The ability to log in and out via the phone is a great feature. Also I was able to access some of my documents and information on the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The iOS app was buggy, there was too much disparity between was could be viewed on the mobile app vs the web for the end user. Additionally the navigation was not intuitive compared to other platforms I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Paycom's system is robust and intuitive. You don't have to be a Paycom system expert to figure out how to run reports, update employee information, etc. Also, their modules are built in house unlike other legacy HRIS systems who purchase external modules and "bolt on" to their existing systems leading to poor data flow. The log-in and verification process seems cumbersome. I would prefer an easier verification process that doesn't require me to check my email for a code, maybe a two-point verification system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Report Center and specifically Advanced Report writer. There is not a better reports module out there and I have experience in multiple HRIS companies. You can build any report you need in just a few clicks. The payroll module (even without using the new BETI) is very easy to use and you can get payroll done without errors each time. I know their ancillary modules are also great and I'm working on getting my company to utilize more of them specifically ATS. Main reasons again being ease of setup/use and then the reporting that comes with those. We struggle right now pulling data from multiple systems due to not utilizing these modules in Paycom. I do like having some backup on issues from my specialist and CRR if I have any issues. Just an email or call away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though my specialist is dedicated to me and quick to reply, I don't feel he's the most equipped to answer my questions at times. A lot has been off loaded from that team so I have others working to resolve my issues and that leads to more mistakes. For example, adding earnings/deductions and tax codes.
Lately we have been charged for items that I disagree with and seems that Paycom is 'nickeling and diming' clients for everything. Price increase last month, tax registration or late account numbers fees, and even DD bouncebacks have gone up. We don't get much notification on when or if these charges are hitting until they've already been deducted from our account.

My Paycom specialist Brenden Lewis went above and beyond the call of duty. We had previously chosen to work with Paylocity and was working with them to get implemented for 1 month, but they literally drop the ball the week of payroll. We had 3 days to run payroll and pay our employees and Brenden from Paycom made it possible to do so within just 3 days. Not only was Brenden so incredibly helpful from beginning to end, but also Lauren Jimboy was also a huge player in the implementation. Both exceptional customer service, quick responses to emails, phone calls, even text messages. I am very pleased with and would definitely Recommend Paycom to anyone.
