## Hootsuite Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Post Scheduling and Seamless Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suhas G. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like using Hootsuite because it allows me to schedule all my posts in one place, which is really convenient for handling multiple social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn for our college. The ability to plan posts for specific dates and times makes it very versatile. It also makes my work easier as I can upload the same media across different platforms simultaneously, saving me the trouble of repeatedly uploading images. I appreciate being able to upload everything at once, and I find it very helpful that I can put different captions for each platform. This feature really makes my job much easier. Overall, it's been a very easy experience, and I didn't encounter any trouble in setting it up.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One time, I faced a situation where I was uploading the same media for all platforms, and while doing that, I had to put different captions for each platform. At some point, there was some error or something; maybe because I was using all platforms at once, it crashed or something. I had a bit of trouble tagging a person or organization, but it's fine.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn all in one place. It makes my life easier by allowing me to upload media and set different captions for each platform simultaneously.

 ### 2. Hootsuite Amplify Made Employee Advocacy Easy and Scalable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monique P. | Global Talent Demand Generation & Social Media Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like best about Hootsuite is Hootsuite Amplify. I had the opportunity to pioneer and launch our company’s employee advocacy program last year, and Amplify played a huge role in making the program successful. It made it easier for employees to access and share curated content, helped increase engagement, and supported us in building stronger employee participation across the program. I also appreciate how user-friendly the platform is, especially when managing and distributing content at scale.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One thing I dislike about Hootsuite is that some platform-specific features still require me to go natively into the social media platform instead of managing everything directly within Hootsuite. For example, I can’t publish LinkedIn polls or post on Threads through the platform, which can interrupt workflow efficiency when managing multiple channels. It would be great to have more native support for newer features and platforms in one centralized tool.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps solve the challenge of managing multiple social media platforms efficiently in one place. It allows me to schedule and publish content across different channels while also monitoring mentions, comments, and replies in real time. Since I also support brand reputation management, having a centralized platform helps me stay on top of audience engagement, respond faster, and track conversations more effectively. This saves time, improves workflow efficiency, and helps ensure we maintain a positive and consistent brand presence online.

 ### 3. Convenient, User-Friendly Platform with a Great Content Planner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum S. | Digital Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite's greatest strength lies simply in its convenience. The interface is very user-friendly; it took a very short amount of time to learn it when we first onboarded. I think the value of what you pay for in the subscription fee is very fair, for the sheer amount of features the platform offers alone. My favourite feature would be the content planner, as it is perfect for locating historic posts, as well as keeping a consistent schedule. The AI used to edit captions is good overall, certainly customisable. I have not tested Hootsuite under a heavy workload, due to the nature of what we use it for, however in the time I have used it, I have never encountered a performance-based issue, the platform is fast and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I wouldn't say that there is any particular downside of using Hootsuite, however, I would say that I have noticed various issues with social media accounts being unlinked from Hootsuite repeatedly, which is quite inconvenient to fix. I couldn't say confidently whether it is a well-known issue or one that is due to integration issues, but it would certainly be the biggest negative experience I've had with Hootsuite.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Hootsuite, every social media post had to be done manually of course, which by itself in one week of social media posts doesn't save much time. It's only when you look back after using the tool for weeks that you realise you probably wouldn't be able to happily work without it, due to the simple convenience of it. Naturally, tools such as Meta Business Suite offer direct analytics just like Hootsuite can, but at a far more broad lense in my opinion, whereas Hootsuite can give you very detailed insights into social media performance, also solving the problem of vague insights.

 ### 4. Affordable, Easy-to-Use Social Media Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody L. | Marketing and Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for social media management, analytics, and competitor research. I like that I can post ahead of time using the social schedule and track analytics, which helps me make a biweekly report based on our Instagram and LinkedIn analytics. The ability to look at our competitors and see what thought leadership we should share is also valuable. I find Hootsuite very easy to use and appreciate its affordability. The app is a great feature because it allows me to check or edit my posts. The social posting is simple, and I can save drafts if I'm not ready. I value the app functionality a lot because I can double-check my posts and make edits or reschedule without having to log into my laptop. Moving to Hootsuite was easy, and the initial setup was incredibly straightforward. Additionally, the pricing is appealing, which was a factor in switching from Oktopost.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that there could probably be more advanced tools like employer advocacy ones and also the tagging sometimes does not work with finding people or companies.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can post ahead on the social schedule and track analytics for biweekly reports. Competitor research is easier, and I can double-check posts and reschedule them from the app. Hootsuite is very easy to use and affordable, enhancing my workflow.

 ### 5. All-in-One Social Media Scheduling Made Easy with Hootsuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colby D. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite offers everything a social media manager needs in one place. Scheduling posts ahead of time is paramount to alleviate some of the forethought that goes into strategizing. It's affordable for any team, so purchasing Hootsuite should be no issue for anyone. Its AI features are improving over time, and I've found myself using OwlyGPT for more and more content ideas for complex subjects. And the fact that it posts to nearly every social media platform makes it easy to manage everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Support is not always quick. Sometimes when I have issues it takes some time to hear back from a representative. I also think the Ai feature could use some work.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is helping me not have to worry about what I'm going to post next week or the week after. It also provides extremely helpful analytics that I use in all of my planning meetings with my team.

 ### 6. RSS Feed and Bulk Scheduling Make News Posting Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanya D. | Social Media Manager, Newspapers, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I manage social media for The Statesman a Delhi based newspaper site, so there's always a constant flow of news posts going out during the day. RSS feed feature is very useful for me because it pulls website posts directly into dashboard and saves a lot of manual work. I also use bulk scheduling pretty often when there are multiple new updates lined up together. It makes my work more manageable during busy day.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

A few really useful apps and integrations are locked behind premium addon subscription. Sometimes that becomes difficult because extra approvals are needed internally before we can use certain features, even when they would genuinely help the team.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us handle daily news publishing in a more manageable way. Since timing matters a lot in media, being able to schedule posts quickly and manage everything from one site saves time and reduces repetitive work for our social media team.

