I like that it makes business insights digestable and so easily accessible for our team across the organization. This facilitates a space where feedback can be provided and which ultimately contributes to our individual professional development as sales professionals. It's not simply a recorded call or AI-generated email, but a reflection on how you are approaching your prospects and customers and overall, company mission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Still waiting for more Latin Ameican #'s :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is so instrumental not only in the ramping process as a new sales rep anywhere you go, but it's so impactful to not worry about having to take notes during the call b/c you know Gong has your bac k with the recording to go back and listen to and use the AI tool on the backend to summarize the meeting. I can't think of anything that I would say I dislike about Gong Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gong's features and development is matched very closely to what their customers are asking for. Everything is extremely intuitive to use. In particular, I love being able to search call transcripts for details I may have forgotten, and using Gong's AI to generate follow-up items to save me time. There's nothing that comes to mind. If there's anything, I wish it were more customer success than sales driven, but I don't feel limited by any means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gong has made a huge difference for our sales team. It’s great for reviewing calls, spotting what works, and learning from each other. I love how it highlights things like talk time and objections so we can really understand our calls. Plus, it connects with our CRM so everything’s in one place. It’s been super helpful for improving our approach and closing deals faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There’s a lot of info in Gong, and it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. It would be nice if the dashboard was easier to filter so we can focus on the key details faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to not only review my own calls and demos, but also to hear how my teammates navigate conversaitons and verbage they use. It's a great tool to pick up on something new that can help, refine what I'm already doing well, and most importantly - identify gaps in my own game. Gettig this instant feedback after a call and the ability to review it whenever, has been extremely helpful with my growth and improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Literally nothing. The automated AI notes post meeting are some of the most accurate I've seen aut-developed. New features have popped up that I hadn't even thought about as a tool to help. Gong is ahead of the game, and continues to innovate. I look forward to using this toll daily, and seeing what else Gong will provide to help me level up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who does numerous customer meetings, especially scoping discussions where the stakes are high and details complex. Gong has become an invaluable tool for me it helps me keep track of "what the hell happened" during those sessions, ensuring I don't miss any critical points.
I really like being able to search the transcripts, ask questions about the recording, the analytics that measure speaking time and the ability to share the call easily with customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many of our customers are based in Scotland and Gong can struggle with their accent. Also Gong is not cheap. For small teams or start ups the cost can feel prohibitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how you can quickly check calls to see if certain things were discussed. As an account manager, it makes it so easy to see if something was mentioned to the AE during the sales process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish you could search all calls from one customer to see which call something was talked about or if something was talked about at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is easy to use and navigate to pull the data you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We used to use Chorus, and it was much quicker to snap sections of the call and share. Gong currently requires more clicks to do so, which is a time suck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a VAST amount of organizational and revenue intelligence buried in sales communications. But, that intel is also some of your business' most important. Gong not only helps you track it, organize it, and surface it for future use, but does it in an easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate manner. Everyone I have directly worked with has been excellent. With the rise of access to LLMs and GenAI over the past two years, this market is getting increasingly crowded. But Gong is OG. They've been there, they've done that and still they find ways to surprise and delight with new, meaningful product features and functionality (and I am sure it's because they practice what they preach). I often joke on calls with the team over there that I'm using flags to trigger trackers for their product team...but they're serious: those flags are indeed being tracked and used to prioritize new features and functionality for its customers. Some support growing pains, but when I surfaced them, the team jumped and resolved quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gong offers valuable insights into call data and sales interactions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Gong offers valuable insights into call data and sales interactions, our experience has been impacted by significant data access limitations, especially concerning data portability and bulk export capabilities. If you're considering switching platforms and have six months or less on your contract, start engaging the Gong API documentation immediately to download all of your call data in a usable format.
Gong’s support team has stated, “Gong is in full compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and all related data accessibility and portability requirements. As per CCPA, we ensure data is available in a ‘readily usable format’ in line with industry standards and consistent with Gong’s documentation and product specifications.” However, their current solution is far from convenient or accessible—it requires downloading calls individually, which is impractical and inefficient for a large volume of data.
Another support message emphasized, “Gong does provide an API for data export, including documentation to facilitate access to individual call downloads... we remain committed to assisting your team within these existing product parameters.” This means no further customization or support is available if you need bulk access to your call data. This lack of flexibility has required us to engage our development team at additional cost, adding significant operational and opportunity costs just to extract data we already own.
If your business needs easy, bulk access to call data or plans to integrate with other platforms, these limitations can create challenges. The lack of robust data export options has made it hard to justify the platform’s cost, especially as it falls short of meeting practical data management needs.
