The ease of going to one platform to make all of my posts, schedule in advance and set it and forget it great for not only my business but also to handle the social media for my clients as well. It's a great resources that is a game-changer to save time and streamline our processess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't really much that I don't like about the software - it would be nice to be able to bold text in my posts on LinkedIn although I'm not sure that is a limitation of Hootsuite or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the seamless integration and how easy it is to choose which social media platform you are planning to post to (and which brand), and how over time the native AI is able to generate captions that sound like your brand voice, while still staying true to the information you're trying to share. Before using Hootsuite, I would spend an embarrassing amount of time trying to decide on a caption and hashtags for a social post, but now it only takes a few minutes. I also love how Hootsuite determines the best days/times to post based on each brand's engagement rates - also taking out the guess work. Bonus shout out: being able to post to multiple brand platforms at once is also SUCH a time saver. I really value having most of the social scheduling for each brand being done in one place instead of having a million tabs open.
Thanks Hootsuite team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As for downsides, when it comes to optimizing captions for posts, it's a bit of an inconvenience to only be able to choose one social platform at a time. For example: I want to make similar social posts for one of our brands, but want to post it on two platforms, Facebook and LinkedIn; the only way I can get an optimized caption is if I pick one or the other, not both. Even if having the same caption for both platforms isn't recommended, I think giving marketers the option to do so would give them more autonomy while making it easier to use. It's also a bummer you can't schedule LinkedIn carousels and have to go in to natively post it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So easy to manage social media accounts in one place. You can schedule all of your content way ahead of time and there are AI tools to help you optimise content for different platforms too. Saves so much time in the workplace and the app means you can edit on the go.
It is really easy to track performance on the analytics tool and you are even able to listen to conversations most relevant to you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are tagging issues or issues with analytics - on the whole though this is a really useful tool to have access to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve been using Hootsuite everyday, and what I love most is how easy it is to use. The platform is super intuitive, even when managing multiple accounts. Setting it up was straightforward, and it didn’t take long to get the hang of everything.
The number of features is great—scheduling, analytics, and team collaboration all in one place. I also appreciate how well it integrates with different platforms, making content management seamless.
Customer support has been helpful when needed, though I rarely have issues since the platform runs smoothly. Overall, Hootsuite makes it way easier to stay consistent with content without feeling overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside for me is that we can’t schedule META(Facebook and Insta) Stories, which would be super useful. Also, even though my language is set to French, the platform still shows a mix of both French and English at the same time—some tabs are in French, while others stay in English. It’s not a big issue for me since I speak both, but for someone who only speaks French, it could be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite has completely transformed the way I manage social media for both personal and professional use. It’s an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes scheduling posts across multiple social media channels a breeze. The dashboard is clean and intuitive, allowing you to monitor all your accounts in one place without feeling overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Hootsuite is generally a fantastic tool, one area where it could improve is its pricing structure. The plans can feel a bit expensive, especially for smaller businesses or individuals just starting out with social media management. Some of the advanced features, like custom reporting and more detailed analytics, are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be a bit frustrating if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option. Additionally, the interface can sometimes feel a little overwhelming with all the features, especially for new users who might just want a simple way to schedule posts and track basic engagement. Hootsuite is an all round good platform for social media management, scheduling, and reporting. It has a lot of great features out of the box, alongside integrations with lots of handy 3rd party tools. Its pricing structure is unrivalled, and it really doesn't feel like good value for money. It is very easy to use, and was easy to get set up within the organisation. It is a tool I use on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that its competitors may have, especially those on the pricier side of the scale. Some of these features may be a deal breaker for you, so make sure you understand what you need from it before committing, and it may well be that those extra features would be worth the extra cost of going with another supplier. Hootsuite enables me to work smarter, not harder. As the only employee of a statewide nonprofit organization, my time is spread amongst many responsibilities. Hootsuite helps me make good use of my time by creating one social media post that will post to all of our accounts. No more copy and pasting to each account! The ability to create posts and schedule them is also a time saver. So thankful that I learned about Hootsuite and took a chance on making better use of my time and improving my productivity. Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The recommended topics do not usually apply to our mission and cause. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Hootsuite for many years in higher ed. When I was hired for my current role and asked what I needed, Hootsuite was the first thing I mentioned. Marketing folks usually have to wear many hats and are multitasking all day long, and this tool has always been super helpful in saving me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I'm on the "create" page I'm not able to easily see all my drafts in one location. I have to search through each calendar day to find which day I created that draft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Hootsuite allows me to schedule and manage posts across various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.) from one dashboard, saving time and effort. The other best feature is The built-in analytics that allow you to track and report all of your Social Media stats - this provides great clairty on how your posts are doing. Sometimes Hootsuite can get a little confusing to navigate. There are so many features available that many of them get overlooked. I will also say there isnt much guidance on the platform i had to learn mainly by trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is a solid social media management tool with a user-friendly dashboard, excellent scheduling features, and robust analytics that help streamline content planning which I do at least once a month for the entire month. The ability to manage multiple accounts in one place is a huge time-saver. I also like the AI feature to help write content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The nonprofit rate makes it much more affordable, which is a big plus. However, the interface can feel cluttered at times, and customer support could be more responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