 ### 7. Effortless Multi-Platform Scheduling and Streams for Managing Multiple Clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon R. | Business Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The ability to schedule my posts across several (all) of my social media platforms with one scheduling action is by far the best thing about hootsuite. Since I manage a number of different clients, the fact that I can plan out an entire weeks worth of content in one session, while reclining on the couch watching TV, makes it really convenient. The "streams" section is also something I use almost everyday - looking at all of the activity across all of my clients accounts in one screen, as opposed to needing to login to each individual account, takes much less time than I thought it would take when I started.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Price. It is quite expensive, especially when your business is small and then you discover you have to pay more money for a feature you want but cannot access because it is located on the next level of service. That hurts. Also, many times things that seem like they should naturally come with the price tag for using hootsuite will cost you more money, and you may not realize that until after you have signed up. Over the years the interface has become more cluttered and not necessarily in a positive manner - I find myself clicking on two or three options before finding what I am looking for. When you are quickly scanning through to see if anyone has posted anything new and you get logged out, that is frustrating.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to bounce around between 6 browser tabs, where I could lose track of something. Posting to multiple platforms, keeping track of who says what, and providing reports for clients - all of those tasks are available within Hootsuite and eliminate the need for me to constantly switch back and forth. For larger teams it works similarly - assigning content, approving content, etc., all without a bunch of Slack messaging going back and forth. And since managing social media is mostly about organizing and putting information in one location, that solves most of the problem.

 ### 8. Easy to Learn Social Media Management with Powerful Analytics and Teamwork

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie B. | Communications associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like it because it is very easy to use and learn, as well as teach others. Another reason I like Hootsuite is its analytics features. The platform provides insights about engagement, audience growth, and post performance, which helps users understand what content works best. These tools are useful for improving communication strategies and creating stronger connections with audiences. Hootsuite also supports teamwork by allowing multiple people to collaborate on campaigns and content planning.

Overall, I like Hootsuite because it combines creativity, organization, and analytics into one platform. It simplifies social media management while helping users communicate more effectively and professionally online.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The only thing I dislike about Hootsuite is the cost. Many of the advanced features, such as detailed analytics, team collaboration tools, and managing multiple accounts, are only available through paid plans. For students, small businesses, or individuals with limited budgets, the pricing can feel expensive compared to other social media management platforms. The free version also has restrictions that limit how useful it can be for larger projects.

I also find that scheduled posts do not always perform as well as content posted directly through social media apps. Some platforms limit certain features when third-party scheduling tools are used, which can affect engagement and content quality. Additionally, occasional technical issues or connection problems between accounts can be frustrating.
Overall, while Hootsuite is powerful and professional, its complexity, pricing, and occasional limitations make it less appealing for some users.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of managing multiple social media accounts separately. Without a platform like Hootsuite, users would need to log into each app individually to create posts, respond to messages, and track performance. This can take a lot of time and make it difficult to stay organized. Hootsuite brings everything into one dashboard, making social media management more efficient and convenient.

One of the biggest problems Hootsuite solves is time management. The scheduling feature allows users to plan and automate posts in advance, which helps maintain a consistent online presence without needing to post manually every day. This benefits me because it reduces stress and helps me stay organized while balancing school, work, and other responsibilities.

Hootsuite also solves the problem of tracking audience engagement and content performance. Its analytics tools provide insights into which posts are successful and how audiences interact with content. This benefits me by helping me improve communication strategies and create more effective posts.

Another benefit is collaboration. Hootsuite allows teams to work together on campaigns, approvals, and content planning in one place. Overall, Hootsuite benefits me by saving time, improving organization, and making social media communication easier and more professional.

 ### 9. Streamlined Workflows - Social Media Content Management and Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie A. | Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Streams within Hootsuite are very helpful for organization of content / posts across all social media platforms connected. URL uploading and condensing is seamless when creating social media posts and this aids in overall performance of month-to-month social media content calendar creation. Hootsuite support and onboarding was a breeze and the team members were able to quickly address all areas of concern. The AI capabilities within the platform have been a great overall addition especially in terms of data, analytics, and social media copy creation. Workflow on a day-to-day basis have been improved especially in the areas of quick data pulls, demographic and audience behavior, and content performance. Excellent UI / UX. The integrations of team workflows have been beneficial and the overall pricing for each team member is competitive within industry.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not enjoy the lack of API connection to seamlessly upload IG / FB Stories. I also believe there can be improvements at the general level for monitoring team member activity - such as how many times they are logging in, how many times they are viewing streams, and how many times they are generating reports.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is solving the problem of lack of data, reporting, and metrics insights that IG / Meta do not currently have at large. The demographic information and data is more insightful when compared and it is great to be able to lean into Hootsuite on a month-by-month and year-over-year basis across all social media platforms.

 ### 10. Top Notch Customer Care Backed By A Easy To Use Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth M. | Customer Experience & Client Relations Marketing Consultant - Digital & Experientially Focused, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Aside from the readily available customer support provided by a dedicated account manager, the platform is relatively straight forward and easy to navigate for the most part. It also connects to my social channels easy for tracking purposes.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Could be a bit more robust in analytics as well as data retrieval. It tends to only pull a limited amount of historical data and not easy to do YoY metrics. I would like it to use AI in this respect to help pull some historical data and use it to compare to our competitors.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me put all the content being pushed out via the numerous social channels my team and I manage on a daily basis into one calendar. I can quickly see what content is going out, how often it’s being posted, and which channel it’s on. It also keeps the metrics in one place for easy viewing, and makes it simple to export them to other applications as well.

 ### 11. Balanced & Professional - Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donny P. | Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like best about Hootsuite is the ability to manage multiple social media accounts from a single dashboard.

The UI/UX is clean and highly intuitive; the drag-and-drop content calendar has massively streamlined our weekly scheduling workflow. In terms of Integrations, it syncs effortlessly with all major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X) as well as Canva, which saves us from constantly switching tabs.

The software’s Performance is exceptionally stable, and scheduled posts go live reliably without lag. While the Pricing / ROI can feel a bit steep for smaller teams, the sheer amount of time saved weekly makes it a worthwhile investment that pays for itself.

Additionally, their Support / Onboarding resources were excellent, making it incredibly easy to train our new team members quickly. Finally, the built-in AI / Intelligence features have been an unexpected benefit, helping us quickly brainstorm engaging captions and optimal posting times when we hit a creative block.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What I dislike most about Hootsuite is that the Pricing / ROI has become increasingly difficult to justify for smaller teams, as frequent price hikes don't always feel matched by new value.

From a UI/UX standpoint, the dashboard can feel quite cluttered and overwhelming for new users, which slows down the initial Support / Onboarding process. I've also noticed occasional Performance lag when loading heavy analytics reports or uploading large video files.

