I like several features. The primary social media posting options are easy to use. OwlyWriter AI helps when I have a writer's blog and want to create content for my business. The duplicate post button is very helpful when I want to share the same content a few times throughout the following month. It is not affordable. While I have clients to support the expense, other small business owners (specifically solopreneurs or micro-small businesses) may not have the funds for this app. The Ads section is excellent but may not be useful for smaller companies. Posting each day is not stressfuul anymore, as I have the caption copied automatically and content downloaded at theat immediate moment to my gallery to upload at that moment. Instagram has a feature where you can post 2 to 20 images as a carousel post. Apparently Hootsuite has permission to upload only up to 10 images to instagram. this can be an inconvenience, considering that Instagram algorithm prefers accounts that post carousels with more than 10 images. I like that Hootsuite allows me to focus on exactly what I need to do, without any confusing additional features. If I need to schedule content, in bulk or one by one, I can easily do so. If I want to check in on one account on every platform or just one, I can do that. Typically I work alone, but if necessary I can give access to another person or an intern and they can easily catch-on with minimal supervision so it's simple to implement for each client. All in all, it makes my job easier since I use it on an eaily basis. If I've ever had issues with integrations, I've been able to chat with customer support to resolve my problem. I dislike the price structure that has changed over time but I understand why it has. I also wish I had more flexibility when pulling stats for analytics on each platform that I use. Hootsuite is able to bring and present data in a way that we can review our performance in multiple views, which helps us monitor our progress. Scheduling is easy to use and it now has tiktok included so we can organise and plan our posts from one central place rather than going into each app natively. Hootsuite has been a great tool for me as the Social Media Manager for 101 Mobility of Greater Philadelphia. It’s great for me to post all our content in one spot and have it be shared to all our platforms rather than me switch back and forth constantly. Now, after much time has passed, I'll randomly find that a post never went up with no notification that such a thing happened.

There won't be a reason or anything. It will just say it failed. It doesn't even try again in a few minutes.

I don't work every day, so I won't catch it until later and be extrememely disappointed.

The new inbox is HORRIBLE. I cannot stand it nor the way it default sorts by oldest comments. I don't get notifications like I used to and it's much harder to "dismiss" old messages I don't need anymore.

All in all, hootsuite has a range of features such as the calendar, analytics, 'listening' which are very useful in improving our understanding of our results and customer base. The only downside is i feel like posting stories can be a little clunk or not entirely functional. The in-app editing software can also be a little slow for me too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can see the multiple channels for each of your socials. The planner aspect is super helpful as I schedule weeks' content across 3 campaigns, varying channels, etc. It is great to see what is happening and help plan my time accordingly. These features allow me to implement my social media strategies and integrate them across platforms. The login is a little janky. I also find the 'Stream' and 'Boards' sections confusing and opt not to use them much because of this. Some areas are not easy to use such as those I just mentioned. Hootsuite helps so much in making sure things are consistent between social channels. What once was an arduous task of scheduling posts one by one with every social channel, is now just a one and done. The UI is easy to navigate and the calendar view makes it easy to see what's on the agenda thanks to the holidays populating the tabs. Sometimes it's hard to refresh the Inbox portion, and there's currently no way to select multiple Inbox messages at a time. I want to be able to select and set to 'resolved' but in order to do that, I'd have to do it one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite allows me to "set it and forget" all my social media posts. I love that I can post one message that spreads across all platforms, but also have the ability to access each channel seperately to tweak text and images where appropriate. Easy to use. The only issue I have SOMETIMES is that the cropping tool for images (specifically for Instagram) does not always save. I'd love for the platform to automatically "fit to size" the image for each platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
