Smooth overview of employees
HiBob makes it easy to keep track of all employees. The contact cards gather all relevant information in one place, making it quick and simple to find what you need.

Efficient handling of new employees
Adding new people to the system is straightforward, and the task lists ensure that the onboarding process is structured and consistent. Your colleagues automatically receive the right tasks at the right time, creating a secure and professional start for every new hire.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Up to this point working with it for 3 years, I haven’t found anything that works poorly or causes issues, which makes the overall experience very positive.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It handles everything from the moment a new employee joins, including sending out a welcome email. Our new hire can log in and access their personal page even before their first day. It automatically sends out all the tasks we need to complete before onboarding. 
It keeps track of absences, vacation, and the reports we need to generate. 
All documents related to the employee are stored in one place. 
It also supports the offboarding process, ensuring everything runs smoothly when someone leaves the company.

I appreciate HiBob HRIS for its tremendous user experience. It consolidates data effectively, serving as a single source of truth. The platform excels in providing great integrations with external tools, enhancing overall functionality and workflow. This integration capability allows for seamless operation with other software, which is particularly beneficial for managing HR functions related to employees globally.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I find HiBob HRIS lacking in a few areas. Firstly, its Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities are limited, which is a significant drawback for us and is one of the reasons why we haven't signed up for that feature. Additionally, while it doesn't pose any problems with HIPAA compliance, it would be beneficial if HiBob HRIS could offer out-of-the-box solutions for compliance and tracking needs, especially in highly regulated countries like France. Specifically, improvements in time-off tracking and payroll integrations for such regions would greatly enhance its usability for global organizations like ours.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I truly appreciate how easy HiBob HRIS is to use. Even if you've never used it before, after a couple of days, you know exactly what you're doing. The system's intuitiveness ensures that it is accessible, making our work more efficient. An aspect I really value is how the platform is consistently innovative, with new features being added or existing ones being updated to ensure relevance. This adaptability and the constant updates keep the system fresh and in alignment with our ever-evolving needs. The inclusion of features like the job catalog and skills matrix also stands out, providing valuable resources for managing and benchmarking pay, ensuring fairness in our processes. HiBob HRIS integrates seamlessly with tools like Slack, Teams, and OpenBlend, streamlining our workflows. The ease of initial setup, as noted by our team who implemented it, was another significant benefit. Moreover, being my first HRIS experience, I can confidently rate it as a 10 for its overall excellent performance.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I think sometimes, things change that we are used to using. For example, we were using the benefits feature on HiBob, and then quite suddenly, it got sunset, so we couldn't use it anymore. We had just introduced it as a company and weren't aware that it was actually going to be sunset. I would say the communication around these changes needs improvement, ensuring that all people who are part of the system are informed. In our case, only one person was told, and he didn't check with anyone else, leaving us unaware of the change.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use HiBob HRIS for annual leave bookings and org charts. It helps us view retention across departments with dashboards and track performance plans. The system supports our shift to a data-driven approach with tools like the job catalog and skills matrix for fair benchmarking.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I truly appreciate using HiBob HRIS as our HRIS system to effectively maintain people data and streamline key processes. It provides a reliable single source of data truth which serves as a comprehensive platform for our employees to access all people-related information they might need. What stands out is the system's high level of customization. The customizable nature of HiBob HRIS allows us to tailor processes to fit our organizational structure perfectly—an aspect that our previous HRIS system was unable to accommodate. Furthermore, HiBob HRIS offers a better user interface and enhanced functionality compared to Elmo, our past solution, and it allows location-based customization. The initial setup process was particularly easy, and the team provided excellent support throughout, making the entire onboarding experience smooth. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with HiBob HRIS and would highly recommend it with a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

I find the salary review section lacking because it does not automatically generate variation letters based on calculations, which forces me to resort to multiple workarounds. This process is time-consuming and prone to manual errors.

Its modern, "social-media-like" interface that makes navigation intuitive for employees while fostering a strong company culture through its engagement features. Additionally, its highly flexible automation for onboarding and offboarding workflows significantly reduces the administrative burden on IT and HR teams.

