The software is very user-friendly and has increased employee retention efforts—everything from onboarding new employees to managing current employee records to processing payroll. I also appreciate that they are continuously making updates and improvements without interruption to the current process. The only downfall I have experienced is that their customer care team could be more proactive in helping clients make the most of the system. I have really enjoyed the flexibility and ease of use with Isolved. They continue to develop new tools and enhance the current platforms for optimum performance. My biggest challenge is the pricing format. New tools are exciting but almost any development comes with a new contract to add the service. While individually the pricing seems very fair, it would be nice to have a base model that versus so much cafeteria style choices. I LOVE that it's a true one stop shop. Key needs for most companies are available on the platform, easy navigation of menu (logical lay out). I do wish that some of the ancillary services like Share & Perform and Predictive People Analytics had more Dev efforts put towards them. The current product is needing a facelift (S&P) and for PPA there is minimal info on the admin settings and how they impact the dashboards.

As the person running payroll, I find it very helpful that I can go in and easily see all employees and what department they are working in. Retrieving important info like check stubs, or updating contact information is easy and streamlined.

Some reports can be difficult to pull the information I'm looking for as it is restricted to either payroll run or date range. Pulling department-specific reports can be challenging, and finding the right report for the need at hand is sometimes like digging through a mountain of other reports. I would love a folder system within user reports to help sort individual reports based on my needs, versus just alphabetically.
Additionally, the inability to correct someone's department after payroll has been run is frustrating. I understand that this is for labor laws, but even having an ability to correct departments just on our reporting side of things would make planning upcoming payroll much easier. As a small business, iSolved has been great.
The best part is the customer service. I am usually connected with someone within a minute or two, if not immediately, and they are most often able to help me right away. If not, they research my problem or ask for help, then call me back. In every other system I've used, customer service has been the worst, so this is a breath of fresh air.
It is really easy to navigate and does what we need it to do. It also has integrations with the system we use for benefits and open enrollment, which is really nice.

It isn't an all-in-one solution. We still have to use separate systems to meet our needs for benefits, time tracking, and recruiting. In many ways, it feels like we are in the stone age because we do everything on paper, still, then manually enter it into the system, but it makes sense for the price and our company size.