Regarding Integrations, token disconnections happen a bit too frequently, forcing us to constantly re-authenticate our social accounts. Finally, while the platform has added AI / Intelligence features, the AI caption generator can feel a bit generic; it would be highly improved if it allowed us to train it on our specific brand voice and past high-performing posts.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Hootsuite, we struggled with a highly fragmented workflow where we had to manually log in and out of five different social platforms to post content, leading to missed postings and inconsistent branding.

By implementing Hootsuite, we can now schedule an entire month’s worth of multi-channel content from a single, centralized dashboard. This has resulted in a measurable 10+ hours saved every week for our marketing team and a 25% increase in our overall posting consistency.

Additionally, we struggled to track cross-platform analytics efficiently, but now we can generate comprehensive, unified reports with a single click. This has allowed us to quickly identify our highest-performing content and pivot our strategy in real-time, giving us a much clearer picture of our digital marketing ROI.

 ### 12. Hootsuite Saves Us Time with Easy Scheduling, Smart AI, and Fast Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christ Church H. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite is a time saver. My team loves the ability to schedule a post once and it's available for all of our social media profiles. It's easy interface is perfect for even the least tech savvy of us, and we enjoy the diagnostic score summary to show where we can improve. The AI integrations helping situations where we can't come up with a creative caption for our post and we also like the inclusion of the non-official holidays on the calendar and incorporating them into our regularly scheduled posts. Onboarding new team members into Hootsuite is a breeze and we're very happy with how fast Hootsuite performs.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

It's more of an inconvenience than a dislike, but when our account(s) are disconnected from Hootsuite, we don't always get notified when it happens. But other than that there is no downside.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Hootsuite to keep track of our social media posts and to see how and when everything is scheduled. We use all ten account spots on our Hootsuite account, and it helps us get a clear picture of where our posts are falling short so we can spot gaps more easily.

 ### 13. Inbox 2.0 Makes Multi-Platform Engagement and Team Assignments Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Social Media Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

How all my social networks can be viewed at a glance and posted to with relative ease. I very much appreciate the ability to develop a post and then refine it for each platform respectively. The Inbox 2.0 is by far my most used feature and it makes responding to mentions, comments, and messages a breeze!

Having Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram messages, comments, and mentions integrated into one space AND being able to assign them to team members has been invaluable for our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The backend for managing teams and members feels a bit outdated. Granting permissions to individuals has been a little bit of a headache at times where there is a bit of vagueness regarding how and which features we're giving permission for.

I have had struggles with the performance of the listening feature as far as narrowing results through booleans. Multiple times I have excluded a keyword or phrase only to see it appear in my results. That could likely be a user-error issue rather than a platform issue.

The pricing of the listening features has been a bit of an issue for our office, and in the two years since upgrading we have definitely underutilized it.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite has streamlined our publishing process first and foremost. We have developed a fairly thorough workflow with our social media channels through Hootsuite and has made onboarding new team members a breeze.

The addition of Owly GPT as an AI assistant has been very helpful in idea generation and reworking captions for our content.

 ### 14. Hootsuite - Jobs made easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SUHAS G. | Social Media Assitant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

It makes my everyday job of scheduling posts for my organisation much easier. I can publish across different platforms at the same time, which saves me a lot of effort. I can also monitor performance for each post, making it easier to track which posts are performing best on each platform. The AI feature helps by suggesting good, refined captions. The pricing offers great value, and the support I receive for my day-to-day scheduling tasks is very good.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes the tagging of posts could cause little bit of trouble while posting same post across different platforms. Let's say we want to tag particular person who is having a very common name then it gets difficult to find that person.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that I save lot of time and effort scheduling the posts in advance makes my job easier. I can schedule in whichever time I want. I can use the analytics to try understand how I can improve with my scheduling makes my job even more easier

 ### 15. Hootsuite Makes Multi-Platform Scheduling and Content Ideas Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Senior Digital Marketing Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like that Hootsuite offers all the benefits of scheduling content--I've actually started using it instead of the native scheduling tools that Meta provides because Hootsuite is better. It's also great because all of our scheduled content across multiple platforms can be scheduled/viewed in one place. It also has great AI integrations that help plan hashtags and provide content ideas.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There honestly are no things that I actually dislike. Perhaps a price discount would be nice, but honestly, the pricing is fair for what you get. Or integrating even more platforms? (I'm thinking specifically Substack, since that is one channel we'd like to be able to schedule content for that we're not currently able.)

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Hootsuite provides a benefit for is the scheduling tool. We produce a great number of content across channels, and having the ability to "set it and forget it" is much needed. There have been times when other native tools (Meta's Facebook, specifically) have failed in one way or another, or were buggy, and we were able to use Hootsuite without issue as an alternative.

 ### 16. Helpful Platform for Organized and Effective Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kelsey h. | Program Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

One of my favorite features is the recommended posting times, which has really helped improve engagement and take the guesswork out of scheduling. I also appreciate how the platform helps adjust and optimize content while still keeping the original message and ideas I want to get across.

The analytics and reporting tools are another huge plus. Being able to easily see which posts are performing well, how much traffic they’re bringing in, and overall engagement trends has made it much easier to understand what our audience responds to. Overall, it’s been a very helpful and user-friendly platform for managing and improving our social media presence.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One frustration I’ve had with the platform is the approval process at times. Occasionally posts are rejected without clear suggestions or feedback on what specifically needs to be changed, which can make revisions difficult.

I’ve also run into issues where scheduled posts are still waiting on approval after the planned posting time has already passed. Once that happens, the post essentially expires and the intended timing and engagement opportunity are lost. A smoother approval workflow or clearer notifications around pending approvals would make the scheduling process much more efficient.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps keep our social media organized, efficient, and aligned with our company’s goals and messaging. It saves time through scheduling, performance tracking, and engagement recommendations, while the analytics make it easy to see what content is performing best and what our audience responds to most.

 ### 17. Scheduling, Reports, and a Unified Inbox That Make Social Reporting Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noelle P. | Social Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like the scheduling tools and the reports feature. It is very helpful when crafting my monthly and quarterly social reports. I also really like the automatic message feature and the combined inbox. It makes my job so much easier!

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not like that there is no feature to group Facebook profiles together. We have 27 locations that we cross post on and the site usually slows when we select all of them. Being able to select just one group would be fantastic.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am very thankful that Hootsuite provides a reliable service. The last scheduler we had would not post sometimes, and it was very unreliable. I am also thankful for the combined inbox, and the timed automatic messenger. It is very easy to see what comments/messages we have received in one place. When I am out of office, it ensures that our members will receive a response.

