What do you like best about Paycom?

The quick service from Paycom and user-friendliness of the product. I utilize the software daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

I've only found one thing that has caught me once in a big way. When submitting payroll "the short way" the save button is green and in the center. The "mark as complete and submit" button is white, on right and on the dropdown (from Mark as Complete). I hit the green Save one morning and noticed it did not submit so I clicked on "start payroll" and tried to submit that way ("the long way"). That generated a 2nd payroll and emailed all employees to approve their check. Maybe make the submit button green and visible on page as well? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

I like that my staff must look at and approve their checks before payroll is completed so that their payroll is accurate. Payroll is now much faster with Paycom and it is easier to do each time. Our implementation team was awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

As an HR department of 1, Paycom has added a few things to my plate. I wish there was a support number for employees who get locked out of their account or for when they can't remember their passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

We truly enjoy the centralization and categorization of the products and support. It's ease of use for us has enabled our integration/implementation to run so much smoother than we anticipated. We are in Paycom all day so very frequent users of the product so we needed a product that would work with our needs and I believe we found it. Again the ease of integration was priceless. What do you dislike about Paycom?

Nothing that time will not help. There are multiple areas for setting up data and once we master that I believe it will be very effective for us. We have found when we do have questions we can reach out to customer support and that has been helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

Paycom is a sophisticated, organized and capable software. We use it on a daily basis for all of our companies.

Their staff provide good on-going customer support for more than just simple routine, transactional needs. They are able to provide insight into best-practice solutions, as well as practical, alternative business applications. They listen to what I need, and then help me accomplish it. What do you like best about Paycom?

User interface and custom reporting are top notch. Setting up company info has always been easy, and I really like the hover guides on various fields when creating new items in the system. I have always been able to get the assistance I need with any issues in a efficient manner, and the representatives have been helpful and friendly, even when not the one assigned to my account. What do you dislike about Paycom?

Some of my custom reports generate correctly, but when copying/pasting to a different document a cell is created with the text "Generated by Super Report Writer" which throws off the rows of the document being pasted into. I've tried a bunch of different ways to not have this issue but it persists. Not sure who actually benefits from that, but its quite annoying.

Some of the filters on various screens arent always easy to find, expense queue jumps to mind. I would like to see more robust options in the filters of the various screens in Paycom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

Paycom has made our payroll and benefits processing so much easier and allowed the team members to take control of and accountability for their compensation and benefits. It was easy to implement and the team was super helpful and supportive. I love how everything is integrated into one system so we never have to transfer information manually. I also love that there are security features built in that protect my team from the different scams that we are bombarded with on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

I feel like the applicant process is a bit clumsy and not as intuitive as I've seen in other programs. I also don't like how difficult it is to find an offer letter once an applicant has been onboarded. It seems like that should be one of the documents in their file, but the only place it can be found is on their application even once they're a current employee. What do you like best about Paycom?

Paycom is a robust and complex system. There are many ways that you can customize it to your liking and what your company needs. I use Paycom multiple times a day for my position. We love our sales rep Lana, she has helped us so much with learning about the system. We appreciate her kindness and patience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

If implementation was not successful, it is a rough project to get the system to your liking. There are some nuances about Paycom that are hard to learn, but once you learn it, it eventually becomes easier. The way the menus are setup are kind of different as well as the names for certain things. For instance, if you want to search for an employee, you have to click on Make Employee Changes which is a weird subject to click on when you search someone. I wish there was a search bar at the top of the page at all times so I could just search anyone at any moment. I am new to Paycom. I just started learning it at the end of May 2024. It has been an interesting journey but I am starting to see the benefits of it and some things I wish were different. Our account manager is pretty responsive through email but usually wants us to call him which can be an inconvenience due to us having to call into the normal line and speaking with someone else entirely. I wish our account manager would answer our questions through email for convenience. It is weird to me that we have to pay extra for the BETI "upgrade" when everyone should just receive it because it is an "upgrade". We are paying a lot of money currently for the less updated version and we shouldn't pay more for efficiencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

The ease of using Paycom is my favorite thing about Paycom. Also, the customer service is unmatched. Using Paycom is easy for employees to navigate and its aesthetically pleasing. Very simple and clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

The thing I like least about Paycom is the visual aspects of the start and stop dates on form 2. They did an upgrade about a year ago and I disliked it. When creating and doing set-up I wish I would have asked more questions or even was given more info on how certain things would affect other things. What do you like best about Paycom?

I have looked at other payroll companies and comparing other products with Paycom, they really do have a superior product. Their technology is very user friendly. We recently had a reimplementation to add additional products and it was so smooth and amazing. Their implementation team is top notch. I use Paycom daily in my job. What do you like best about Paycom?

Paycom is a fully-integrated system to manage the entire employee life-cycle, from publishing and promoting your company positions, through hiring, benefits, time and talent management, payroll, and cesation. You do not need a different tool to provide the services your employees need and interact with them via the one-stop app, both on the web and on mobile devices.

Paycom implementation was enabled by a team of experts in the areas of compensation, federal and state taxes, data integration, all guided by the skillful hands of the project team who made it all look very easy.

Paycom's suport team is superb. We have a dedicated team of technical and functional advisors that guide us through any of the day-to-day operations, including the generation of GL and other data reports, which you can easily obtain via their built-in reporting engine.

Paycom adoption was also very easy for our part-time and full-time employees and administrative personnel who started using it daily from the get go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

One are of improvement we have made Paycom aware of relates to the business of Higher Education, especially when you have a student workforce. Students normally hold multiple jobs reporting to multiple supervisors. Though you are able to manage multiple jobs in Paycom, supervisors are not able to only approve the time employees worked for them but any supervisor could approve all the time for multiple departments, making it difficult for supervisors to track their departmental time in case of changes.
