Hootsuite puts most of our social media scheduling and analytics solutions in one place for a price that's better than most, particularly when managing across several accounts.
It's incredibly easy to repost content without having to go through a lot of hassles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More native integrations with social media platforms, like BlueSky (which has completely replaced both Twitter and Threads for us), are needed to make things easier for us.
Hootsuite's handling of apps leaves a bit to be desired. I shouldn't have to reconnect Pixabay and Canva every time I want to use them.
Hootsuite also needs the ability to specifically indicate whether or not a video scheduled for Facebook / Instagram should be scheduled as a Reel or a Story. We also don't have the ability to tag a collaborator in Facebook, but we DO in Instagram scheduling.
Finally, Hootsuite is in need of a geolocation tagging feature, particularly for Facebook and Instagram, which would allow us to tag the locations of our posts, rather than having to go back in to the platforms, themselves, and tag the locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is a real life-saver for smaller orgs. As a nonprofit, Hootsuite helps us support our sponsors, mission, and vision by being able to schedule necessary posts for the entire year. It's a great source to help take workload off our plates. Additionally, Hootsuite often shows posts/comments that are harder to find in Meta Business Suite and are sometimes hidden in Twitter, Insta, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite unfortunately has to deal with issues on other platforms that affect their own performance, sometimes causing scheduled messages to miss their post (you get notified.) Every so often cookies block the image from being included in the post. My biggest wish is that Hootsuite would develop a library of partners handles, as Insta and Twitter don't link until it's posted (ex: the ability to load all business handles so we don't have to research every time.) Drop dead easy to use! Makes social scheduling a breeze. I particularly like that I can review a years worth of posts. It helps to get the creative ideas flowing, you often forget what you did a year ago, and being able to go back and review, makes tweaking and reusing old ideas a breeeze. Sometimes thinking up new ideas daily can be daunting, so recyling and updating past ideas is helpful. Interfaces well with all the platforms I use for social. Plans are very affordable. I have saved so much time, therefore money, being able to schedule all my social posts from Hootsuite. I can't end the review without mentioning how great it is to have AI assistance in writing posts, they are perfect every time. Finally, when it comes to generating ideas, it is helpful to have the calendar reminders of all the Special Days of the Years. With AI caption writing assistance, it makes it easy to come up the posts for special days. I post daily so using Hootsuite has made it easy to plan many days in advance, so i can even take a vacation and not worry. I manage a few social accounts and have found it easy to use across all of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not particular to Hootsuite, I don't believe, but there are occassional instances when posts fail. Sometimes it evident that it is an issue with the social channel, but sometimes, it can be a Hootsuite issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite has allowed me to seamlessly schedule posts across multiple accounts, on different social media websites, with ease. It has saved me HOURS in managing inboxes, as I can do it all from one single place. Their customer service is also incredibly responsive and helpful, which makes any hiccups I encounter (both on their side, and my side) easy to figure out. My daily work has become so much more streamlined because of Hootsuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite still has some issues when it comes to being able to click through to instagram accounts to find someones name, not their username. There are a few other bugs here and there, but nothing too major. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can manage all my social media accounts from one place. Scheduling posts in advance is a huge time-saver, and I can easily track how everything’s doing. It just makes everything way more organised and less of a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The layout can feel a little crowded sometimes, especially when trying to find something quickly. Also, the professional plan doesn’t really offer too many accounts so if you have multiple brands its difficult to manage all acounts without upgrading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is a great tool for managing multiple social media accounts in one place. It’s easy to integrate and implement, so getting started is simple. My favorite thing about it is having all my accounts and platforms connected, so I can answer daily messages from one dashboard instead of jumping between apps. It saves so much time and keeps everything organized! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I don’t love about Hootsuite is the reporting section. When you have multiple brands and platforms connected, it can be a bit confusing, and reading the data isn’t always as clear as it could be. It would be great if the reports were more intuitive and easier to navigate! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am in charge of the social media marketing for two sister companies, each with multiple social media streams. Hootsuite allows me to see all those streams at one time, post to one or multiplend even provide imagery if I need something quick. I especially love the ability to create Instagram posts on the big computer screen rather than o feeds at once an my phone. As a busy professional, I appreciate how Hootsuite keeps everything organized and on track—it’s like having an extra set of hands! Whether you’re managing a personal brand or a full-scale business, Hootsuite is worth every penny. Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've had difficulties with scheduling posts ahead of time. Sometimes they simply disappear and I have to recreate them. Streams often disconnect, reasons unknown, and have to be reconnected. Not a big deal but just slows down the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is fantastic for managing social media. The interface is easy to use, and implementing and scheduling posts across different platforms is super convenient and is a go to every day as a central point of all our social media. Managing multiple accounts and interacting with followers in one place is a huge time-saver.
The analytics tools offer valuable insights, helping me improve engagement.
All in all, integrating hootsuite into our daily social media needs has been quick and slick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel the reporting and anylitics can be fiddly to zero in on what exactly I am looking ofr, but access to their training pages and customer support has helped balance this out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I started using Hootsuite a few years ago and never looked back. The platform is very easy to use and user-friendly. I get to manage all my social media channels from one simple dashboard not to mention the integration with other software and the data that i get from the performances of my channels. Not much really. I think they got the formula right as they platform offers almost everything that one would want when it comes to a content management system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
