What I like about Hootsuite is that it's the best social media scheduling platform for geographically diverse teams. Secondly, as a non-profit organization, we receive discounts, allowing us to continue using and benefiting from the platform. Lastly, they listen to our feedback, which makes the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don't like about Hootsuite is that many features are only available in higher-tier packages, which we can't explore. For example, the social media listening integration with Talkwalker is something we find very interesting, but unfortunately, it's locked behind a paywall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite makes it easy to manage multiple social media accounts in one place, schedule posts in advance, and track engagement metrics. The user interface is intuitive, and the dashboard provides a clear overview of scheduled content, analytics, and audience engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing can be a bit steep for small businesses or individual users, and some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans. The reporting tools, while useful, could be more customizable. Additionally, occasional platform glitches and limitations on Instagram posting (such as requiring manual approval for certain types of posts) can be frustrating. It's ease of use & clean UI. Very user friendly. Navigation is also seamless & not complicated. The report generation is also fairly simple. I have been using it for close to an year and it has definitely saved myself & my team a lot of time managing/scheduling content across multiple social media pages. I believe the limitation of number of competitor pages that you can track is a bit restrictive. Also the industry benchmark could do with a country or region wise filter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the in-depth reporting. Understanding the different engagement metrics for the month to know the content that gets more or less from our followers. It's so easy to schedule content. It's grown so much since I first started using it, you're able to add much more detail than ever before. I'm on Hootsuite all day at work. I love how far in advance I can schedule things. I feel like my Threads account gets disconnected regularly and I'm not always in a place to fix it when I get the notification that my posts didn't go through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was really impressed with the ease of use with the interface. But I think I've still got lots to learn to get the most out of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I'm manually duplicating posts in the social media scheduling calendar I wish the interface would flag up that there's a faster way to do something. I bet there's a way to duplicate/repeat an evergreen scheduled post en masse without having to go through this manual duplicate post business.
I want to be able to schedule repeat posts at varying times without having to manually create the duplicating scheduled posts. The scheduling feature should offer "daily/weekly" functionality just like Google event creation has this feature.
Perhaps not seeing how/feeling this isn't possible is down to my own inexperience with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use, everything is intuitively placed and has some packed advanced features too.
Hootsuite stands out for its intuitive design, making it accessible and user-friendly, even for those new to social media management.
Everything is logically placed, ensuring users can easily navigate and find what they need without unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Hootsuite offers robust functionality, its user interface (UI) feels somewhat outdated compared to more modern competitors.
This dated design can sometimes diminish the overall experience, especially for users accustomed to sleek and highly interactive platforms.
Additionally, it doesn’t replicate the full native experience of each platform. For instance, TikTok’s specific features—like direct in-app posting for images and certain interactive functionalities—are missing, which can limit content optimisation for that platform. The basic pieces of the Hootsuite program give you everything you need to create, post, monitor and report on your social. Plus once you start adding in apps it becomes an even more robust hub for all things social. It takes not time to get started with the platform and learn the ins and outs. And, if you get stuck their support team is great to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost. But it is one of the more affordable programs out there and isn't nearly as expensive as some of its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a hootsuite user for a long time, i would say this tool is a all in one package when it comes to social media management, handling content and retrospecting on the conversion performance.
Hootsuite has been helping me designing and creating content for my Not -for- Profit (NPO) organization (TRI). Features such as reporting, analytics, and engagement evaluation summary is really beneficial and very helpful for organic growth. Moreover calender management and autosaving drafts are real time savers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its a good SM Tool but its quite expensive on the pocket for small, medium organizations. Sometimes the interface can be complex for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part about Hootsuite is the organization. Every content is so well-organized making it much more simpler to work through as a social media management tool. Provides a report of how well posts did in past 7 days. In this time of the world, scheduled posts have made the best implementation impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't personally dislike anything about Hootsuite, but i could say, that when I newly discovered the platform, I found the layout to be cluttered. Cluttered layouts can cause distractions and confusions. However, as a matter of time, once you eventually gain understanding of how everything works. it becomes easier. I appreciate the ability to manage not only posting to multiple platforms, but also the ability to manage advertising and post boosting directly within the application.
The interface is intuitive, and within minutes of being brought into our company's license of Hootsuite I was able to plan out a month of posts easily. I use Hootsuite daily and have not found an alternative that is as quick and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The information on viewership could be a little more robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