 ### 18. Helpful Upcontent Partnership, and Clear Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue F. | Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love their partnership with Upcontent, it's been really helpful getting current content that fits with my brand's needs. Their reporting dashboards are helpful and clear. I can easily share performance with leaders and provide information quickly. I'm really happy with the level of support the brand offers and the products reliability.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm sad to see the end of individual account managers, this was something that was really necessary so many times throughout onboarding and throughout company changes. It felt like I lost a member of my social team. With that said though, I'm still feeling the same level of customer service through my upcontent team.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is helping me identify what posts are performing, and ideate helpful content for my audience. The addition of ow.ly ai has been a huge impact on ideation. The social listening element has been helpful in illustrating the impact of social for the brand.

 ### 19. Hootsuite: very comprehensive and centralized, but expensive and not always intuitive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** yacine samy c. | data analyste, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is its ability to centralize all social media management on a single platform. Scheduling posts, tracking messages, and analytics are very convenient for saving time on a daily basis. I also appreciate the numerous integrations available with other marketing tools and CRM, which greatly facilitate teamwork and task automation.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What I like least about Hootsuite is mainly its price, which has become very high compared to other tools on the market. For small teams or freelancers, the cost is hard to justify. The interface can also seem quite cluttered and not very intuitive at first, with a real learning curve. Finally, customer support and some social integrations sometimes lack responsiveness, especially when there are connection issues with Instagram or TikTok.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite primarily solves the problem of managing multiple social networks by centralizing everything on a single platform. Instead of switching separately from Instagram to LinkedIn, Facebook, or TikTok, I can schedule my posts, respond to messages, and track performance from a single dashboard. However, the performance remains average, and the AI integration sometimes bugs.

 ### 20. The Ultimate Social Media Sidekick!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Sales Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite makes managing social media an absolute breeze! It integrates perfectly with Linkedin. The user-friendly interface and intuitive dashboard allow me to easily implement a scheduled post, and share content effortlessly across multiple platforms. I love how easy it is to navigate, saving me time and keeping my social media strategy organized. Whether you're a small business owner or a social media pro, Hootsuite is a game-changer. Highly recommend, I use it very frequently!

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What’s not to like? I only wish I’d discovered it sooner. It’s made it much easier to reach our audience using pre-made content from our marketing team, and the ability to set up automated shares for the future is a really great feature.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite has made crossposting and sharing my workplace’s content incredibly easy! The intuitive dashboard allows me to schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms seamlessly, saving time and ensuring consistency in our messaging. Since using Hootsuite, we’ve been able to reach more connections and expand our audience effortlessly. It’s been a huge asset in growing our online presence and engagement. Highly recommend for any team looking to streamline their social media strategy

 ### 21. Hootsuite Makes Social Scheduling and Automation Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Sr. Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite makes it easy to plan ahead and automate tasks, which saves me countless hours when I’m managing content across multiple social media accounts. My creative process has two stages: first, getting ideas into a usable form, and then getting those refined ideas out into the world so they can have an impact.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The guidelines—while based on market-proven data—can sometimes feel restrictive. I understand why it suggests adjusting my content, posting at a different time, or using alternatives to hashtags, but there may be specific reasons I choose to do what I’m doing in that moment.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Hootsuite solves for me is time management. The recommendations for when to capture audience attention are helpful, but my schedule rarely lines up with them. Being able to create content on my own time while still reaching my followers on theirs is a huge benefit.

 ### 22. Streamlines Scheduling, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for posting and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. It makes it so I don't have to use multiple apps to post the same or similar content. Scheduling posts and posting are big parts of my job, and Hootsuite makes it so I can do my job without having to open Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn separately. The initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The UI for creating posts for multiple platforms could use improvement. Tagging is often a pain, especially with IG and FB being Meta platforms. It should try to find the appropriate account on other platforms and show uncertainty. It's also frustrating when adding media like images; if there's a problem with one image on one platform, removing the images from the original setup should work for all three platforms. Instead, I have to make changes to each platform individually.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite allows me to schedule and post on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook without using multiple apps, streamlining my workflow. Our comms team is one person, so any improvement to efficiency has a big impact.

 ### 23. Hootsuite saved my life

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shirley K. | Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I especially appreciate Hootsuite’s reporting capabilities. The reports are clear, well organized, and easy to customize, which makes it straightforward to track performance across multiple platforms from one place. I can quickly review key metrics such as engagement, reach, and audience growth, and then turn that information into actionable insights for our campaigns. The option to export and share reports also streamlines internal reporting, particularly when I’m presenting results to management. Overall, it saves me time and helps support more data-driven decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

While Hootsuite is a powerful tool, it does come with a few drawbacks. Pricing can be quite high, especially for smaller teams or businesses, and some important features are only available on higher-tier plans. The platform also occasionally feels slow, particularly when loading or generating more detailed reports. Also, at times, the reports generator can Although the interface is generally clean, certain workflows such as bulk scheduling or bulk editing can be less intuitive than I’d expect. Integrations work well overall, but there are still occasional limitations depending on the specific platform. And while the analytics are helpful, the AI and insights could be more advanced, especially when it comes to predictive recommendations.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Hootsuite, managing multiple social media accounts felt time-consuming and fragmented. We had to log in to each platform separately, schedule posts manually, and pull reports from different sources, which made it hard to stay consistent and track performance effectively. With Hootsuite, we can now manage all our platforms in one place, schedule content ahead of time, and generate consolidated reports quickly. As a result, our workflow is much more efficient, we save several hours each week, and we’re able to make faster, data-driven decisions using real-time insights.

 ### 24. Hootsuite Tries to Help

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie C. | Social Media Manager and Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Best? Y'all don't do anything to be the best.
The helpdesk takes over 24 hours to respond + gives a generic answer, no actual depth to help.
Scheduling - it doesn't remember what day I chose to make my post for, so then I have to rechoose.
There is no IG Grid viewing where I can see how my whole grid will look and y'all know marketing is visual and we need our IG to look like a museum at first glance. tssk tssk, do better.
Also, this whole LinkInBio, extra stuff, it's just you trying to make more money and still offering a subpar linkinbio.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

-No IG Grid view for scheduling
-No easier way to preschedule link in bio
-Logs you out every 24 hours
-Does not auto save posts youre working on
-Cannot schedule YT Shorts

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You're giving me brain aneurisms. Your help desk takes too long to solve problems. This is benefiting me in sending me to my grave sooner than later due to un-needed stress.

