What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I enjoy how easy the calendar feature is to use and the visual it provides. I also like the draft feature and being able to go back and edit posts I was working on so I have time to edit and preview before posting. I use Hootsuite almost everyday and it keeps multiple social media accounts visually orgainzed and managable, making it convient to implement in my daily social media tasks. The fact that you can tag and or cater your content to the specific platform it helpful as well and makes for easy integration into the specifics of each platform. I have not needed customer support thus far but like that there is a chat option for easy fixes. Overall, I think it does a great job at a fair price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The only thing I would wish to improve would be some aspects of the analytics. I like the customzable report, the visuals and how easy it is to export, however I wish there was some sort of live dashboard to show how your accounts are performing currently with pre-determined metrics. It would also be nice to have more speicifc options in the industry benchmarking categories. My firm is a civil engineering firm (in the AEC industry) and the closest option was "professional services/consulting", which I feel is too broad to accurately benchmark. What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hootsuite provides an all-inclusive solution for social media needs in one user-friendly place. I use it for every step of the social media process, from looking Hootsuite blogs to inform my strategy, to the AI tools to help idealize posts, to scheduling posts and reviewing performance with analytics. It allows me to stay organized and efficient when managing mutliple acccounts. I also do social media auditing as a service for my firm and regularly reccomend Hootsuite because 1.) it's affordable 2.) it's user-friendly 3.) it provides all the tools you need to be successful in social media. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is incredibly helpful for me as a marketing director. It allows me to streamline the management of the multiple brands I handle, and with the level of subscription I have, I can add as many social media platforms as I need. It makes it incredibly simple to schedule posts across each platform, and manage the incoming messages received from each page. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I will say, the only thing that has been a little tricky is that Hootsuite is sometimes slow to update the name of a page once it has been changed. For example, a brand that I manage went by one name when my company acquired it; however, we have since changed that name, and my dashboard still shows the old name, even though we changed it almost 2 years ago. It doesn't seem to affect my ability to post to that page, but it does throw me off sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I use Hootsuite nearly everyday and I really enjoy it! They have some a long way in the features that are provided. I really enjoy the user friendly scheduling tool and planner. I also like the various options for analytics. Something new that I really have come to enjoy is the Social Media score. The kind of tells how your page is doing with a score. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I wish when you have to edit a post, you could edit all of the posts at once. When you schedule a post for three platforms and schedule them, but then find an error, you can't just edit one of the posts or the original post you created. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I find the new social listening aspect helpful as well as having all of our social media DMs in one place. I also like the analytics and suggested times to post. The customer support has been good, however I do have some problems that they haven't been able to address. I use hootsuite daily as a social media and content creation specialist at my workplace. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I do not find posting to multiple social media platforms helpful, which is the primary purpose. The main issue is Instagram, it constantly tells me my photos are sized incorrectly, despite using Instagram-specific photo sizes. Each time I try to resize my image to "4x5" it resets it to square and says my image will be cut off. I have also had issues with the order of images as part of a post, which changes the story that goes along with the post, especially if the post is a story with text and captions that the user is meant to scroll through. I wish the glitchy things would get resolved as this platform has been around for so long that things like this shouldn't be broken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a great platform for digital marketing managers like myself. The ability to create streams to monitor all your content in one place is a massive advantage and a huge time saver—especially when you're checking content daily, sometimes multiple times a day. The platform is incredibly easy to use, and the seamless scheduling feature helps alleviate some of the pressure from day-to-day work duties.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a great scheduling tool. It saves time to be able to schedule posts all in one spot. It's easy to vary messaging depending on the platform, and I can upload custom graphics for every account if I want to. I love that I can see the posts scheduled for the month. My boss can go in and easily review post copy and edit if needed. The analytics tools are really nice. On the sm platforms themselves, they limit the timeframe in which analytics are available. I can compare yearly analytics to track growth. I love that I can view the most popular posts. Over time, I can see what is performing best, and that informs the choices I make for what our company continues to post or, conversely, not post if it's not performing well. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I want to be able to schedule IG stories on the day I want them shared. I don't know if that is possible or not; perhaps that's a limitation that Hootsuite can't control. We would also like to be able to track the lost follower count on our IG handle. Would like to be able to set up tagging within the post - specifically LinkedIn. It's hard to remember to go into the post to edit it and add the tags. This seems to defeat the purpose of scheduling a post to begin with if I have to go in and edit it anyway. I don't like that the post is labeled as "posted by Hootsuite". Perhaps this is also required by the sm platforms, not really sure. Would like to have Bluesky connected to Hootsuite. The courses and certification process for Hootsuite were super easy to follow, full of great information, and made good use of time. I really enjoyed the video format of the course and the ability to change the speed, so I could learn as fast or as slow as I wanted.

As a nonprofit, we use Hootsuite almost daily, and it’s been a game-changer. Having all our analytics in one place for multiple platforms makes tracking what’s working (and what’s not) so much easier. The frequency of use wouldn’t be possible without how seamlessly it integrates with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The newer features, like competitor comparisons, are a great bonus and help us stay on top of trends. The interface can feel a bit clunky, especially after the recent updates. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I create content for our entire year during the quiet time after Christmas and then schedule it all to go out throughout the year. This is for all the special event days. Then I use it all the time throughout the year whenever I create a post for our events so it goes to all channels at once. I love that I can create a post for our 4 SM channels and then slightly customise the post for each channel, or update it at a later stage.

It was really easy to setup and add new SM channels as we joined them. To be honest, it's ticked over so well, I haven't had any reason to contact customer support at all so far and I've been using it for a few years now! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The only feature I'd like to see (unless I just don't know how to do it!), is to be able to edit a post that's been scheduled across multiple platforms instead of having to edit each individual platform's post if I need to change it later on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
