I really enjoy that there are so many options and tools available for HR to optimize processes, engage colleagues, and make our work easier. I can't imagine managing my tasks without the workflow that Hibob provides!

Even though I enjoy most aspects, I find some things not very user-friendly, and certain tasks feel repetitive, requiring the same information to be filled in multiple places. (Though it might just be a lack of my knowledge, and I may need to explore further.) One example is when a manager changes—we have to manually update each employee’s reporting line, which can be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Company we were on the lookout for a new HR system and Bob had been highly recommended to us from another Company. We started the initial call with Jed who was great and answered all our questions. He was patient and explained everything in detail.
Our implementation was where the programme came to life and Jennifer was amazing. It was such an easy implementation and I would go to say the best one we have ever received. Jennifer let us do the work so we would learn, always there to help us, suggested different ways and helped us get the best out of the system. They use a great tool to keep you on track and set "homework" each week to ensure you are on track.
We use HiBob every day and its almost has become one of the team with the amount of automation it can do for us! It is so easy to use - the help guides, webinars everything is so helpful. Usually, we would have to write "how to" guides but Bob has them all written for us to send them to the managers ready - it makes our job so much easier!
We have slowly been using all the features and it's a great support to the HR team - surveys, goals, tasks, automated reminders, 121's - so much more!
HiBob doesn't have a payroll system which our other provider did so we did have to reach out to another provider. The ease of integrating these two systems was simple and it continuously updates. Teams integration is a great feature too as well as syncing events to your calendar.
Any time we have reached out to Customer Support (which hasn't been much because the implementation was great) they have been quick and really helpful.
In our time, we have seen so many updates from the system and new features which is great to see the team listen to what improvements and then they happen a few months later!

As I have to put something here, I would say it would be nice to have the payroll integrated and a dedicated training environment for us to create courses for our staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Still lacking some of the features or some simple tweaks that would ease the using of the tool (like for example the search in docs templates section).

Upsides of Using Bob:
Implementing Bob was refreshingly simple; I was able to complete the entire setup without support thanks to the clear, well-laid-out instructions. Despite being a robust and feature-rich tool, it’s user-friendly, making it feel like a seamless part of the work routine rather than a chore. While Bob is generally an impressive tool, there are a few drawbacks to consider. The graphs from reports only download as image files, which can be limiting if you need to incorporate them into company reports that require a different style or further customization. This often means having to recreate the visuals outside of Bob, adding extra steps. Additionally, as a small business, there are some features that look valuable but aren’t quite within reach yet in terms of budget. The integration with Google Calendar is missing, and we also lack an unsolicited feedback option, as well as more flexibility in the performance review cycles although it already improved a lot since 2022 ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Hibob’s all-in-one approach for simplifying HR processes. Having everything—from payroll to performance management—in one centralized platform makes our work more streamlined and efficient. I find the availability feature unnecessary for our workflow—we simply don’t need to track vacation or sick leave in this platform. The interface also feels cluttered, relying heavily on icons that aren’t always intuitive, making it harder to find what I need quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We implemented HiBob about two years ago with the three main objectives; 1) empower and enable managers with data, features and workflows throughout the employee journey, 2) engage and connect our distributed workforce with updates, shoutouts and recognition and 3) create capacity in the People team through workflows, automations, self-service and ready-to-go reporting. HiBob has over-delivered in all three areas and more resulting in the only piece of HR tech I've implemented where non-HR users seek me out to tell me how awesome it is. Not only that but the HiBob team are great people to partner with pre and post go-live and the rate of new feature releases is keeping us on our toes with new and better ways to support our people and the organisation. I can't think of any notable downsides of HiBob for our existing use case. It won't suit everyone so ensure you are very clear on your requirements and engage with stakeholders to get their buy-in and support as part of the change management process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HiBob has really changed our HR department. It has saved us time and made life easier. The ease of being able to customise most things is brilliant. The talent module is great and the coming additions to this module will be fantastic. Reporting is great and the dashboards are so helpful. The survey tool is brilliant and gives great insights through the reporting and dashboards. The look of this is so professional. The staff love the system especially the Kudos and the superpowers! We miss the yellow faces in the reviews it made them so much more engaging please bring them back! We have tried to run expenses through the system but unfortunately it doesnt work very well please develop this further :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Hibob's E-Sign feature. I use this feature daily to generate standard template letters to send to employees. I like that they allow you to change the signer if the original signer (as set in the esign template settings) is not available. This feature is good for when you are sharing job responsibilities with other colleagues or when you are covering for someone who is away.
Also am a big fan of the people's time off calendar because you can customize the calendar using filters and once you are good with the end result, you can integrate the hibob calendar to your own google calendar. I love this feature so much and rely on it to see when my colleagues are out of office.
The compensation and performance cycle is also easy to manage. It could use some improvements here and there but it is good.

I wish the e-signs could be improved for dynamic templates. Currently, since it works only on static templates, the formatting looks off and B+ quality at most. But if they could improve to support word documents and have place holders like <<Job title>> imbedded in the sentence, then the final signed document would look more professional. The font that is selected to appear in the template (Arial) doesn't actually show up as the correct font in the final output – it shows up as a compltely different font.
I like that hibob has been working on expanding their available reports and the functionality. For example, I was setting up a report meant to be used for an integration with our health insurance provider which requested information to be all in one report such as dependents, personal info etc. However, hibob only allows data from tables to be made in a specific report and cannot be combined in a general report. For the scheduling reports feature, if we can have the report output be in txt format (current options is csv or xlsv), that would be great.
In terms of customer support, I find them generally helpful but sometimes I feel like I have to keep my message succint and clear, otherwise they dont read everything. 7/10 in that aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

bob works very well for us, as we have multiple (small & big) locations, which all have different sets of benefits. bob has the flexibility to build (almost) everything in and helps us to keep this overview. Next to that the set-up is very user friendly and it is easy for all employees to find the input they need, also when they are new to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As bob is still fairly new, this means some parts can still be missing (eg. setting up holidays for one country is much easier than for the other) and it can take some time for updates to be processed of course. However, they are still improving at a high rate. I would love to see more functionalities in bob, but I think most HR professionals know, 1 HRIS doesn't really exist and you will need other tools for performance management etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