 ### 25. Streamlined Scheduling but Needs Timely Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin C. | Digital Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts for my college, and I like the interface and the analytics. It gives me a full picture of our social media plan for the week, which helps me keep us on brand. I enjoy how these features make it easy to coordinate different brand voices for different channels and schedule content.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that it could be a little quicker to update to current standards. For example: Instagram now supports 20 photos in a post, still in Hootsuite you can only schedule 10. Additionally, you still can't seem to schedule out YouTube shorts content. I wish the drag and drop scheduling could be done by the hour not just daily. Drag and drop posts to the hour instead of having to go into the post itself and change the time.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts, coordinating brand voices for different channels. It provides a full picture of our social media plan, helping keep us on brand. I like the interface and analytics, though I wish scheduling was by the hour.

 ### 26. Easy to plan content. Rudimentary AI. Needs improvement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie S. | Office Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I think it’s super easy to plan out a month’s worth of content in a single day. The data you get back is pretty interesting, although I’m not sure how much it actually helps in practice.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I find the AI pretty rudimentary. It doesn’t really follow the brand voice I’m trying to establish. I’m not sure what the pricing is, but I’m confident it isn’t cheap. Support is okay, but they can’t really help me understand what the stats and numbers mean.

Performance-wise it runs well, but it doesn’t flag missing captions, and it won’t let you edit multiple apps at the same time. That makes adding a first comment with Instagram hashtags a hassle. It was also very difficult to integrate our other accounts, and it required a lot of verification.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to schedule out our content on instagram as opposed to having to wake up super early and individually select photos and make a caption on my own.

 ### 27. Easy Management of Social Accounts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like how easy it is to use and the analytics tools that it offers. I've tried multiple social media managing apps/softwares and their analytics typically do not compare to the depth and relevance of the analytics that Hootsuite offers. I like how easy it is to manage and post on multiple social profiles all in one place. I've tried other platforms but it feels like they tend to glitch often, and I don't have that issue with Hootsuite. I've also never had an issue with relinking social accounts but on other platforms I have had this issue.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think the least helpful thing about Hootsuite is not being able to see an Instagram feed layout. I know for most of our clients having a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing feed is essential for their brands and so having an option to view what your feed will look like with scheduled content would be helpful. I know that Cloud Campaign does this and Rella Social does as well. I also think that the pricing can push some people out of using Hootsuite.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that Hootsuite is solving for us is managing multiple client's social media platforms all at once and in once place. We manage multiple social media accounts and being able to schedule posts and view analtyics for each of them all in one place with the ease of just switching into the right client's social account is great!

 ### 28. Streamlined Social Media Management with Customization Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay M. | Events and Communications Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to post cross-platform on social media accounts for a nonprofit. It allows me to automate the posting process, letting me plan months at a time, which saves a ton of time. It's very easy and convenient to use. I like that it shortens links automatically and the ability to customize for different platforms, like links on Facebook versus 'link in bio' on Instagram. Instead of logging in and editing each post on different apps, scheduling one post across four platforms and changing the messaging for the individual platform on one screen is a huge time saver. The initial setup was fairly easy; within about 20 minutes, everything was connected.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Posting reels and videos does not seem to be as easy. Sometimes it is less trouble to post from my phone.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite automates my posting process, allowing me to schedule months in advance, saving a ton of time. It simplifies posting cross-platform by letting me customize for each platform from one screen.

 ### 29. Social Media for Nonprofits Made Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy B. | AMA Director of Marketing & Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Love that we're able to bring our company's many social media channels into one place where it's easy for us to post across channels with ease. The new reporting features are helpful and the advanced AI features also add. It's easy to keep track of performance and the price is reasonable enough to fit into our nonprofit budget.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Overall I have few complaints about Hootsuite. I would like to see more robust options in reporting over time, particularly with the ability to export reports that I can use to better present to the C-Suite level.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to post across our many channels was difficult for our smaller nonprofit team, but Hootsuite makes it easy to manage our significant list of channels and makes scheduling posts a breeze. It's helped us get on top of our social media game and improves overall results. Easier posting opportunities also boosts performance overall for our organization.

 ### 30. I have scaled back my use, Limited Audience Expansion

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael Sean C. | Bestselling Author & Multimedia Journalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I enjoy that Hootsuite goes across social media but I have scaled back my use and I am not sure I will renew next year. I like that it measures clicks and helps me know which time slots to place my book ads into, and how to post my ads effectively. Setting it up was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm finding a limit to the reach that I can get with Hootsuite. It looks like I'm only reaching the same thousand people, and I need to reach far more than that. It feels like my posts might be getting blocked by social media outlets like Twitter and Instagram because of the frequency. Despite posting some weeks 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it's not reaching enough people. I think somehow they're discounting my posts because they're too frequent. Also, I'm having trouble signing in to my Twitter account and connecting Hootsuite to it.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to boost my book's visibility on social media, as I don't have a large email list. It helps me measure clicks and find the best time slots for my posts, making my social media efforts more effective. I think it is re-posting to the same 1,200 people over and over again.

 ### 31. An excellent way to manage cross-platform social media

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd R. | Marketing and Sales Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I appreciate the ability to manage not only posting to multiple platforms, but also the ability to manage advertising and post boosting directly within the application.

The interface is intuitive, and within minutes of being brought into our company's license of Hootsuite I was able to plan out a month of posts easily. I use Hootsuite daily and have not found an alternative that is as quick and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The information on viewership could be a little more robust. I appreciate the ability to monitor but sometimes replying is a challenge. That said for the time I have to spend, Hootsuite is an excellent resource.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small games company and I have a great deal of responsiblities beyond just daily social media marketing. The time saving features of Hootsuite allow me to tackle a large amount of social outreach, advertising, and review in a short amount of time, which frees me for other necessary activities.

 ### 32. I would recommend Hootsuite to anyone looking to streamline their social media marketing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colby D. | Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite daily to schedule content ahead of time, check how posts are performing and then look at the analytics of my posts to determine the efficacy of my marketing strategy. It's so much wrapped up into one software and it's constantly growing. Pricing is great, which makes this a good ROI for my job. The AI is also improving and has given me some pretty promising results for post ideas and marketing options.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite can, at times, be its own worst enemy. The reality is that integrating with so many complex social media platforms is difficult to maintain, and if a policy changes at Meta or LinkedIn has a glitch, Hootsuite is affected—even though it isn’t necessarily Hootsuite’s fault. It’s simply something I dread: getting disconnected from a social page.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the issue of scheduling. Absolutely removes that from the equation. If I didn't have Hootsuite, managing our various channels would be a monstrous task.

