I feel like some of the tools can be a little gimicky and not actually help businesses that are smaller and trying to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting capabilities are significant'y better then competitors. There is a lot more flexibility in how you can set up reports. The listening capabilities are powerful as well. Whilst we are yet to use it, I think the integration with ads is a good feature as well.

We love the fact that Hootsuite let's us plan ahead, provides suggestions and has multiple way of creating reports and tracking analytics for all of our social media pages. The analytics are up to date and connect directly with the account. Plus the ease of tagging the diverse social media pages while creating and customizing one post is a plus. The price. We are a non-profit, 5 person staff and the price can sometimes be hard to handle, especially since it went up. I love how Hootsuite really tries to improve the knowledge of their consumers with webinars. The webinars are also very great especially if you are looking to explore different parts of social media marketing. I have worked with many other social media management platforms including Later, HeyOrca, Hubspot, Cloud Campaign, and more and I find it to work great for my business. I think that in order to get some of the insights features and analytic tools, you have to have a higher payment plan which is a little unfortunate because my company already does not give enough budget to the social media team so we are spending more that we could be investing in paid ads or in person campaigns. Hootsuite is fantastic because it allows you to monitor and manage all of your social media platforms from one place. What I appreciated most was all of the free guides and training offered. I was new to my position and had to learn what I could on the go. Their training made it so easy! There's also a very handy mobile app.
The setup was a piece of cake, and the interface is extremely user-friendly. There are ai components built in, along with a media library and a customizable analytics page. We use this software literally every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I receive all messages sent from our platforms, EXCEPT for Facebook event invites. I got so used to doing everything through this platform because you can for most things. I did not realize that one of our community partners had invited us to co-host an event and it was almost an issue when I did not accept. I wish you could see event invites within your messages.