While HiBob offers a great user experience, its reporting engine can be overly complex and less intuitive than other platforms, making it difficult to pull specific data without significant manual setup. Additionally, some users find that the platform’s high level of flexibility leads to a cluttered configuration process, which can be overwhelming for smaller teams to manage. Customer Support is only via email.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

HiBob has a very intuitive and modern interface compared to other HRIS platforms I’ve used. It’s simple for employees to navigate, whether they’re checking payslips, updating personal information, or requesting time off. I especially like how customizable the system is—dashboards, workflows, and reports can be tailored to fit the company’s needs without being overly complex. The platform also makes people management much smoother, with features like performance reviews, engagement surveys, and easy org chart visibility. Another standout is how well it integrates with other tools, which reduces manual work and keeps everything connected. Overall, HiBob feels people-centric, engaging, and much less “clunky” than traditional HR systems.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

The reporting and analytics capabilities are somewhat limited and lack flexibility. Certain features, such as onboarding, 1:1 scheduling, and performance tools, seem underdeveloped. Setting up and customizing the platform can also take a considerable amount of time. The mobile app offers fewer functions compared to the desktop version. Additionally, the pricing structure is not very transparent and may be expensive for smaller teams.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

Reporting, Docs, and the Heartcore have all been standout features for us. The reporting and dashboards are very intuitive, and I appreciate that the available features and options keep getting better. The documentation is seamless and straightforward, making it much easier to use than our previous tool. The Heartcore has been especially valuable during our implementation phase and as we work to refine our processes. It allows us to see what has worked well for other clients and to connect with others in the community.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

We struggle with some of our time off policies and not being able to just set it and forget it given the particular policy parameters and some limitations on Bob's end. It's encouraging to see the consistent improvement and forward thinking from Bob though, and I think we will eventually get to where we need to be.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now spend less time on constant manual system maintenance and troubleshooting, which allows our team to focus on more meaningful and impactful projects. Our onboarding, time off, and document management processes have improved significantly, benefiting both administrators and users. The ease of use has also led to higher participation rates and faster completion times in performance-related activities.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I use HiBob HRIS to manage various aspects such as performance, surveys, compensation cycles, and all employee information in a centralized manner. I appreciate how HiBob HRIS acts as a single source of truth that provides visibility to other roles within the company. I especially enjoy the granularity of its permissions and the ability to edit what information we want to appear in employee profiles. Additionally, I find that the initial setup was very simple once you understand how to structure things, which makes its daily use easier.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I have some concerns with HiBob HRIS. I find it challenging to see the performance evolution by employee, which limits our ability to monitor progress adequately. Additionally, it would be beneficial to be able to generate more detailed dashboards and automate sending them to certain profiles within the company. Also, I would like to be able to schedule recurring 1:1 meetings, which is not currently possible. Time tracking is frustrating, especially when managing employees in different locations or cities, which creates friction. More limits need to be set on annual price increases (which are high), the product should continue to improve to be one of the best in the market, but it should not impact the customers.

I use HiBob HRIS to manage performance, surveys, time off, compensation cycles, and employee information, providing a single point of truth and visibility, with granular permissions and profile editing.

I like HiBob HRIS because it is very intuitive and integrates well with Slack and Microsoft. It makes it easy for the team to book and track things themselves, ensuring that tasks don't get missed. The ease of initial setup is also noteworthy.

It would be good to be able to send documents to be signed and automatically stored. If there was a legally protected way of sending documents to be signed and then automatically saved down, that would fix the issue.

HiBob is a highly comprehensive solution for HR management. Its design is very intuitive and user-friendly, with an excellent user experience and a well-executed interface, which facilitates navigation and daily use.

The analytics and reporting functions are truly powerful and customizable, allowing us to make quick decisions based on real data, something that used to take us much longer.

Additionally, it offers numerous additional functionalities to automate processes such as onboarding and offboarding, and everything is integrated in one place: performance, hiring, and core, which significantly simplifies daily management.

Furthermore, it is worth highlighting that HiBob's support is quick and always willing to help, which ensures that any question or problem is resolved efficiently.

