I like that it is simple and easy to use. Hootsuite has more integrations than any of their competitors so even if they don't have a feature you can usually still make what you need. Their individual management platform is probably the best value on the market. Being able to post to multiple platforms and schedule save us a lot of time, which makes Hootsuite very effective and the cost is very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the problem with Hootsuite is that when I post dynamic content (GIFs, videos, etc) sometimes don't autoplay when scheduled through Hootsuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite makes managing social media an absolute breeze! It integrates perfectly with Linkedin. The user-friendly interface and intuitive dashboard allow me to easily implement a scheduled post, and share content effortlessly across multiple platforms. I love how easy it is to navigate, saving me time and keeping my social media strategy organized. Whether you're a small business owner or a social media pro, Hootsuite is a game-changer. Highly recommend, I use it very frequently! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What's not to like? I only wish I'd discovered it sooner! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the ability to manage multiple social accounts from a single platform, and the integration of our approval workflow (two sets of eyes) ensures every post is reviewed before publishing. The reporting tools are excellent—especially when combined with tagging, which allows for deeper analysis by country. Hootsuite has become our go-to tool for day-to-day social media management across a complex mix of brands and geographies. It's easy to use, quick to implement, and the responsive customer support is a real bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing major but at times, some accounts disconnect and it creates some work to re-add Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love Hootsuite for reporting, tracking ad performance, creating relationships with customers for our clients, and how easy it is to use! We use this tool every day. The support we get for Enterprise is top quality and efficient. We had a very smooth integration and implementation process with the help of our account support person. The only thing we struggle with is the API functions and capability between networks. Due to this we still have to go back and forth into the native applications to do certain tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite is a good starter program for social media management. The calendar feature is useful to be able to plan out content for a couple of days. The approval tool is nice and helps for content needing approval. The stream is an interesting way to see content laid out. Analytics is relatively useful except for its slight quirks and limitations. Customer support is quick and they have a lot of videos for training. I've attended some of their webinars as well, which have been relatively useful. We use this relatively often and I use the tags features on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The create feature is nice, except the design tools in the software are limited. The Canva extension is useful, but the fact that you can't log in is frustrating because it won't save your design. Content created using the extension is editable if you send it for approval. Analytics are limited and sometimes don't have all the old data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Hootsuite now after using Sprout Social for several years. We've found that Hootsuite allows our team to manage workload easier by having the ability to cross-post to nearly all platforms at one time for each of our clients. Also, managing private messages and comments takes less time from our team members each day, including Hootsuite's ability to filter and automate responses to certain types of messages. What I have been most impressed with is Hootsuite's customer account team and implementation processes. We have had dedicated people that are always there when we need them and are very helpful when we come across issues. We use Hootsuite every single day, at all hours of the day to manage content publishing. It is very easy to train employees to use. With our plan, we can integrate as many social media accounts as we need into Hootsuite. We also love the reporting and analytics tools, as it can separate organic posts vs paid/sponsored posts. I love being able to customize my reports and format it to fit each client's needs to show the most powerful data and results that make an impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are only a few things:
1. Facebook sharing
2. Filtering out/Removing spam and malicious links in comments/messages (also reporting spam/banning user)
3. Change cover photos/profile pictures
4. A big one: white-labeling reports. We can have our logo, yet they still all show Hootsuite on them.
5. We can't see or respond to Facebook reviews!
I understand each platform's API is the reason for most limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how Hootsuite streamlines social media scheduling and reporting. The platform makes it easy to manage multiple accounts, schedule posts in advance, and pull analytics for performance tracking. The interface is user-friendly, and the integration with other tools like Zapier simplifies automation. Plus, the ability to collaborate with team members is a huge plus! While Hootsuite is a powerful tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. The analytics, while useful, sometimes lack the depth needed for more detailed reporting. Some integrations could be more seamless, and the pricing can be a bit high compared to alternatives. Additionally, the platform occasionally experiences lags when managing multiple accounts, which can slow down workflow efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a one-stop-shop for social media. Content and copy creation and generation, product integrations, social listening, backend management, community engagement, etc. Previously, I was having to do everything natively. Having everything in one location immediately simplifies and centralizes my workflow.
Analytics are super helpful. As each platform measures differently, having them in one template in one location helps tremendously. Replying to messages and seeing tags? These are things I would typically commonly miss. With the inbox, it filters through everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think the social listening tool, at least on the basic account, is all that great.
I think the trainings are relatively redundant. In my opinion, the first training with our team should have started off with how to post and other basics, not tags and approval workflows. I wish the trainings were 1:1 with my customer succcess team so I can actively ask clarifying questions instead of having to put them in a box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite has been a real game-changer when it comes to managing our company's social media. We are still getting familiar with all of the features it has to offer, but we love being able to schedule our posts in advance and the ability to post to each platform at once. The new AI features that have been integrated are great and I'm sure will continue to advance in quality. Getting to share our posts as drafts to other team members is also a huge plus and allows our CEO to approve posts easily without taking too much time out of his day. Reviewing our progress and engagement across all the platforms allows us to make immediate changes to our strategy and provides a visual for what's working and what's not. I'm not sure if I just haven't figured it out yet, but it seems limiting when it comes to making posts with multiple slides. This could completely just be my unfamiliarity with all the tools, but if it is possible, its not obvious. The account / profile settings also has less-than-ideal UI. Sort of hard to navigate...the interface with connecting advertising accounts is a little weird and maybe should be organized with the initial social media account connection set up. I've found that most of these social media management platforms have pretty similar features, but the thing that sets different companies apart is the insight and knowledge support reps provide to the client. My Hootsuite rep is very well-versed in the product, he's able to answer most of my questions on the spot, not having to take everything back to another member of his team and follow up with me. It's incredibly helpful to have that support and have it so immediately. I use Hootsuite every day and have no issues that my rep is not able to assist with. The interface is fairly straightforward and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few features that I have become accustomed to with previous management tools that are not yet available on Hootsuite, such as a seamless link in bio integration, Reel upload features and the ability to grab historical data from our previous platform (not that that's Hootsuite's fault). Overall, it's a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the platform's multiple features that reduce the time and effort required for scheduling, so that you can spend more time creating content rather than the tedious tasks that come along with social media management. I like that have access to the majority of Social Platforms through one centralized system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hootsuite feels very B2B sales targeted. The AI and features that come with the platform are targeted for messaging that doesn't allows fit my brand voice. As a DMO, we are selling a destination, rather than a platform. So many of the features aren't necessarily relevant for our team. In the future, I would love to see Hootsuite's AI be able to learn and adjust with the brand voice to better meet individuals needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
