What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Being able to schedule posts across all of our social media channels in one easy-to-use platform makes Hootsuite one of my favorite tools. I can hop into the platform and visually see the posts that are scheduled on the calendar on each channel. This lets me notice any gaps in content posting and address them right away. I also like the preview of the post for each channel. It's easy to get up-and-running right away after you connect your channels. I tend to use Hootsuite at least a few times per week. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

There are sometimes issues with Hootsuite disconnecting from Threads, and this means a post needs to be rescheduled. Hootsuite does send an email notification so the issue can be addressed. The cost is also a bit higher than that of some other tools, so it may not be worth the investment unless you are posting to many different channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite's intuitive interface and robust scheduling features stand out the most. I love the ability to manage multiple social media accounts in one centralized dashboard, which saves a tremendous amount of time. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is one of the easiest interfaces I have ever worked with for social media management. The platform is incredibly intuitive and I can bring new users up to speed quickly and with confidence that they can function independently. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The cost is the only thing I do not like about Hootsuite. I work for a small business so when platforms increase their pricing to match the market, it can make it difficult to keep getting approval for the subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

The layout of the platform, particularly the calendar function is incredibly nice to look at and easy to use. It makes planning the week's social media calendar very simple. I'm a very visual person so I love thus, The analytics reports are also very user-friendly and simple to generate. It does give you quite a few data points to look at, and having a platform generate that data for you and export it into a visually pleasing and understandable report saves me an incredible amount of time.

One of my favorite parts is that when you're composing a new post, it shows you a preview of how the posts will look on each platform you're posting to. I often make edits to my posts based on how those previews look. It's a great feature.

I will also add that I've been to a few of Hootsuite's free webinars that they hold on social media management, and I appreciate those opportunities very much. Some are more general and some are more in-depth and specific, but I can tell they are all well thought out. It means a lot that the Hootsuite team genuinely cares about its users. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I've had a couple issues with the data. Sometimes an analytics report will give me numbers that don't make sense and I won't notice until I'm preparing an engagement report. However, if I refresh the auto-generated report, the numbers will correct. Not sure why it does this sometimes but this is something to keep in mind while using the analytics feature. Also, I tend to export my reports as a PowerPoint because Hootsuite makes them look all nice and pretty and easy to look at, but the reports tend to come out all jumbled with slides out of order and completely mixed up. There is some work involved with preparing those reports, you can't always just export them and send them on their way as is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite's Planner is the feature I appreciate most. It allows us to efficiently manage future scheduling across 10 different social channels, offering both a comprehensive overview of all scheduled content and the flexibility to focus on specific channels as needed. The drag-and-drop functionality makes rescheduling effortless, which is especially useful when plans change. Additionally, the ability to schedule content months or even years in advance helps with long-term planning. Another valuable feature is the image adjustment tools, which allow for quick edits without needing to use Photoshop, saving time and streamlining the content creation process.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite allows me to post on Instagram, two Facebook accounts, plus Twitter all at the same time! I have used it for work since August/September of 2020, and it has been a great experience. I never knew programs like this existed until I got into my job as Director of Communications. One of my favorite features is how it suggests optimal times to post, based on the engagement of viewers from previous posts. It is easy to use and very user friendly. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The only two downsides I've experienced is that sometimes accounts will disconnect, although reconnecting them is quick and easy, and items will fail to post for a variety of reasons. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I've been using the Hootsuite social media schedule service for several years. At first with a free account and then I invested in the paid account for more platform profiles. I find that the data analytics telling me which posts performed well and demonstrating suggested times to increase performance is really helpful in targeting my audience with content they need. In using Hootsuite over the years it has upgraded it's performance. The one thing I don't like is I get comfortable in the rut of how it used to work and when they add features it gives me a learning curve to adapt to the enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite solves the problem of needing to keep social media accounts current and active across multiple platforms. It is easy to update LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for several different brand pages and a personal account. I can schedule out and see a timeline of the hours as well as days and month at a time to be sure that holidays are noted, birthday shout outs are remembered and across the platforms I have engaged, commented and posted all inn one space. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I work for a smallish non-profit and being able to plan out all my social media communications weeks or even months in advance makes a huge difference in my workflow. I can look back on the previous year and duplicate relevent posts to reuse, and it's always easy to see what times and days work best for posts, based on previous months' engagment. The calendar view makes it easy to drag and drop to rearrange posts and to see any gaps I may have missed in the week's schedule. I love the new feature that shows all the funny "special" days on the calendar, like National Superhero Day, or World Wildlife Day - everyone thinks I am super on top of things because I never forget a red latter day, even an obscure one! Additionally, tech support has generally been very helpful when I have needed to contact them for assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite does have a tendency to get disconnected occasionally or miss sending a scheduled post, but I feel like this has improved recently so maybe it's less of a problem now than in the past. It would be nice if the internal editor was a little fancier so if you upload a photo or video that doesn't fit it's easier to fix without going back into Photoshop or Premiere, etc. I am not a fan of the AI integration or the big push to have it write posts, but that is just personal preference. Being able to schedule posts way in advance and trusting the application to handle the post uploads allows me to work on other things and not constantly be worrying about socials. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is very user intutitive. I like that it's easy to use from either desktop or mobile. It's very easy to integrate with multiple platforms. I also like how easy it is to chat with customer support, when needed. The platform is easy to use daily, or to schedule weeks at a time. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

One of my least favorite things about Hootsuite is from their mobile app. You cannot reschedule content to be posted in real time. It has to be posted at least 10 minutes in the future, where the desktop allows you to reschedule in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Hootsuite to manage social media for our business - it saves a tremendous ammount of time to be able to post to all platforms at once, schedule posts, and review aggregate data and engagement from a single dashboard.

We also use the amplify platform as a core deliverable for our clients, by providing them a platform to intergrate all social accouts, but filled with content related to their businesses that they can use to expand their reach and client engagemenet. The ability to manage, create and distribute content in amplify for our clients is extremely easy

Lastly - we manage social media content development, deployment and management for a number of our clients - Hootsuite allows us to easily manage their content, post on their behalf and report on the success we're seeing to help enhance our own valye proposition.
