I noticed that the New England Patriots (Kraft Group) use Paycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They'll make your work life a living hell. This product is so bad it is hard to believe that any HR group finds value in their product, truly. I inherited a very incompletely setup system and the person that sold us this product is avoiding my pointed questions about how long our terms are of our agreement, how long our agreement is for and what was agreed upon for the implementation checklist. This right here should be a major red flag for anyone considering purchasing this system.
Their service model is terrible. We have an assigned rep who is very kind and nice, but he doesn't know the basic functionality of his system and invariably requires to place you on hold while he looks into it.
This is a closed system and I have yet to determine a consistent answer on their API functionality. As best I can determine, they will allow API's but at your own peril and without any support from Paycom. How does a product or service function in this day and age with that model? There are no functioning integrations as best as I can determine.
The user interface is terribly outdated, there is far too much informatoin akin to looking at an outdated Microsoft Access Database and functions are not located in intuitive locations. They rely too much on their breadcrumbs which have confusing and lengthy pathways.
The Learning Management System was incredibly frustrating and time consuming to use. We were promised that we could load our own SCORM files, but again with this being a closed system, the course would glitch out rendering the end user frustrated and having to begin the course all over again, this ocurred multiple times.
In my opinion, the staff, while pleasant and attempting to be helpful seem to know that their system has many challenges and they give a vibe of being ashamed, embarrased or as frustrated with their product. Comments like "yeah, I am not sure why they put that there, or I'm not sure why they have you navigate to it that way", etc.
While they do have a number of features, they seem incomplete or disappointing as they semi function in my opinion. I had a red flag when I was interviewing for my new role at this company but have been sorely dismayed at the day to day use of this system and I would highly encourage anyone seriously considering this to look at any other viable alternative. You'll be better off for doing so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I especially like the different features Paycom provide that helps steamline many processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that the some of the same information entered in Paycom has to be updated in several different places within Paycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite feature is Beti, a real time saver as well as helping the employee gain more control of their timecards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The help section is not as user friendly as it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only silver lining in my experience with Paycom, and something my team appreciated too, was the "review your check" feature before it hit the payroll. Unfortunately, aside from that, the overall journey with the platform was nothing short of a headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The aesthetics of Paycom's interface leave much to be desired; it's just not a pleasant experience. Navigating through it is far from user-friendly, and it often pushes HR teams to handle tasks manually. The customer service is a whole other ordeal – our dedicated rep seemed to create more problems than solving them. Requesting a new rep turned into a saga that lasted over six months. From start to finish, and even beyond, it has been the most unpleasant encounter with an HR system in my entire career. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love all of the platforms, especially electronic personnel files. I love the self-service component too. Employees can review and make changes to basis information on their own without having to come to the Office of HR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because I have used so many systems, Paycom is the best out of all of them. With one implementation I completed 2.4 years ago, the company was pulled away fro a PEO with ADP totalSources. It was certainly an expeirence with ADP. I had to get legal involved becasue the company had done some unethical things. I completed an audit and discovered some things that were not favorabel to the comapny I was working for at the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Paycom is a one-stop shop for all HCM products. It is a payroll-friendly system and can flow smoothly for the right local, small business if set up correctly. Employee Self-Service is convenient and user-friendly. Ask Here is a nice resource for HR questions and concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Paycom is not the best platform for everyone. It has it's limitations that Paycom seems to ignore in an effort to be innovative. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who you are able to speak to, but generally it's hard to find consistent solutions from customer facing teams. Seriously lacks integration flexibility with 3rd party providers that other HCM platforms offer. Implementation seems half-hearted and can set up clients for a poor experience throughout the life span of their time with Paycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it makes paystubs, upcoming payments and requests for accrued vacation time easily accessible. It simplifies and streamlines payroll process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use, the quality of the product and the excellent customer support! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far, it's a good system. The ease of implementation has been the best yet for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that my dedicated specialist and internal team within Paycom reach out frequently and triage issues that occur very quickly! Paycom also offers a variety of services with very easy integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The implementation process was longer than expected, but I did have a dedicated rep to guide me through the challenging setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything flows together easily, especially coming from a system that was really 3 different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Deductions are not something I can schedule outside of either every pay period or manually each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