 ### 33. An Innovative Way of Managing Social Media

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renaldo S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The scheduling and planning feature is phenomenal. I can plan an entire month's worth of content and the Hootsuite platform handles the scheduling, optimising and metric tracking of each post. Highly efficient, convenient and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There's some security features that activate when I'm logging in where I have to verify myself before continuing. A bit frustrating, but at the end of the day, I'd much prefer a platform that keeps my identity, activity and info safe. Sometimes my accounts get disconnected and I have to reconnec t them, which can be a mild inconvenience.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figuring out the best times to post can be tricky, but Hootsuite gives its recommendations so I can optimize my content’s effectiveness and reach.

Keeping up with the metrics is sometimes a challenge, yet Hootsuite compiles, organizes, and presents the figures in a neat, comprehensive report that’s easier to review and understand.

Social media management can be very chaotic, but Hootsuite’s features help me stay on track, organized, and as stress-free as possible.

 ### 34. Manage multiple social media platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunjal P. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

This tool allows you to manage multiple social media platforms easily and does the job fairly well. You can select different posting times for each platform, which makes scheduling content very simple. I’ve been using it every day for the past two years. It is definitely a must-have when you have multiple platforms to handle alongside other digital tasks.

The pricing is competitive and offers good value.

Sometimes it lacks performance, but overall it works great. They also provide excellent support for any issues that arise.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There's no feature to add location to your posts. Other thing that I noticed is that for Pinterest you need to create separate Pin to make a post. It should take a same content and post in while you are posting on other sites. Making a separate Pin makes it time consuming. It does not serve the purpose of posting everything at once when Pinterest is a must for you. But overall it does a good job posting on FB, Insta, LinkedIn and Twitter, all at once.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time with easy multi-platform scheduling and use built-in analytics to grow your social media presence. By analyzing platform reports, you can identify growth opportunities and quickly generate data for internal meetings.

 ### 35. Bulk and Future Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carter D. | Development Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Unlike other schedulers, Hootsuite allows you to schedule posts months in advance, allowing the user to have ease of mind if they get busy one week and forget to post on social media. Our organization uses Hootsuite weekly, whether it be for scheduling social media posts (you can schedule on just about and social media site with a click of a button), or checking analytics. We especially like that we can see how we stack up against our "competitors" on social media, allowing us to alter our approach to better our online presence. When we first started using Hootsuite, it was very easy. We created an account, linked our social media accounts, and were on our way! With the helpful tips along the page, we were able to figure out the process. If the tips fell short, customer service is very quick to respond, with helpful and kind answers.

The pricing is very competitive, with Hootsuite offering a more refined and over better performance based software than leading competitors. I tend to write my caption, and then let Hootsuite's AI take it a step further to better my wording to get my point across more coherently!

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One downside, and I may be doing this wrong, is that you can not bulk schedule on various social medias using the recommended times from Hootsuite. You can only use one recommended scheduling time for one account, and it will schedule at this time for any account I have the post scheduling to.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were running into issues on Meta where you could not schedule out past 4 weeks. Our organization has to let people know when we are closed on holidays, when we have events, etc. so it was very important to us that we could schedule out past 4 weeks in advance.

 ### 36. Effortless Multi-Profile Management with a Strong Content Calendar and Approvals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sweta S. | Product Marketing Specialist, Printing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to manage multiple social profiles together, and it simplifies things. It saves a lot of effort. Content calendar I use a lot, it helps me plan ahead and keep everything consistent. I also like the approval process. In a B2B setup, it's important that everything stays on-brand, and this makes that easier. It's also helpful for keeping track of conversations across social media sites so I don't miss anything important.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Reporting is limited for social media profiles. I understand it's a social tool, but having Google ads integrated would make it much easier to present everything to management in one place.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage B2B communication for technical products at Siva Group. Hootsuite helps bring everything into one dashboard. Earlier, handling was tough. Now I just plan content, schedule post and track interactions more smoothly. It helps me to manage messaging and respond faster. It's important to engage with professional, industry focused audience.

 ### 37. Intuitive Social Media Management with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I really like Hootsuite for its Tagging & Campaigns feature which makes reporting easy and helps us understand what content performs best. Simultaneous content creation across multiple channels is seamless, and I can easily adjust for each platform. The UTM tracking feature's UI makes creating UTM codes straightforward. I appreciate Routing and Automation in Inbox 2.0, which ensures the right messages go to the right teams. Owly AI provides us with quick insights and trends. Lastly, the setup process was straightforward, with an easy set-up process.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Inbox 2.0 works well for community management but isn't perfect for customer service workflows. The reporting side of Inbox 2.0 lacks metrics that make sense for contact center teams, especially for team leaders. It doesn't provide daily and hourly breakdowns of agent SLAs, and the SLA reporting isn't intuitive. It also lacks an easy Quality Assurance feature, which most contact centers require. Additionally, we would like a seamless integration to get data out of Hootsuite and into other visualization tools.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite consolidates channel communications and content creation, simplifies reporting, and enhances community management. Tagging aids deep dive reporting, campaigns auto-tag content, UTM tracker simplifies code creation, and Inbox 2.0 improves message routing. Owly AI offers quick insights and trends.

 ### 38. User-Friendly with Room for Analytical Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahoor R. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love that Hootsuite is very user-friendly and easy to use. I also like that there is a Hootsuite Academy that I can study and review on my own if I need it. I love the new OwlyGPT function, which is a built-in AI that helps me with my captions. The academy is great because I can learn new stuff or brush up on my knowledge if I've forgotten something. The AI function, OwlyGPT, is perfect because I don't have to switch between Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini. I can just ask all my questions within Hootsuite and get an answer from the AI, which is really convenient for me.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I would say the analytics section could definitely be improved. I know that we are on the basic plan, but the analytics section needs improvement. I think with the basic section, we should still have access to more reviews and more reports, and we should be able to get more of an analytical report side of it, given that the basic plan is still around hundred fifty dollar a month.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of posting on time across multiple social media platforms. I don't need to juggle between different accounts; I can schedule posts directly from my calendar and get the best posting times to engage my audience better.

 ### 39. Mostly Happy with Hootsuite for 6 years now

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon B. | Webmaster and Social Media Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Easy /intuitive to use and seems to be constantly trying to develop new tools to help users save time on their projects and become more productive for the business(es) overall.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

It feels like a slightly heavy app, and it includes some features I can’t really imagine myself ever using.

