Hootsuite has been a reliable tool for our social media management for the past 7 years. Its user-friendly interface and extensive support resources make it easy to navigate, even for beginners. The platform’s robust analytics allows us to delve deep into our social media performance, providing valuable insights to inform our strategy. Readily available customer support through chat, contract manager, and discussion forums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Hootsuite offers excellent value for money, there are a few areas where it could improve. Occasional technical glitches can be frustrating, especially when it comes to features like LinkedIn tagging and Instagram Story scheduling. Additionally, the ability to edit scheduled posts across all platforms would be a significant time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootesuite is super easy to learn and use. As my company's sole social media & marketing person, I find myself using Hootsuite almost every day to post and view reports on how well the posts are doing. I also enjoy being able to respond to people's messages across all platforms within Hootsuite.
I'm also enjoying the AI features, specifically the AI Hashtag suggestions. Makes my life SO much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is more expensive than I'd like it to be, but for the ease of use and number of features, it would be worse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite is hands down the best option for agencies managing multiple accounts. Other platforms limit the number of accounts you can add, making it challenging for agencies like ours with 50+ social media accounts to find a scheduling tool that meets their needs. I’d love to see the reporting system become more user-friendly as it can take a bit of time to navigate. An Instagram grid view in the planner would also be a great addition to make it easier to visualise the grid when scheduling content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate a central hub to send social media posts from and not needing to be on each site daily at the right time and losing inevitable minutes caught up in the scroll. I use Hootsuite two to four times a week, and it's nice to know that things have been scheduled. I appreciate the metric reports, which sometimes has data I'm no longer able to access on the sites themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish Hootsuite autosaved drafts. I often forget to hit save as I'm bouncing between tabs and juggling tasks, and I am often logged out overnight before I get a chance to come back in and complete them and I am occasionally needing to rewrite and reschedule (essentially do double work). I'd like if it had a Bluesky integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the most helpful tools Hootsuite provides is analytics on your socials. I don't even know all of the data I can pull yet, because there are so many different options to choose from based on what you need. I also really appreciate Hootsuite's insights. Hootsuite has many different educational pieces to learn from and grow. It also recommends time and date for posting which I have found to be super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have only been using Hootsuite for a month and I do only have one thing I "dislike." 1. You cannot give your posts an internal name on Hootsuite so they show up as the caption which can make it a bit confusing when you have multiple posts per day. 2. I wish that if you are posting the same post to different platforms that instead of breaking them out individually once they are scheduled, you could still go in and edit the caption or photo once instead of doing it for each post. I like that Hootsuite allows you to have peace of mind when managing social media, you don't have to worry about posting something at a certain time. For example, our "Happy Holidays" posts can go out when nobody is in the office. It's easy to use and to post across multiple platforms at once. I use it frequently for managing our social media platforms and it's a great tool to save time and ensure all your posts are consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is a bit confusing and I think they're is too much white space; I preferred when the website was more colorful. It seemed more easy to navigate that way. The homescreen seems to be overwhelming. Also, I wish tagging was a bit easier. On LinkedIn, I have a hard time finding people and businesses I want to tag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is easy to use to manage multiple social media accounts and the only service which has reliably posted to all our platforms. I rarely run into something Hootsuite can't do; and when I do, it's clear. I don't spend precious time puzzling over whether I can do something through this platform. Being able to schedule stories, reels, and more has taken social media from a once a day task for our small nonprofit to a once weekly task! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no ability to use trending audio, add stickers, etc to things posted through HootSuite. This is probably a limitation more through Meta than anything else, but it does limit some kinds of utility for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how simple it is to plan ahead with social posts across all platforms. You only need to create the post once and can schedule it way in advance - so that you can get all of your work done at once and then not worry about it later. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, which is a bonus, and I enjoy being able to track analytics. This system is all you need to effectively run social media for business. One thing I don't love about using Hootsuite is not being able to schedule ahead a singular post for multiple postings. For example, if I want to schedule a photo to be posted once a week for a month, I have to schedule ahead the post for one day, then go in and make the post again (or duplicate it) and schedule it for another day, and so on. I would love to be able to schedule a post to send at multiple days and times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A very easy to use and cost effective tool for most businesses looking to work in social and social listening. Ease of setup and team designations is very simple and user friendly. Support is very quick and effective (IF) you ever need them. The tool has withstood the test of time (devised initially as a direct competitor to Tweetdeck "Hoot" ), but was savvy enough to expand to many more use cases than a "one trick pony." This is a tool we use daily for scheduling content and engaging our clients' audiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the sizing elements of media feels enforced on a platform level rather than the native platform restrictions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the convenience of scheduling posts in advance for several different kinds platforms. It's also nice to see the social score for the week, so I can reflect on my performance. Hootsuite offers a robust database of information for social media from ideas on how to up your engagement to articles about trending topics of how to use the platforms. I find myself often posting to Instagram directly since there's additional features that I can use in the app which are unavailable through Hootsuite. Story publishing is one of them. They claim it's possible via the mobile app, but I haven't been abel to get the mobile app working for me. Also, adding a location can really boost your posts and that is not available via Hootsuite.