One aspect that could be improved is that all administrators have access to all folders and signatures, which can be complicated for a global company. However, we have managed to find ways to handle it without issues.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I like the attractive layout and the app for staff, which makes using the platform more enjoyable. The simple annual leave process is great because staff can request directly, reducing the possibility of mistakes. The process used to be time-consuming and inefficient, with requests going back and forth to multiple people. Now, it's streamlined. I also appreciate the one-to-one features; I conduct them regularly, and it helps me keep track and add private notes.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Initially the support was not there, and I had to figure out a lot on my own. I feel more individual support would have been more beneficial to me as I am part-time and could not attend all of the webinars. The initial setup was okay to start but got harder as we didn't have the support even though we requested it.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use HiBob HRIS for secure data storage, direct manager links for authorizations, and streamline the leave process. It prevents mistake-prone, back-and-forth communication and allows me to efficiently conduct and manage one-on-ones, adding private notes, all within an attractive app layout.

1. When i need to create a process i have to create in 2 different steps, in setting and in flow 
2. The org people part could be much more used for example in directory the column should be editables, all of them so easier to change them and not going one by one employee inside their profile 
3. in attendance could be much way easier to have in the dashboard the potential option to settle the timing of start and not only start bottom and start to count from that moment.

The functionality is excellent. Everything is intuitive and easy to find, which makes day-to-day HR work much smoother. The self-serve features are great for employees, reducing admin and helping people manage their own information confidently. I also really like the review and performance module; it’s clean, simple to navigate, and makes the whole process far more efficient for both managers and employees.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

There aren’t any major dislikes — most of the things we’ve wanted to tweak have been very specific to our own business needs rather than issues with the platform itself. Occasionally we’ve come across features we’d like to customise a bit more, but these are company-specific preferences rather than gaps in HiBob’s functionality. Overall, it hasn’t been a blocker, just something that would make things even smoother for us.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HiBob brings everything under one roof, which has made a huge difference to how we manage HR. The self-serve functionality saves a significant amount of time for the HR team and managers, and it empowers employees to update their own details, access documents, and manage time off without needing manual intervention. Keeping all HR information, processes, and workflows in one place has improved accuracy, reduced admin, and made onboarding and offboarding far more consistent.

It’s also helped us streamline performance reviews, centralise documentation, and gain better visibility over analytics and workforce data. Overall, HiBob has improved efficiency, reduced manual work, and given us a much cleaner, more organised way of managing people operations.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I love the dynamic fully automated checklists and that I can pretty much auto trigger any manual task now with an automation. The MS Teams integration is great too as it saves time for our team and managers. I love the analytics and dashboards as well as the AI functionality. I was also so impressed that what was promised at the Sales call is true to the experience in the product, and our implementation went smoothly even when we self-implemented. I recommend HiBob as a HRIS whenever I get a chance; I love, love, love the product and am so pumped to see what HiBob builds in the future.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

The Hiring platform still has room to go in terms of its functionality for automation and bulk assessing applicants but I know they are working on it. Also the Forms section while there is a workaround, it would be great to be able to get employees to complete forms without having to load that info in the employee information fields. I would love to see Hi Bob build true forms that can then be reported on in bulk the forms that need all staff input but don't fit an employee survey. I would also like to see Australian payroll forms like TFN & Super integrated into the platform. Additionally, the goal-setting section needs some work as the metrics are pretty basic, for example, you can't make a goal as less than a particular number of days and if you are hitting the target, it marks it off as complete.

HiBob HRIS automates onboarding, tracks leave balances, syncs payroll, manages employee goals, and surveys, and measures performance, helping us streamline HR processes.

The ease of use is appreciable, and it is convenient to be able to group information. It is also possible to adjust the tool according to one's needs. However, even though many workarounds are possible, it still remains quite limiting.

there is a lack of connectivity between the modules
it regularly happens that the software is not reflected by HR (work stoppage and timesheet

the timesheet module is not at all user-friendly and does not represent reality for hourly rate employees

it is obvious that Bob is designed for managing professional employees with an annual salary and not hourly rate

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage several sites and this solution helps us centralize information, thus facilitating communication between human resources and managers. It is also easier to have an overview of tasks and to plan effectively during absences.

I appreciate the system’s flexibility and its ability to scale, with the option to “bolt on” additional features as the system grows. It’s also very intuitive and easy to use for administrators, managers, and front-line employees.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Because it wasn’t originally built for U.S. use, it still seems to be catching up on some basic U.S. practices and needs. As a result, you end up having to use workarounds for certain functions, such as performance improvement plans and allowing employees or managers to view job descriptions.

