What do you like best about Personio?

I use Personio for everyday HR related tasks like applying for leave, tracking attendance, and accessing personal and company information. It makes handling HR processes easy without needing to go through manual steps or frequent follow-ups. I appreciate the clean and straightforward interface, which makes it quick to use even for simple tasks. This reduces back-and-forth communication as most information is readily available and up-to-date. It brings clarity and structure to everyday HR interactions and reduces the dependency on manual communication. I value the notification system and approval workflows as they keep me informed and updated without needing to follow up. What do you dislike about Personio?

One area to improve is flexibility, especially in terms of customization and reporting. At times certain workflows feel a bit rigid and it's not always easy to tailor them to specific needs. Still very well integrated into our infrastructure – intuitive and easy to use, allowing employees to work with it without extensive training. The focus on self-service with defined release guidelines works well. We particularly value the broad integration options via API with systems like Microsoft 365 and others. What do you dislike about Personio?

The number of paid add-ons is quite high. Often, we only need a small function, but it’s bundled into a paid add-on with many additional features we don’t use. As a result, the cost-benefit ratio doesn’t always fit.

What do you dislike about Personio?

One-off pay components still need to be provided via the payroll export, but that is also down to DATEV itself. I feel it’s clear that Personio has shifted its focus towards large corporations in terms of its target customer base. What do you like best about Personio?

I like that Personio offers everything in one place, where both our HR department and management, as well as employees, can access it. I particularly appreciate the ability to manage vacation days, absences, and time tracking in daily business. The filing function for contract and salary documents, performance records, employee interviews, and salary developments is very helpful. The corresponding reporting functions make further optimization easier for HR and management. Additionally, it is very easy to handle and intuitive to use, which is a big plus. What do you dislike about Personio?

For very small companies, Personio might be too powerful and therefore also too expensive. You really have to want to use it with all its features so that it is not just a simple storage tool. The setup requires some time and must be thoroughly thought out until all rights & roles, working time models, onboarding/offboarding templates, etc. are stored, even though there is assistance and plenty of support articles available for this. What do you like best about Personio?

I use Personio to store all my important documents, track attendance, and manage leaves. I really appreciate how it centralizes everything in one place, making it easy for me to manage my documents, attendance, and leave tracking very simply. The user interface is very friendly. The centralization helps a lot as I don't have to search emails or different systems to find important documents like my college degree, passport, or Aadhaar card. Everything is stored in one place, which saves time and reduces confusion. The initial setup is very easy and straightforward. Basic configuration like adding personal details, uploading documents, and setting up attendance and leaves was easy to manage. What do you like best about Personio?

I used Personio to store all my documents in one place, which I really appreciate. Tracking leave is very easy, and it’s convenient to apply and track leaves. I also like that my company can easily access the personal information I provide. Keeping all my personal documents safe and easily accessible is a big plus for me. The high level of security, where only I can access my documents, is something I value. Personio makes it easy to access documents like contracts, ID proofs, and policy acknowledgements and avoid the risk of losing important files or searching through emails and folders. What do you like best about Personio?

I like that Personio is tailored to Germany, making it sync well with German payroll, which is very convenient. I also appreciate how it's mainly set up for Germany and Europe, which is easy to work with. Another thing I enjoy is the ability to do quite a few customizations myself, like setting up multiple work locations and adding public holidays. This customization feature allows for creating leave and time that are completely individual to the company, which I find very convenient. What do you dislike about Personio?

I think the UX and UI is not really that great. They don't have great analytics. It doesn't really work that well. And, also, I think the user interface is not that nice. It seems it's very basic. Also, the features that they've introduced about performance review cycles or engagement survey feedback from employees is not that great, which is unfortunate because it would be ideal if I have an HRS which also has performance reviews and has feedback built in.
