It's a one-stop-shop for social media. Content and copy creation and generation, product integrations, social listening, backend management, community engagement, etc. Previously, I was having to do everything natively. Having everything in one location immediately simplifies and centralizes my workflow.
Analytics are super helpful. As each platform measures differently, having them in one template in one location helps tremendously. Replying to messages and seeing tags? These are things I would typically commonly miss. With the inbox, it filters through everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think the social listening tool, at least on the basic account, is all that great.
I think the trainings are relatively redundant. In my opinion, the first training with our team should have started off with how to post and other basics, not tags and approval workflows. I wish the trainings were 1:1 with my customer succcess team so I can actively ask clarifying questions instead of having to put them in a box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite has been a real game-changer when it comes to managing our company's social media. We are still getting familiar with all of the features it has to offer, but we love being able to schedule our posts in advance and the ability to post to each platform at once. The new AI features that have been integrated are great and I'm sure will continue to advance in quality. Getting to share our posts as drafts to other team members is also a huge plus and allows our CEO to approve posts easily without taking too much time out of his day. Reviewing our progress and engagement across all the platforms allows us to make immediate changes to our strategy and provides a visual for what's working and what's not. I'm not sure if I just haven't figured it out yet, but it seems limiting when it comes to making posts with multiple slides. This could completely just be my unfamiliarity with all the tools, but if it is possible, its not obvious. The account / profile settings also has less-than-ideal UI. Sort of hard to navigate...the interface with connecting advertising accounts is a little weird and maybe should be organized with the initial social media account connection set up. I've found that most of these social media management platforms have pretty similar features, but the thing that sets different companies apart is the insight and knowledge support reps provide to the client. My Hootsuite rep is very well-versed in the product, he's able to answer most of my questions on the spot, not having to take everything back to another member of his team and follow up with me. It's incredibly helpful to have that support and have it so immediately. I use Hootsuite every day and have no issues that my rep is not able to assist with. The interface is fairly straightforward and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few features that I have become accustomed to with previous management tools that are not yet available on Hootsuite, such as a seamless link in bio integration, Reel upload features and the ability to grab historical data from our previous platform (not that that's Hootsuite's fault). Overall, it's a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the platform's multiple features that reduce the time and effort required for scheduling, so that you can spend more time creating content rather than the tedious tasks that come along with social media management. I like that have access to the majority of Social Platforms through one centralized system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite feels very B2B sales targeted. The AI and features that come with the platform are targeted for messaging that doesn't allows fit my brand voice. As a DMO, we are selling a destination, rather than a platform. So many of the features aren't necessarily relevant for our team. In the future, I would love to see Hootsuite's AI be able to learn and adjust with the brand voice to better meet individuals needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is an excellent tool for managing multiple social media accounts in one place. The scheduling feature is a lifesaver, allowing me to plan and automate posts across platforms, which saves a ton of time. The dashboard is relatively intuitive, and the ability to monitor engagement and analytics in real time is super helpful for tracking performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That said, the pricing can be steep, especially for smaller teams or individuals, and some of the advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans. Occasionally, the interface can feel slightly clunky, and specific integrations could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to house a lot of tools under one roof. Social media scheduling, inbox to respond to direct messages and comments, comprehensive analytics, social listening, and a place to monitor and create social media ads. I use the product every single day and it has transformed the workflow of our social media management.
The ease to integrate various products was easy for a smaller team. We were able to connect our various doucment hubs, canva and etc. It was also easy to implement for a small team. The training was very comprehensive in their self-paced courses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing structure can be a little intense. It does cost a lot to add new users to our account, which can sometimes be a hinderance. Especially if we just want them to be able to have access to one specific aspect of the system, aka social listening, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cross-posting, editing and customization of content for a multi-brand company like ours became hassle-free and organized with Hootsuite. The ease of integrating different brand portfolios into a single platform simplified campaign implementation. With the AI integrations in content creation and 'Listening' powered by Talkwalker, the potential of the platform doubled, making it my go to for everyday market research, SEO edits and content polishing. Special shoutout to the enterprise account support teams (customer support and tech) for always resolving and troubleshooting any problems I run into within a couple of hours. I have been using Hootsuite every workday for the past 2 years and I cannot suggest a better platform that does it all! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though Listening has been amazing for general topics, it would be amazing to have it perform better, pulling in specific data for niche markets like equestrian products or auto detailing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Hootsuite because you can schedule for ALL social media platforms in one space. I REALLY like the messaging feature where you can manage you inbox for ALL platforms in one space, by far the most helpful feature that use use every single day. You can edit cover photos which is a plus. You can create different captions for different platform's (this saves me so much time). I like how you can also choose to send yourself a notification to post for platforms like Instagram, so you can take advantage of their algorithm while still having your posts scheduled. Love how you can drag and drop files from your computer directly into the post. Lastly, I like how you can choose the aspect ratio of the photos you post for different platforms. Was super easy to integrate platforms into hoostuite and set everything up, took me maybe 30 minutes it was awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could edit videos in hootsuite like adding music and text. I like how in META business suite, you can choose choose the music and write text on your reels, but on hootsuite I either have to make a draft on Instagram, then download, then reupload and it takes time and the video quality is not as good. I was falling behind on social content, but this tool made it ridiculously easy to get back on track. In just a few steps, I scheduled 2 months' worth of posts and reactivated all my channels. The support team was super helpful, and their instructions were clear and direct, so I didn’t waste time figuring things out.
One of my favorite features is having all my inboxes in one place. It saves me time every day and helps me stay on top of client messages without constantly switching between platforms.
Setup was smooth, and using it daily feels effortless. It integrates seamlessly with all my socials—felt like just a few clicks, and I was good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to schedule Pinterest and YouTube with the rest of the socials all togather. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite’s scheduling feature is a game-changer. It allows me to manage multiple social media accounts from one platform seamlessly, saving a lot of time. The analytics are also incredibly useful in tracking performance and optimizing content. It’s easy to use, and I can plan ahead for posts, which keeps my content consistent. The only downside is that the interface can feel a bit cluttered at times, especially when managing many accounts. It would be great if it had a more streamlined design to make navigation even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
