST part of my job. After interview and vetting out multiple HRIS systems, we went with Paycom effective May 1, 2020! We made the right decision. I cannot say enough about the product, the service we received and all that Paycom offers. From our initial meeting through implementation, Paycom was in constant contact – schedules with timelines were created and put into place. Weekly meetings were set up with the implementation team. One particular person that stands out is Adam Spangenberg who has been with us since our first day of implementation. Adam has knocked out of the park with all that he has done to help us learn the system, get it up and running, answer our multiple questions and he still continues to be available to us. I have worked with many HRIS systems over my career and I have to say that Paycom is the best system I have used so far. We use Paycom for Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, Onboarding, Talent Management, and so much more. The system is easy to use and navigate. Our employees are able to use the system with little to no assistance. Most of our employees use the phone app to complete tasks, request days off from work, sign off on documents, etc. Every day, I learn something new that is within the system that we can utilize to save time and streamline processes.