This is a scalable tool that’s helping us build the infrastructure we need to deploy our people strategy across the globe.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

User-Friendly Interface. It has a modern design that feels more like a social platform than a traditional HR system. Employees and HR teams can easily navigate dashboards, update personal details, request time off, and engage with company updates. 
Its Mobile App does not allow all features of the Web version but it makes it easy to access info on the go.  

It also has Good Analytics & Reporting.  
Help HR teams make data-driven decisions.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

HiBob’s customer support does not directly resolve issues, they often push the responsibility back to the customer. 
   - Instead of fixing technical issues remotely, support often provides instructions for the customer to resolve them.  
   - This can be frustrating, especially for non-technical users who expect direct intervention.  
   - generic, copy-paste answers 
   - This can lead to multiple back-and-forth emails, slowing down resolution.  
   - long response times especially for complex issues.  
   - Follow-ups can be slow, and escalations don’t always happen as expected.  
   - Cself-service articles instead of getting immediate, hands-on help.  
   - While documentation is useful, it’s not always enough for urgent or technical issues.  
   - Instead of adjusting settings for customers, support often tells HR admins how to do it themselves.  
   - This puts more burden on HR teams, especially if they lack technical expertise.

HR data, documents, and processes are spread across multiple tools (emails, spreadsheets, manual workflows).

As our organisation grows, having greater flexibility and more customisation options would make it much easier to tailor the system to fit our requirements.

I really liked the new AI features that allow us to quickly find information across the platform. Another improvement I've seen the growth into other modules, in trying to become the all-in-one HR platform it promises to be. I believe it's going in the correct direction, just missing a few updates and twicks.

The integrations with other systems are still quite limited, and the accesses super constrained. There should be a bit more flexibility on this last point, so different accesses are provided according to each company's needs. In relation to the integrations with other systems, more features should be developed so we can have clean data across platforms, with Hibob being or mains source of truth.

What I like most about HiBob HRIS is how simple and intuitive it is. It works both as an internal social platform that helps engage employees and as a powerful day-to-day tool for the HR team. All employee information is centralized in one place, time-off requests and approvals (vacation and sick days) are easy to manage, and the Quick Fix tool makes end-of-month attendance tracking much smoother.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

While HiBob is a simple and intuitive platform, I often feel that it can be quite primitive and lacks some basic features that would significantly improve day-to-day work.
For example, there is no proper search tool to find older shoutouts in the feed — you have to scroll endlessly, and even then it’s not possible to reach very old posts.
In the Tasks section, there’s no easy way to set tasks to repeat on a specific date each month, and there’s also no option to nudge or remind people who haven’t signed a document or completed a task yet.

I like the versatility of HiBob HRIS. We use it not only to store employee data, but also to complete promotion cycles, performance review cycles, reporting, employee surveys, and gathering feedback. It's great that all HR-related processes can be housed in one system. It makes it easier for the HR team to manage and easier to gain insights into this data through reporting tools. The integration with SmartRecruiters is efficient for employee onboarding, and with Polaris, it automatically inputs any holiday requests into our employees' timesheets.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I find a very slight issue when we download reports; sometimes numbers are stored as text. Also, the 'ask AI' feature when creating reports needs some work. It is rarely able to generate a report that I want using prompts, so I just have to do it myself.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

The core Hi Bob system is user friendly, easy for employees and managers to log time off and great calendar view. As an admin, I can carry out all essential tasks, changes for payroll and updates. The reporting side is buildable and can bespoke for everything we need.
Payroll seems to have finally sorted itself out after 12 months of issues- very minor issues arises now and then rather than every month. Generally the support team have been extremely helpful and quick to resolve anything- please dont change this!

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Add-ons are quite expensive when you find out how basic they are- i.e. having to build everything yourself or link to another external site seems a bit excessive to pay for this. There are better systems out there from experts so I don't feel its worth the price tag.
The AI analysis can be helpful e.g. in performance review section but is extremely limited in reporting area- bit of a shame. 
Having to raise a ticket for every minor issue- no matter how urgent can be difficult- end up speaking to multiple people who push you to go and read a document or they don't understand the issue- often feel that they don't even read the message or look at any images attached - very automatic reply which just delays things and causes frustration. Some thing they fix but id say 70% of issues they cant fix and its  a case of 'Bob cant do that yet' followed by 'how long is a piece of string' for when the update will be made.

