What do you like best about Gong?

I think one of the best features of Gong is the call overviews that come through after completely client meetings.

Many days I have back to back calls and when I get finished with them it is great to have an organized outline of what I covered in the call so I can take care of my necessary follow up.

I have also seen an increase of clients attending our meetings due to the automated reminders that go out the day of our call.

I use Gong every day in my work flow and it helps keep me organized in a busy work environment.

I wasn't familiar with Gong before I started my current position, but it is quite easy to implement into a daily work plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gong?

A newer aspect that hasn't been my favorite is the quantity of reminder emails that go out the day of my meetings. I have been seeing upwards of 4 reminders to each client going out. I hope this is just a bug and I have been able to downplay it with my clients as an AI over reach, but hopefully this is going to be resolved soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Gong?

I love the transcription. we have lots of existing video demo content which we need to either produce equivalent written content for, or share with customers with markers for them to skip to the area relevant for them. The gong transcription, summary and video marker tools make it so fast for us to skip to the right part, remember what's been said in a meeting, or create cropped demo content that can be shared Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gong?

I haven't found too many negatives so far. It would be good to be able to upload a video thats been recorded by someone else (e.g chris) and have the transcription notes say "chris said" rather than Holly said, since I (Holly) uploaded it for transcription. this is minor though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?

- taking meeting notes for me, meaning i can focus fully on what customers are telling me, without writing or typing.

- creating videos with markers to skip to the most relevant part of the conversation

- Transcription. Sometimes I copy and paste the meeting transcript into our internal company AI assistant, and ask it to convert the transcript into text for slides, brief descriptions, email content etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gong?

Conversation Intelligence allows sellers to focus on the meeting and not notetaking. The data that can be gathered and analyzed after the call inside of Gong is priceless. Helps sellers follow up better. Front line managers can easily see who's performing well and be notified without having to sit through entire meetings. Saves a ton of time. Leadership needed clearer visibility into how prospecting meetings went without relying on the sellers meeting notes and interpretation of what happened. What do you like best about Gong?

Gong lets me stay focused and engaged in all my meetings by taking all the notes for me. It is extremely beneficial because it allows me to be actively listening to my clients and discover real pain points that they have, leading to business for myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gong?

The only thing I dislike about Gong is that it sometimes can not show up on the meeting, and I just wish I would recieve a notification if the person I am meeting with has declined the Gong recording so that I can prepare otherwise for the meeting (notebook pen etc). Gong is recording my meeting and taking notes for me so that I can be acitively engaged in my conversation. 1. I've noticed that recorded calls are sometimes available a bit later than expected, which can make it tricky to review and analyze conversations in a timely manner.

What do you like best about Gong?

The intuitive and AI-driven nature of Gong is literally one of the only ways I can continue to be successful in my career in sales. For example, as someone frequently clogs her own calendar with customer meetings, I find it very hard to remember to enter in notes into our CRM, and sometimes even forget what I need to do as follow-up to a call. Since using Gong, specifically Gong Engage, it's cut down any (sometimes all) time I spend on follow-up, freeing me to focus more time on larger priorities.

It's also amazingly easy to find call recordings and notes, in order to remind myself of meetings from months before, especially if it's a prospect who has ghosted me and then shows up all of the sudden, wanting to revisit the conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gong?

What do you like best about Gong?

Gong is a great way to ensure our marketing team is on the pulse of our prospective and existing customers, at scale. Before we'd try to sit in on sales calls, but it was an organizing nightmare and hard to go back to reference call details or share snippets with others. Gong is a game-changer for me as a product marketer in better understanding our prospects pain points in their own language, what objections and questions they have, and how our messaging is resonating. What do you dislike about Gong?

The transcription has gotten better but still isn't quite as good as I'd hope. And similar with the tools like text recognition from screen sharing (e.g. for searching for calls where salespeople are using specific marketing assets). What do you like best about Gong?

The content-recording capability is brilliant. Allowing internal, external, and outbound calls to be recorded. These recordings are then analysed to provide a summary, key points, and other analytical data about said calls. This is helpful when working collaboratively. The AI search feature allows you to search for a specific topic, point, or speaker within the call, adding efficiency between teams and colleagues. The request feedback and generate a follow-up email features are also very useful in all instances. We use it all the time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gong?

Only downside I have experienced is a delay in call recordings being available, but given the level of analytical data provided alongside the call recording, this is manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The transcript is really good on Gong. It's really easy to use. It is really a good application. The transcript feature on this app is really phenomenal. Ease of implementation on this application is really good.

when im in full screen watching a recording, i cant click to another part of the call. i just realized i have to scroll down. would be cool if it could be more like youtube where you can click on the line below. i also wish it analyzed my calls faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
