Hootsuite is easy to use. I enjoy the different features that Hootsuite offers, including the free webinars, trend reports, AI writer, analytics, and the recommended times to post. Hootsuite makes it easier to schedule out my social media posts and keep track of what I'm doing right and what areas I can improve on.

My one complaint about Hootsuite isn't necessarily a Hootsuite-issue. I'm unable to link my organization's LinkedIn page to Hootsuite anymore. I believe this was due to a change with LinkedIn's third-party permissions, but it's problematic that I'm unable to use LinkedIn on Hootsuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is rare to find a team outside of your organisation who care so much about helping you achieve your objectives. We have been using Hootsuite and its associated products, such as Talkwaker and Tint, for years now and I wouldn't use any other supplier. Every Hootsuite team member has gone above and beyond for us and currently Alex Wedderburn is helping us implement a major digital transformation project which will bring in enhanced governance and supercharge our impact on social media. The team's expertise in our sector brings so much added value to everything we do with them, it really is like they are an extension of my team. We use Hootsuite and assocaited products multiple times every day. They are extremely easy to use and have intergrated into our workflow really easily. I am really struggling to think of downsides. The only thing I can think of are some of the limits on community management functionality, but I want to be really clear that that is down to the social media platforms' limits rather than Hootsuite's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been working in marketing for over four years and Hootsuite has been the top social media management software to use at the successful companies I worked at. I like Hootsuite because it's easy to schedule a single post on multiple platforms at once, it tells you the best time to post based on your audience's activity, great graphs, and you can easily do some social listening on different topics that are relevant to your niche. Very straightforward and simple, useful tool for scheduling posts. Duplication features are nice, and the media library is helpful. As someone who posts for multiple clients almost daily, this is a huge time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the recent past, Hootsuite had an unacceptably high rate of failed postings due to errors on their end; and worse, the notification emails would often not send to alert users the post didn't go live. I experienced this many times in 2023 into 2024. But these have been largely ironed out; posts fail much less frequently in recent months.
There's also way more AI being shoehorned into every corner of this product. Stop that; your users don't want it, and their followers are adverse to it. And those that do try it quickly discover that the AI writing is stilted and often inaccurate, and followers can quickly tell what images are AI-created (and have a significantly negative reaction to them that can cause brand damage). Hootsuite has been an invaluable tool for managing our company's social media presence, especially on LinkedIn. The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, making content planning and scheduling seamless. I appreciate how it allows me to stay organized and maintain a consistent posting schedule without the hassle of manual uploads, allowing me to schedule a number of posts in one timeslot. Rather than having to constantly think about posting, I could schedule time in my calendar just a few times a month and get my social media content plan actioned. The only minor issue I've encountered is that, on rare occasions, our company accounts become unlinked, requiring a quick reset. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall efficiency and convenience Hootsuite provides, and generally the system is easy to integrate and relink the accounts. If there’s one area that could use some improvement, it would be the analytics. While the data is incredibly useful, sometimes it takes a bit of digging to find the exact metric we need for a specific platform. I think some of the content planning tools could be enhanced slightly to include things like notes. There isn't a direct way to add or note creator collaborations for example in the calendar planner, so we are noting those in Outlook when it would be great to be able to add a note in the Hootsuite Calendar. We recently switched to Hootsuite from another Social Media monitoring site that was a big fat lemon. Hootsuite has turned my lemon into lemonade, and thank goodness. They had the perfect plan for our business that is easy to use for both helping us track reviews and monitoring all things social media. Their support teams have been great, and integration was simple. I'm in Hootsuite daily to ensure that it's business as usual and that our customers are getting the support they need from us. So far I haven't found something that I truly dislike, again it's early so I'm still learning to navigate the site. As I learn more, I might find something, but coming from a social media monitoring site that did nothing for me, I can see Hootsuite doing the same, in fact they have already improved our business 100-fold with the ease of their site. Hootsuite is easily the best in the industry. Implementing it was a breeze, and their customer support was fantastic when I had an issue. Working with my team to integrate it into our broader ecosystem is going well so far. I also like how easy it is to use. Because it is so simple I find myself using it when I need to but not excessively. Hootsuite doesn't feel like another program to manage, and I am grateful for the level of skill put into its design.