Chat function is very limited - don’t like being pointed to go a read a whole page of information just to get answers to a simple question. To have more involved support you have to pay more which isn’t great for smaller companies with lower budget. Could at least offer a few free sessions?!

What I like most about HiBob is how much it helps with our onboarding. It keeps everything organized and makes the process easy for everyone — new joiners, the team, and admins. The reports are really easy to set up and access, and very helpful too. Plus, I love the clean and simple design.

We’d love to see some improvements around PTO features — especially making it easier and faster to create and adjust policies to fit our reality.

It would also be great to have clearer, more detailed policy descriptions so team members can better understand them.

I really appreciate HiBob HRIS for its smooth UX, which makes it feel easy and simple to use. The interface gives a soft, homey feeling, and I can find things quite easily because the menu is simple, clean, and neat without being overpopulated. I love that it's customizable, allowing us to incorporate our own brand colors and logos, which is quite cool. The modular setup makes navigation easy, letting me move around different sections like surveys, performance, and goals practically. As someone not originally from HR, I find I can navigate it super easily without previous HR management experience, making it quite smooth in my opinion. Additionally, it's great for small to medium enterprises keeping things simple and offers quite some value for the price.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I am getting a lot of notifications, and some of them are either not very important or not very relevant for me. Maybe it's about the settings, or maybe it can be configured better by ourselves or maybe just the way that HiBob HRIS works. But, yeah, that's one thing that could be improved in my opinion, to keep the notifications more clean and more purposeful. I think I had trouble with identifying the important fields and how to configure and set them up. If done by a real HR professional, the setup would be or should have been way easier than how it was for me.

During the initial setup of HiBob HRIS, we faced issues because the first support person assigned to us didn't seem very knowledgeable about HiBob. Bob is really easy to use; it's easy to set up policies and and when we first moved to Bob we had lots of support from the staff helping with the data migration. It's used all the time by all the staff and it was easy to make it part of our regular HR functions, such as on and off boarding, document management for policies that staff needed to read, supervisions and appraisals and time off!

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Sometimes I struggle to match up the fields I need in reports so I can end up with a few empty boxes, but it takes a little practice and then once it's set up it's not so bad. Sometimes manually switching staff from full time holiday policies to part time (or the other way round) can be a faff - but that could be how we set it up.

Tracking and approving leave is a huge part of it. Giving staff a single place where they can see what they need to about their leave helps give them control over managing holidays especially and frees up HR staff to not have to be tracking everything manually. I like how easy HiBob HRIS is to use from both an administrative perspective and for end users. Our users have reported a lot of ease in navigating the strong user experience. There are even features like feedback and one-on-ones that we haven't fully launched yet, but our end users are already utilizing them without training because they're just so obvious and clear to use. The feedback feature allows managers and peers to share feedback on performance, which then gets integrated into annual performance reviews. This makes performance reviews more comprehensive and holistic and helps reduce bias, ensuring managers have a more complete picture of someone's performance.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Right now, probationary reviews, or our three-month check-ins, are really clunky. There's not a clear workflow for that type of review, causing some manual work on our end. So on the back end, it's not the best because it's not as automated as we would like. Also, because we've set it up as one large annual review that we add people to monthly based on when their probationary period is up, they don't have clear deadlines around when they need to complete it. So that's a feature that's definitely lacking or could be improved. What I'd really like to see is how we do three-month check-ins so that managers are reviewing and individuals are reviewing themselves, tied to their start date.

I really appreciate the ability to build task flows in HiBob HRIS, which we can edit as we continue to improve our onboarding journey. I also like how it seamlessly integrates between different products, allowing us to go from hiring to issuing offer letters and then pushing new hires through as employees in our systems. This integration means not having to manage candidates separately, saving us a lot of time. The customization option to make it relevant for our company is also a big plus for me. Adding features has been really simple, and the system is quite straightforward and intuitive to navigate.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

There's no LinkedIn integration at the moment between LinkedIn and HiBob HRIS, so there's a lot of manual importing of candidates from LinkedIn Recruiter into HiBob, which takes a significant amount of time. I also think it could be better in terms of scheduling interviews. There's a lot of manual effort needed, especially when arranging virtual meetings, as it doesn't seamlessly integrate with Google Calendars, for example.

