At Crossroads of America Council, managing social media across multiple platforms is essential for keeping our Scouting families, volunteers, and supporters informed and engaged. Hootsuite has been an invaluable tool in streamlining our social media efforts.

One of the biggest challenges we face is maintaining a consistent and engaging presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Hootsuite’s scheduling and automation features allow us to plan content in advance, ensuring our community stays updated on events, registration deadlines, and exciting Scouting stories—even during our busiest seasons.

Another key benefit is the monitoring and engagement tools. We can easily track mentions, respond to messages, and interact with our audience—all in one place. This helps us build stronger relationships with our followers and ensure quick responses to inquiries.

The analytics and reporting tools also provide valuable insights into what content resonates most with our audience, helping us refine our strategy and maximize engagement.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

The ability to house a lot of tools under one roof. Social media scheduling, inbox to respond to direct messages and comments, comprehensive analytics, social listening, and a place to monitor and create social media ads. I use the product every single day and it has transformed the workflow of our social media management.

The ease to integrate various products was easy for a smaller team. We were able to connect our various doucment hubs, canva and etc. It was also easy to implement for a small team. The training was very comprehensive in their self-paced courses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The pricing structure can be a little intense. It does cost a lot to add new users to our account, which can sometimes be a hinderance. What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to put all my tools in one place and not have to jump between various apps to schedule and evaluate content. As the sole person responsible for social media at my organization, it helps make the day-to-day work more streamlined, especially as social media isn't my only task. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

The cross-posting, editing and customization of content for a multi-brand company like ours became hassle-free and organized with Hootsuite. The ease of integrating different brand portfolios into a single platform simplified campaign implementation. With the AI integrations in content creation and 'Listening' powered by Talkwalker, the potential of the platform doubled, making it my go to for everyday market research, SEO edits and content polishing. Special shoutout to the enterprise account support teams (customer support and tech) for always resolving and troubleshooting any problems I run into within a couple of hours. We are a company with 5+ brands and 15+ digital channels. Hootsuite solved the biggest organizational hurdle of having all these channels on a single platform. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I like Hootsuite because you can schedule for ALL social media platforms in one space. I REALLY like the messaging feature where you can manage you inbox for ALL platforms in one space, by far the most helpful feature that use use every single day. You can edit cover photos which is a plus. You can create different captions for different platform's (this saves me so much time). I like how you can also choose to send yourself a notification to post for platforms like Instagram, so you can take advantage of their algorithm while still having your posts scheduled. Love how you can drag and drop files from your computer directly into the post. Lastly, I like how you can choose the aspect ratio of the photos you post for different platforms. Was super easy to integrate platforms into hoostuite and set everything up, took me maybe 30 minutes it was awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I wish I could edit videos in hootsuite like adding music and text. I like how in META business suite, you can choose choose the music and write text on your reels, but on hootsuite I either have to make a draft on Instagram, then download, then reupload and it takes time and the video quality is not as good. What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hoostuite allows me to schedule all posts in one place. It saves me time because otherwise I would have to schedule the same post 3 times on linkedin, instagram, and facebook and that causes inconsistencies and takes so much time.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I was falling behind on social content, but this tool made it ridiculously easy to get back on track. In just a few steps, I scheduled 2 months' worth of posts and reactivated all my channels. The support team was super helpful, and their instructions were clear and direct, so I didn’t waste time figuring things out.

One of my favorite features is having all my inboxes in one place. It saves me time every day and helps me stay on top of client messages without constantly switching between platforms.

Not having to login to 30+ social accounts to solve inquiries for my clients, It gave me the ease to actually enjoy my job and not feel trapped in manual work. I tried multiple tools and this one just made the different since they are focused in product and human-to-human support.

Personally, I feel the UI sometimes appear overbearing and overwhelming. This is a major downside for me as a user. If the UI could become more user-friendly, especially for new users, it could easily increase the functionality. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

The piece of Hootsuite that I like best is the AI post generator. It helps take so much of the burden off when needing ideas for text for a post. The biggest problem that Hootsuite has solved would be helping come up with posts with their AI feature. It's hard to find something not to like about Hootsuite, perhaps if I had to make one complaint it would be about using the mobile app. I don't have a ton of experience using the app, but I think some of the features aren't quite as seamless as the desktop experience. I manage dozens of accounts on various platforms. It would be impossible to manage them all on their native platforms. There's just not enough time in the day. I prefer using Meta Business Suite for scheduling Facebook and Instagram posts, I am more used to it and it feels a bit more user friendly. I will always view platform analytics directly from the platform instead of Hootsuite due to personal preference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It solves the way I can schedule content to Threads as it is not a built in option to the platform yet. I used to feel that way about Linkedin and X before they had their own scheduler. But I will admit that having it all in one single dashboard/calendar is super convenient! I still prefer Meta Business Suite for Insta & Facebook but utilizing Hootsuite for the rest is perfect.
