The application is continually changing with weekly hotfixes and semi annual upgrades. While this can pose frustrations when enhancements do not work as expected, it is reassuring to know we can reach out to the support team and typically get resolution to major issues within a week. It has an excellent integrity of the data, since it has updates in payroll, benefits and other aspects of human resources. All this data integrity is fantastic, since you have the entire human resources area in a single database.

It also has the ability to create customized and detailed reports. They are somewhat complex to perform, but if you dedicate enough time to visualize all the options, you get a lot of information and it will be beneficial for the company.

Highlight the interface, the appearance and the configuration, since I consider that it is visually very attractive and it is also quite well optimized. One must be very careful when implementing Ceridian Dayforce, since it requires time, knowledge and to know this kind of programs well.

It is necessary to dedicate time and to think well who is going to devote to realize the configuration of this program, since although soon it is very useful and beneficial for the productivity in the beginning it is lost a lot of time configuring everything well. We will go live on Ceridian Dayforce in July 2019, and our staff is on the edge of their seats weekly to hear what aspects of their job are soon going to be automated. We are replacing 3 systems with Ceridian, and taking 4 ancillary systems to 2, and as a result will have more consistent data throughout our footprint. Today, if you wanted to pull data, you would have to login to the system of record for that data piece, and it could be any one of those 7 systems. We have 2 issues we have run into thus far. The first is IVR timekeeping. We need to house caller IDs for our 3rd party IVR solution, and Ceridian does not have a field that can accomodate and export the caller ids for our job with the max number of whitelisted phone numbers, which is 18. We can manage this in the 3rd party's portal, but would have prefered to manage in Ceridian.

The 2nd is accruals. Ceridian cannot accrue by date, it calculates accruals by the percent of the pay period that falls in each month. The majority of our business is paid bi-weekly on a fluctuating schedule, so that will be a challenge for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am the Corporate Recruiter, so I utilize the Recruiting module probably more than anything else. We rolled it out late last year and it has worked great to help us start to build a database of candidates that we did not have previously. It was well received at our facilities as well, and everyone seemed to catch on quick and are utilizing it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It appears when going in to search for candidates in the Recruiting module, there is no way to search for candidate within a radius of a location. If I am looking for candidates we have in there for our Houston buildings, I am unable to search by a radius, so I then have to search by every nearby town which is very time consuming. It is available for use quickly on every desktop. It is fast to service the clocking in task without many complaints for our staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For some time we were not able to make an Icon on out task bars for easier access. It would end up being a google icon and bring up the google search engine. Most of the computers are updated and able to use the Dayforce clock in icon without trouble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