As an early adopter of the software, it would have been a nice gesture to grandfather us in at the original price. The main reason our company uses this app is because I recommended it as competitively priced. So when the cost went up while I was still using the same regular features as before, it rubbed me the wrong way a bit. It is what it is.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-posts using the same draft and being able to schedule each one individually or as a group saves me time duplicating tasks for work. Hashtag suggestions and media library also helps streamline workflow sometimes.

 ### 40. Hootsuite Stream Board Makes Real-Time Monitoring Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa S. | Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like Hootsuite's steam board feature. It just makes it easier to keep an eye on everything without felling scattered. I set it up around different channels and few keywords related to education, results and admissions to see conversations as they're happening. I don't miss much, which matters when students or parents are actively asking questions.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Nothing major so far, it's been working well for me. Sometimes social accounts disconnect and I have to reconnect them again. It's not too frequent, but it does happen.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it properly, managing multiple social media accounts felt a bit all over the place. Switching tabs, checking comments separately, trying to keep posting consistent, it gets messy fast. With Hootsuite, it feels more contained. I can plan things out, keep track of what going live, and respond to people without jumping around. For us in education, timing and consistency matter more than people think. So Hootsuite helps a lot.

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

As a marketing agency managing social media for multiple clients, Hootsuite saves us an enormous amount of time. The ability to schedule, monitor, and report across all accounts from one dashboard is invaluable, no more constant platform-switching. The analytics are by far the highlight for me. I've used a lot of tools in this space, and Hootsuite's reporting is the most comprehensive and presentation-ready I've come across. We pull client reports directly from the platform, which cuts hours off our workflow every month. It's the first tool I recommend to anyone running a multi-client social operation.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The pricing can be a tough pill to swallow, especially as you scale and need to add more users or social profiles. For a growing agency, the cost adds up quickly. The interface also has a bit of a learning curve for new team members, it's not the most intuitive onboarding experience out of the box. These are minor complaints given everything the platform offers, but if they streamlined pricing for agencies and simplified the initial setup, it would be a near-perfect tool.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the biggest challenge we face as an agency, managing multiple clients' social media presence without losing time or consistency. Before, we were logging in and out of individual platforms, manually pulling data, and piecing together reports from scratch. Now everything lives in one place. The integrations with platforms like Meta, Instagram, and LinkedIn are seamless and reliable, performance has been consistently strong with minimal downtime or lag across our accounts. The scheduling keeps content calendars running smoothly for every client, and the analytics give us clear, presentation-ready data to make faster decisions. It's saved us several hours per week and made our client reporting significantly more polished. The AI-assisted content suggestions have also been a nice addition for brainstorming captions when we're moving fast. Well worth the investment for any agency operating at scale.

 ### 42. Streamlined Social Media Management with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren M. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like using Hootsuite for scheduling my social media posts weekly and monthly across multiple platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. It's great that I can post in both English and French, encompassing all my language needs. One of my favorite features is the calendar view and its suggested peak times which really takes the guesswork out of when to post. It also offers great wrap-ups so I can see how our social media channels are doing each month and annually. I think it works really well for viewing how each post will actually be published per platform. The initial setup was very easy, which was nice.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think the video upload can get better. I also don't know why but recently when I am posting two or more photos in one post, it doesn't let me change the sequence of the posts unless I post them one by one which is really inconvenient.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling across multiple platforms and languages. It helps me stay organized with my monthly plan and provides performance wrap-ups to monitor channels over time.

 ### 43. Hootsuite is the best scheduling platform for social media and analytics review.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia D. | Sales And Marketing Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I have been using Hootsuite for a few years now. I come form the agency environment, and I love how we can schedule our posts and get comprehensive report analytics of it. I also quite enjoy using OwlyGPT to assist with the creation of social media captions. The overall performance of the platform is great, pricing is fair for the features and integrations you receive. We haven't had the chance to integrate our account with other platforms yet, but we know that there are quite few options of different integrations. Moreover, the team offers great support and onboarding training and everyone is quite responsive when needed. The overall design UI/UX of the platform is easy to use and quite user friendly. It isn't hard to find the tools and information you are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not like how it doesn't allow integrations with TikTok for photos for example, I also have noticed that certain analytics are not being supported anymore, and I also do not like how the integration with Wrike is limited.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be honest, I am not sure if I have faced any problems yet and I am also not aware of current updates. Although, every time we have had a barrier, the team has always been quite responsive to answer our questions.

 ### 44. Streamlined Social Scheduling with Powerful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristal A. | Public Realtions Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule my social media posts across various platforms and appreciate the analytics it provides to see what content is working. I like having all my social media scheduling in one place instead of spread out. I like the calendar view for scheduling, which gives me a quick view of where I have stuff scheduled. The AI components are really helpful for writing alt text. The analytics help me show my boss and other leaders how many people we reach with our content.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I wish there was a less cost for multiple people on one account. I would like to be able to have my team on our account, but the cost rising significantly for additional logins.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts across platforms and for analytics that show what content is working. It consolidates scheduling in one place. The calendar view and AI components help with quick scheduling and writing alt text. Analytics demonstrate audience reach to leadership.

 ### 45. The social media industry standard

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** marcus A. | IT/Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

It's the product that all of the competitors in this market benchmark against. Ease of use, good range of analytics reports, allows you to post in advance on a good wide range of platforms, including Bluesky and Threads which we find very useful. It probably saves us around 45 minutes a day. Having the ability to read and answer replies/DMs etc across multiple social media platforms, and assign answers saves a lot of time, plus it's so much easier to show a ROI on Hootsuite when you can show there's no duplication of answers. The analytics have really improved over the last year or so. We find the Streams feature really useful to keep a track of what's posted but it's buried under the More section.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There are no analytics for Bluesky yet. It's quite pricey if you just use it to just schedule your posts to Social Media otherwise it's quite competitive. Product features are skewed to agencies and brands who are selling products. We use it to get content out to our social feeds, so a lot of the general homepage advice on Hootsuite is irrelevant to us. Would be nice if we could edit the homepage to show information that we find useful and have quicklinks to features we actually find useful, not what Hootsuite thinks we'll find useful. Sending questions to customer support could be made a lot easier and support could answers questions a lot quicker than it does currently.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We post out news items from our website across a range of social media three or four times a day. Hootsuite enables us to make posts across all of the sites with just a few clicks and lets us see all of the results of the social media posts in one place. We don't have to search across all of the platforms to see how we're doing. There's a single interface for uploading that doesn't change, whereas other platforms are constantly moving things around. We can also schedule social posts ahead of time and the new social listening feature allows us to see what our competitors are up to and track any new trends. We are a business that works in multiple time zones and works 100% remotely so the Inbox 2.0 feature is invaluable. With it we can monitor and coordinate answering social media replies/DMs quickly and without duplication. By using Hootsuite we're probably saving around 45 minutes a day.