It's highly customizable to meet our specific needs and has made our processes much more efficient and straightforward. Beyond the typical HR functions, HiBob offers a lot of engaging tools that we really enjoy. It seamlessly integrates all our tools and processes, making everything run smoothly together.

Nothing major - we're a relatively small organization so it does most of what we need it to do plus more. There are some limitations and work-arounds can take time to set-up (or are not always available), but they are always making improvements to the software and adding additional features. I really like that there's a single source of truth in HiBob HRIS, which is very helpful for us globally. The user engagement is also a big plus. Our old HR system was quite outdated and hard to use, so it didn't really engage employees, but HiBob HRIS is very straightforward and intuitive. The feedback from employees has been very positive. I appreciate its integration capabilities with tools we already use like Slack, email, and calendars, which makes communication smoother. Employee engagement is very good now, and we've improved our onboarding and offboarding processes significantly. Promotions and movements within the company are well-documented and tracked too. From a finance perspective, the visibility it provides into payroll across different countries reduces errors and improves reporting. It's very easy to use and the integration with other software fulfills an essential need for us.

I think what could maybe be improved is knowing, when you start, which modules you need. There may have been a few that we would have had in the beginning had we realised the functionality was not within the modules we signed up for.

I appreciate the flexibility of HiBob HRIS, especially the ability to adjust the tool and customize every field I want. I also really like the analytics part of it. It's easy to use and quick to adapt to, which makes it very user-friendly. The support is excellent, as they did more than expected during the setup and didn't charge extra for additional consultancy hours. I also find the integration with tools like Slack and Google practical for our needs.

I wish there was more flexibility on the hiring part because we tested it a little bit in the past, and it didn't meet our needs. That's why we decided to work with different APIs.

I like that HiBob HRIS is really customizable. It's like a one-stop shop, and it has a ton of modules, which means it can grow with our organization. Even though we don't use half of them, it's nice to know they are there. I can create custom fields and toggle functionalities on or off, which I find very helpful. Also, HiBob HRIS makes everything way more efficient, especially with things like the compensation module, which helps streamline our salary review process. It's valuable because it helps make all our processes more efficient.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Sometimes it's a bit unclear what fields are linked with another functionality or module in HiBob HRIS. There are some restraints on functionalities for fields, and the customizability has a limit. For the compensation module, we found out benefits need to be under a certain category, which we didn't know about. It's not always clear what everything does or what it is linked to. Additionally, the initial setup was really time-intensive. It wasn't hard, but it took a lot of time to upload all the necessary information, especially when compiling data from different sources into one sheet for import.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

We’re a small startup, and HiBob gives us 'big-company' HRIS capabilities without feeling heavy. It has a strong set of core HR features, lots of customization, and employees actually enjoy using it. We especially like the Clubs functionality, the clean UI, and the visualizations it provides. The management dashboards look good and are very useful day-to-day. Implementation was also fast and straightforward; we were able to roll out key processes quickly and self-service, which was a huge plus. I also appreciate the predefined templates (e.g. onboarding flows and engagement surveys) that helped us get started efficiently.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Because implementation can be very self-service and quick, it’s easy to feel like you’re not using all features to their full potential unless you have a dedicated HRIS analyst. Dashboard export could be stronger. Also, while the system includes some templates, I’d love to see more ready-made templates added over time for existing customers - e.g. an employee reimbursement request or training request workflow. I know you can build these via online/community resources, but for small teams it can be time-consuming setup task.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HiBob gives us a single source of truth for people data and core HR processes without feeling like an enterprise-heavy system. As a small startup, we needed something we could implement quickly and run largely self-service, and HiBob let us standardize onboarding, employee records, and basic HR workflows fast. It also helps leadership with visibility through dashboards and reporting, and employees actually enjoy using it. It was a good choice considering our fast growth in headcount.

