It’s incredibly user-friendly, making HR processes smoother and more efficient than ever. There are some limitations that I’d love to see improved. One drawback is that data categories and fields created by users (rather than Hibob) cannot be inserted into eSign templates, which can be restrictive. Another particularly frustrating limitation is the lack of a substitute feature when an employee submits a time-off request. I appreciate the efficiency and simplicity of the system, particularly the employee status,also API structure, which is great for building automation. Additionally, the advanced search feature provides a quick and easy way to generate a list of users.

What I like most about HiBob is its ease of use and the way it simplifies key HR processes. I primarily use the platform for booking time off, accessing internal org charts, viewing my contract documents, and managing my benefits. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate, and having everything in one place saves me a lot of time. However, one area that could be improved is the holidays view and balance tracking. While the system provides comprehensive leave management, understanding holiday balances can be a bit challenging. The way accruals and remaining days are displayed may not always be intuitive, requiring users to dig deeper to get a clear picture of their available leave. I love the fact that it's an all-in-one product. W've been using the People, Payroll, and Performance modules for a while now and have recently added on their new module, hiring. This means that our entire HR function is all captured in Bob now.
Our account manager Sabrina has been a dream to work with. Especially as we made the switch from Workable to HiBob Hiring. She went above and beyond to answer our questions, show me the product, and negotiated a competitive rate to counter our offer to stay with Workable.
I really like that our email and calendar is all integrated so we don't need to leave HiBob when scheduling interviews, communicating with staff and candidates, etc. I'm probably in Bob more throughout a week than any other software besides our Google Drive. Sometimes because you can get really granular in setings, it's hard to find the right setting/function. It's also a little bit clunky in terms of UI, but the actual functionality is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bob is an amazing tool for HR professionals - moving from endless spreadsheets to a HRIS that has become our source of truth has been a lifesaver. The support team are always happy to answer my (somewhat silly) questions! In addition, I have revamped our onboarding process utilising bob's tasks and automations. Not only am I getting great feeback from new hires, but our existing colleagues have commented on their new team mates smooth integration and rate to productivity. BIG WIN! The only difficult I have had so far is bob not having an automated return from leave date which would have been handy for our maternity task list. The only minor drawback I’ve noticed is some limitations around customization. That said, the HiBob team consistently listens to feedback and actively works on enhancements to address these gaps, which makes the platform’s growth and adaptability really promising. Really easy to use and nice to look at- requires a lot of manual intervention to set up and make work for your business, but this works in business favour if time is put into planning prior to set up as you can mould it to fit your company needs. Additional cost for 'add-ons' such as training, payroll etc modules. This is troublesome for us as a small business of under 50 people as I cannot get the funding for it :( I feel if all the modules were under one package it would be perfect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HiBob places all of our HR and People needs in one place, whether we're talking about staff information / records, policy documents, review cycles or goals, tracking holidays/absences and birthdays - it's the one place the team know they can go to get everything. You can set goals for the overall organisation, departments and individuals, but it would be helpful for us if were possible to set up goals for other groups / teams that might involve cross department collaboration. As an HR, I've found Hibob to be a highly effective and user-friendly platform for managing employee data and HR processes. It is intuitive for both HR teams and employees. Employees can easily access their personal information, request time off, and submit timesheets (with the best fitcher of quick fix). HR can seamlessly manage data and run reports.
The support team is always quick to respond and helpful. They’ve been great in addressing any questions or issues that come up, ensuring minimal disruption to our HR operations.

While Hibob is a great solution for smaller teams, it might not scale as well for larger organizations with more complex needs. Larger businesses may find it lacking in certain advanced features.
We've noticed that the days off accrual can sometimes be inaccurate, especially with custom accrual rules. This is something to keep an eye on to ensure the numbers are always correct.