 ### 46. A Lifesaver for Scheduling Posts Ahead of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laryssa I. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Being able to schedule multiple posts ahead of time has been a lifesaver for me. I work at a non-profit with a limited budget and am a one-man show in the marketing department. Being able to do this saves me time and allows me to work on other projects knowing my posts are going out on time.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The social listening tool not being fully active or having to pay additionally for this. I thought this was included and was looking forward to using it, but I have to use talkwalker on a separate account and it is not that great of a listening tool IMO.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving back time. Like I stated in the previous question, working in non-profit industries you are doing multiple things and wearing several hats with a limited budget and limited time. Being able to streamline and plan posts ahead of time allows for better productivity.

 ### 47. Streamlined Social Media Management with Scheduling and Calendar View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan H. | Brand Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love the organization. I run 20+ social media accounts and Hootsuite makes it super easy to see everything at once. Having all my platforms in one dashboard saves me so much time and keeps me from constantly switching between apps.

The scheduling feature is a huge win too—it helps me plan content ahead, stay consistent, and not feel like I’m scrambling to post in real time. I also really like being able to preview posts before they go live, especially when I’m managing multiple brands and need everything to look polished and on-brand.

The calendar view has been a game changer for visualizing content across all accounts, and it makes it easier to spot gaps or overlaps in posting. Overall, it’s made managing a high volume of accounts feel way more streamlined and less overwhelming.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I love the organization. I run 20+ social media accounts and Hootsuite makes it super easy to see everything at once. Having all my platforms in one dashboard saves me so much time and keeps me from constantly switching between apps.

The scheduling and calendar features are also a huge win—they make it easy to stay ahead and keep content consistent across multiple brands.

That said, there are still a few limitations that can be frustrating. I’m currently limited to posting 10 photos at a time to Instagram and Facebook through Hootsuite, even though both platforms now allow up to 20. It feels like the platform is a bit behind on that update.

Another downside is not having access to Instagram’s music library when scheduling posts. Since audio is such a big part of content performance right now, I often have to go back and post directly through Instagram or Facebook instead, which takes away from the convenience of scheduling everything in one place.

Overall, it’s a great tool for organization and planning, but I do wish it kept up a bit more with native platform features.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is solving the biggest problem I have: managing a high volume of accounts efficiently without things slipping through the cracks.

Running 20+ social media accounts means juggling different brands, audiences, and posting schedules all at once. Without a centralized platform, I’d be constantly logging in and out of apps, trying to keep track of what’s been posted where, and risking missed posts or inconsistent content.

Hootsuite brings everything into one place, which helps me stay organized, plan ahead, and actually see the full picture of my content across all accounts. The scheduling and calendar tools especially help me stay consistent and proactive instead of reactive.

The biggest benefit for me is time and mental clarity—it streamlines my workflow, reduces overwhelm, and allows me to focus more on creating quality content rather than just managing logistics.

 ### 48. Hootsuite Makes Social Media Scheduling Fast, Easy, and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** American C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is how much it simplifies social media management. It’s very user-friendly, even for beginners, and it makes scheduling posts fast and efficient. I also really appreciate how the AI helps me write and organize content, which saves time and effort. Having all my social media platforms in one place is a major advantage—it keeps everything organized and streamlined, and it makes staying consistent a lot easier.

Hootsuite also has strong integrations with other tools, which adds even more value when managing workflows. Overall, the platform performs very well, and the pricing feels worthwhile with a solid return on investment. On top of that, the support and onboarding process were smooth and straightforward, making it easy to get started and see results quickly.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There isn’t much I don’t like about Hootsuite. That said, it would be great if there were an easier way to edit or reschedule a post from one central place after it’s been scheduled across all social media platforms, rather than having to update each one individually.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is saving me time and money thanks to its integrations and AI intelligence. Being able to measure campaign results in one place is a real benefit for me and my team. The ability to schedule posts ahead of time has also made things easier for staff—they can set it and forget it, and work ahead when they have planned time off.

 ### 49. Easy-to-Use, Budget-Friendly Social Scheduling with Great Integrations and Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendall H. | Brokerage/Marketing Assistant (Assistante Courtage/Marketing), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The user interface is designed in such a way that makes Hootsuite very easy to use and save ideas to boards for later use. Our company uses Slack and its integration with this platform along with Mailchimp also makes workflows easier. Hootsuite performs well and rarely has issues with posting content, and resetting platofrm logins is very easy. Compared to other social media scheduling platforms, Hootsuite remains well within our budget and is noticeably more cost effective for the benefits it provides. Other competing platforms do not offer the same amount of connected accounts for the same or better price. Support is a click away and useful when the rare issue arises. The OwlyAI is also helpful for ideation and editing.

All in all, being able to save post drafts as virtual 'sticky notes' is very helpful for me to plan ahead and keep my workflow organized. I especially like the analytics to track engagement and see what days and times work best for best performance.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Our company has yet to discover a great way for the review process each week. The Slack integration is nice, but I want to be able to send a drafted post to a Slack channel for other members of my team to review before it goes out. Right now, our process is basically verbal.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company has 9 accounts across 4 different industries and Hootsuite saves hours and hours each week and allows me to plan months ahead. Posting manually would be the bane of my existence, but Hootsuite allows me to set and forget, essentially.

 ### 50. Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Social Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giorgia F. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. I find the platform very useful and versatile. I like that posts can be updated, edited, postponed, or brought forward in a smooth and practical way, and I use it daily. The statistics are also very simple and allow me to prepare different dashboards according to needs. The convenience of having to post content on different channels simultaneously is a great advantage. I appreciate the ease of use and the clean and modern interface. The dashboards related to the data of the various accounts are convenient and can be adjusted according to usage needs. I can change the modules easily based on requests. Moreover, the initial setup of Hootsuite was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The planning of Instagram stories and mentions on Instagram could be improved. I would like the ability to add stickers, location, music, and make the mentions clickable.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. It is practical and versatile, allowing me to post on different channels simultaneously. I love the modern interface and the data dashboards, which I can easily customize for my needs.
