"Accurate, Fast, Transparent Payroll with a Simple, Self-Managed Interface"
What do you like best about Rippling?

Rippling's payroll system is accurate, fast, and transparent because it pulls all the data directly from our employee records. Making edits to the data to fix mistakes and get it approved is quick, the simple interface make it doable and I don't have to wait for days for a support tickets, it can be done directly from the self-managed payroll profile. I also integrate it with Slack as the main communication hub, any issue with my HR core details can be directly ask from the HR on the Slack channel, It is easier and faster since all the details and communication is kept as a record on Slack history. As for implementation, I only need to install the apps from Google Play Store, login with my email and password and all the HR tools like payroll, paystub, benefits and expenses management is laid on the dashboard. Lastly, for the price, I think they are quite expensive as all the add-ons need for extra cost and the billing keep getting expensive every year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling?

What do you like best about Rippling?

Rippling is a modern, well-designed platform that brings payroll, benefits, and HR into one system. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate for anyone with current business system experience. Once configured, it runs cleanly and provides strong visibility and control.

Our implementation manager, Maria Lytle, was exceptional. In 35 years working with project and implementation teams, she is among the best I’ve worked with. Highly knowledgeable, efficient, and effective.

Ease of setup

Initial setup is intuitive. Most users can install and begin onboarding without difficulty, even without hands-on guidance.

Bottom line

What do you dislike about Rippling?

What do you like best about Rippling?

I have two years of experience using Rippling and features that I think the best is their Rippling travel management. It is simple to book my own trips to find hotels and flights ticket directly in the apps, and it will follow our company's spending rules that already been sets. I don't have to pay with my own money and wait to paid back because it connects to ours company cards. It even helps me to find rental car discount automatically. What do you dislike about Rippling?

One thing that I dislike is the new timeclock features. While they are fancy and use things like mobile apps to clock in, they can be a bit glitchy. Also, the mobile apps has so many new button for travel and expenses now that it feels a little messy, it took me few minutes to find the menu because they keep upgrading and changing the layout. What do you like best about Rippling?

Support/ Onboarding and Implementation, several integrations of other software that are compatible with Rippling. It all started with a very simple 30-minute overview of what Rippling has to offer, and I can confidently say that we will not look back at any old payroll software. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Product when implementation, just an additional check box or a simplified write this word to confirm "Completion" of a task. In short, a lot was missed and had to be inputted manual due to not completing the notification once read, and it moved onto the next step in the implementation process. Humans still need reminders, especially early on into the implementation phase, focus was primarily on ensuring that process is ran as smooth as possible. We were very fortunate to also come in at Rippling's end of year, so that helped our small business even further so we can grow more in the perceivable future. What do you like best about Rippling?

I enjoy how easy Rippling is to use and all the things you can do through a single platform. It handles everything smoothly, and I can check the status of my requests in real-time. Like when I'm buying things for business purposes and request a reimbursement, I can see where it is, who approved it, and if a receipt is required. It's also super easy to look at my payroll and manage it across different bank accounts. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, and the Rippling team was detailed and helpful in providing the necessary information. What do you dislike about Rippling?

I think what could be improved about Rippling is sort of being able to contact my EOR. Because, it is not entirely clear how I'm able to contact my EOR since my company is not based in my country and they have the Rippling EOR. There are some concerns which need to be addressed to the EOR and not to my company's HR. And things are not very clear as in what concerns I should address to the EOR and what to my company. What do you like best about Rippling?

I really like Rippling because it makes the entire payment process really easy and seamless. I appreciate that I can reconcile differences in a very clear and direct manner without any issues of wrong payments. It's wonderful to use Rippling to settle contractors, independent contractors, vendors, staff, and employees. I love the notifications feature because it alerts me when I need to submit my time cards for payments, which is a reminder I never thought I needed. Those notifications prevent me from missing payments by alerting me to submit my time card. Additionally, getting real-time updates about payments from my dashboard and the ability to make instant withdrawals are really valuable features. The ease of navigating different icons and knowing upfront what each bar represents without clicking is fantastic. What do you like best about Rippling?

We are a quickly growing small business that had outgrown the tools that had been used for scheduling and payroll since the founding of the company. In all our research Rippling was the best fit for where we are in our growth. Rippling had all the existing features that we liked, solved the pain points we had with our existing systems and helped to reduce overall platform complexity. Rippling also has many features that we don't need yet but anticipate needing as we continue to grow. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Rippling can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be. What was a little stressful was that many features we were used to being built in needed to be set up manually. I am very grateful for the hands on support during implementation. I don't think we would have been able to set up the system to work as well as it does for us without that guidance. Rippling's complexity ended up being to our benefit as it allows for more customization to our use case but it led to difficulty getting buy in from middle managers on our team when we spoke to them about the transition before we had all the answers. They were nervous about how changes might impact them. In the end everyone ended up happy with the product and more satisfied than they were with our previous systems. "Rippling Makes Global Payroll and Compliance Effortless"
What do you like best about Rippling?

I have use Rippling for over a year and the global payroll feature is absolutely a life saver. Before, paying our team members in different countries was a huge mess with local taxes and laws, but now Rippling handles all the currency and compliance automatically. I loved the employees self-service portal allows employees to make self changes to update their own bank account information or download tax forms without asking me for help every time. What do you dislike about Rippling?

What do you like best about Rippling?

I love how broad Rippling is, it covers payroll, benefits, time tracking, reporting, and company policies. It really fills the gaps and I love that you can add a new tool to your subscription at any point within your contract. What do you dislike about Rippling?

The only thing I've found that I don't love is that the amount of seats you sign up for at the beginning of the contract term is the lowest amount of seats you can have.