I use HiBob HRIS for People-related tasks such as running performance reviews, getting data on our business, and handling payroll. It's really good for gathering data and analytics, allowing us to have an overview of our team. I particularly like that I can add my own filters when looking at data, making it easy to get specific info we need, such as for salary reviews. I like the organization section, where I can see a full org chart and filter it as needed. The integration with Slack is great because it syncs automatically and sends reminders of new joiners. Additionally, there is a social aspect that I appreciate, as people can make posts and tag team members, which makes it really useful.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

There isn't any flexibility to change dates of reviews when running performance reviews. If someone needs extra time to complete their review, I'm not able to change the due date after sending the review out.

I find that HiBob HRIS really streamlines the onboarding process by reducing the manual work we used to do, which minimizes human error. It also provides employees with a lot of autonomy to manage their personal data. I appreciate the data analysis features, which are quite helpful with historical and DEI data tracking over time. The user interface is very good and easy to use for both employees and admins, which means there's less need for HR to guide employees on using the system.

It has a lot of great modules, but you have to pay for them, which is quite frustrating. It just creates a bigger cost to the service when it would be nice if it could just be included.

I like how easy the interface is for everyone to use. Me as a superadmin and all the employees and managers. There is a lot of functionality available which can streamline HR processes. 

The social media feel of the homepage is something which a lot of our staff enjoy, as it is very familiar to them. 

It is very customisable which can be helpful for us to implement whatever internal process we would like to.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

One thing which has been an issue for us is the inability to send just notifications about time off requests to a second manager, without sending the approval request itself. I've not been able to find a workaround for this so far.

It is a single source of truth for us. We have been able to consolidate many word and excel document into one place, this saves our teams and managers a lot of time.

I really like HiBob HRIS for its easy-to-use interface, which is very user-friendly. I appreciate how easy it is to navigate around the platform; I don't find it hard to understand how it works, which helps me save time. I particularly enjoy the ability to quickly generate customized reports and filter data, as it doesn't take very long, allowing me to work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Sometimes HiBob HRIS setup can be too simple and not very technical, which feels like it's only suited for companies with a small headcount. It's not friendly for companies with a big headcount because it can be rigid in managing special cases for employees. Some setups are too generalized and standardized globally, not considering the different regulations and practices across various countries. Also, as HR, I'm unable to amend certain employee personal data even when I notice it's incorrect. The employee have to amend it from their end.

I find HiBob HRIS easy to navigate and generate reports, saving me time with its user-friendly interface. It's great for managing employee data, leaves, and performance reviews.

I like that HiBob HRIS is very simple and the user experience is good. It's doing a pretty good job for reporting and data analysis at a basic level, which is all we need right now. It really helps me centralize information and respond to requests much faster.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I think you're doing a poor job for managing multi-language offices and companies like ours. The modules aren't fully translated, and it causes a lot of issues when we're trying to roll something out globally, which is most of the time. Another piece that's not working well at all is the automated letters that are linked to compensation events, which are extremely hard to set up and make them look just decent.

I really like how user-friendly HiBob HRIS is. Navigating is clear and everything is obviously marked, so there aren't any complicated workarounds. Everything is just a couple of clicks away, making it easy to do everything I need. It really makes keeping employee documents and other vital information easy. The organizational chart is really clear, which helps when onboarding people so they can see everyone and what everyone does. I also like the integration with Slack, where I can see when people are off or if there are any work anniversaries or birthdays. HiBob HRIS makes booking holidays and tracking days off super easy, and it reduces back-and-forth communication between team members.

I like that HiBob HRIS is easy to configure and it can be used for different purposes. Even though it has many out-of-the-box functionalities, those functionalities can be turned into different purposes and repurposed for other HR needs. It's a very dynamic tool that can be fed with good basic logic and built in a way where it requires lower maintenance for its automations and flows. The system provides permissions so that when there are changes, it helps update the system without human involvement. Its ease of configuration means that the tool can be run and administered by the HR team without needing to be very IT savvy.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I feel like there is a bit of need for standardization in terms of functionalities. Different modules or tools within HiBob HRIS are being released at different times, and the latest ones seem to have more dynamic options. But some of the features released prior to them have not been updated to the most configurable or flexible options. It would be great to have some of the old tools revamped to get more flexibility.
