Hootsuite does an incredible job. The calendar feature and scheduling tools are great and perfect for both beginners and advanced users. The analytics are detailed, in depth, and provide great insights for us. The customer service with our account rep is flawless and he is always looking for ways to help us out. We use Hootsuite every single day and love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great to have more industry competitors or companies in Hootsuite that we could compare ourselves to. Working in the sports industry, we have a very unique niche that is hard to replicate what most other industries are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Hootsuite for several years now and couldn't recommend it enough. Our office produces a large volume of content and the scheduling system within Hootsuite is what makes that possible. And they are continually adding features that make scheduling and management even easier, such as creating collaborative IG posts or the ability to leave comments and edits on drafts/scheduled posts. I don't really see a "downside" to Hootsuite. I think the biggest challenge we have is that social platforms are constantly evolving and changing, so making sure that Hootsuite can adapt to those changes is key. Sometimes it can take longer for Hootsuite to "catch up" and that occasionally means planning, posting, analyzing is harder in Hootsuite for that brief time. I’ve been using Hootsuite for managing Seco's social media, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Not only is the platform user-friendly and packed with essential features, but the success manager assigned to my account has been outstanding. They consistently follow up to ensure that I’m making the most of the platform and provide personalized advice that genuinely helps me improve my social strategy.
What also stands out is how Hootsuite stays ahead of the curve with updates and new tools. With the rise of AI, they’ve integrated AI-powered features that make it even easier to create engaging content and optimize post timing. The dedication to keeping up with the latest trends, along with the hands-on support, makes Hootsuite a fantastic choice for anyone serious about social media management! Although Hootsuite offers analytics, they can be basic on some plans. For detailed, in-depth analytics, you may need to upgrade to a higher plan or use additional tools. Also, With so many features, Hootsuite can feel overwhelming at first, especially for beginners. It takes time to understand the full range of capabilities, and some users may find the interface a bit complex initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite has truly been a game changer for my business when it comes to managing social media. The platform streamlines the process of scheduling posts across multiple accounts, saving me valuable time each day. It allows me to plan my content in advance, ensuring that I can maintain a consistent and professional online presence without feeling overwhelmed.
The analytics feature is another highlight—Hootsuite gives me the ability to track engagement, which helps me understand what content resonates most with my audience. This insight has been invaluable for tweaking my strategy and ensuring I'm always hitting the mark.
Overall, Hootsuite has been instrumental in optimizing my social media efforts. It’s user-friendly, efficient, and has made staying organized a breeze. I highly recommend it to any business looking to enhance its social media management! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside of Hootsuite is that its pricing can be a bit steep for small businesses with limited budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a one-stop-shop for social media. Content and copy creation and generation, product integrations, social listening, backend management, community engagement, etc. Previously, I was having to do everything natively. Having everything in one location immediately simplifies and centralizes my workflow.
Analytics are super helpful. As each platform measures differently, having them in one template in one location helps tremendously. Replying to messages and seeing tags? These are things I would typically commonly miss. With the inbox, it filters through everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think the social listening tool, at least on the basic account, is all that great.
I think the trainings are relatively redundant. In my opinion, the first training with our team should have started off with how to post and other basics, not tags and approval workflows. I wish the trainings were 1:1 with my customer succcess team so I can actively ask clarifying questions instead of having to put them in a box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-It's user friendly and it allows me to manage different profiles in a centralized way.
-I also like the analytics they provide which helps me understand the impact social media can bring to the company.
-I like the Streams and you can easily visualize each social media channel parameter you're interested in.
-We use Hootsuite daily to schedule content, the implement of the tool was easy and the team adapted and learned easily.
-The customer support has been good so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-The social listening tool doesn't work for a company like us, althought we're paying for this service, which is annoying. Our industry is very niche and our brand name is a common name depending on the country, which makes it difficult to filter, so we can have results relevant to us.
-It's great that Hootsuite has an integration with Salesforce. However, it is very limited as it follows a manual process, it'd be more useful if the integration could allow us to see the leads activities on social media in Salesforce.
-The Google My Business and Canva integrations require you to login every time you're going to schedule some content, which is time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite allows me to easily schedule posts for over 100 social media pages. I love the duplicate post feature and ability to easily select which brands I want to schedule a post to. The analytics portion of Hootsuite is also very user friendly and easy to navigate. I'm able to pull everything I need for our digital marketing analytics dashboard when I need it. Additionally, the customer support team is very reachable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a "select all" button when publishing to multiple networks/social media pages. We manage 100+ accounts and having to select every page the platform begins to lag and it ultimate takes a very long time to post 1 post to all of those pages. There have been delayed responses at times in finding resolutions to problems. I wish there were more capabilities in the INbox 2.0 like sharing story mentions, liking Instagram comments, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes social media management across multiple channels—like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more—a breeze. Its intuitive interface allows you to easily monitor all your replies, mentions, and direct messages in one convenient dashboard, so you’re always in touch with your audience. The scheduling feature is also fantastic, enabling you to plan posts across networks for optimal timing, which really helps maximize engagement. Another benefit of Hootsuite is its insightful, customizable analytics, which allow you to track performance and gather meaningful data that’s presentation-ready for management. Plus, Hootsuite often hosts highly informative webinars, which provide valuable tips and strategies to help you get the most out of the platform. It’s a powerful, all-in-one tool for any organization looking to elevate their social media presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Hootsuite provides useful features for managing social media, there are some limitations that impact our experience. For starters, the platform is on the pricier side, which can be a drawback for smaller teams. Additionally, customer support can sometimes be slow to respond, which isn’t ideal when urgent issues arise. Functionality-wise, we’ve faced several challenges. The “Post Now” feature doesn’t display posts on the planner, leaving us uncertain if they’re pending or scheduled. We’ve also had instances of scheduled posts failing without any notification, which we only noticed while reviewing our social channels. Scheduling Facebook posts with videos has been another issue—frequently, we get errors about unsupported aspect ratios, despite these videos working fine when posted directly on Facebook. We also miss the ability to click and drag scheduled posts on the planner to adjust dates or times, which was a convenient feature for quick changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I work for an organization that has four portfolios comprised of 19 facilities. Having the ability to post one unified message for multiple facilities across a variety of social media platforms helps streamline my workflow. In addition, Hootsuite makes it easy for me to duplicate and schedule posts. This is especially helpful for job postings or upcoming events that I want to promote for a number of weeks. My team and I use Hootsuite on a daily basis and would find it very difficult to post the volume of things we do without it. The program is easy to use and I've had a positive experience with their customer service team during a recent upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program lags when I have posts that involve a number of facilities and platforms. I would like to have more options for adding filters, etc to Instagram Stories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part of Hootsuite is being able to create a content library and upload content for my team that they can access when they need to post it. I use Hootsuite all month long but my team only uses it when they need to schedule posts. It's convenient for me and my team as we are all on different timelines.
Another feature I enjoy is the analytics tab. It is easy to see the results and then integrate them into the reports I create. Overall, the implementation and integration into my reports is very seamless.
I have never had to use customer support because Hootsuite is so user friendly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that I dislike about Hootsuite is the "calendar" feature. For our company, we have so many posts going out that the calendar can look crowded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
