I literally spend my 40 hour workweek almost exclusively in Dayforce. Dayforce is pretty customizable (if you run multiple legal entities from one space, you'll run into issues though). Customer Support is pretty good, but can take a very long time on some cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that there are some functions that an end user would expect to work one way, but the dev team did not setup that way, so what should be intuitive is not with quite a few things.
I also dislike that Reporting is way more complicated than it needs to be. I never had issues with other HR SaaS platforms as I do with Dayforce.
Lastly, I dislike that the employee profile is basically useless to an employee. Other platforms have way better profiles for user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Staff is able to easily clock in and out, track pto, see pay stubs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some staff has issues logging into the app to clock in and out depending on their phone brand and strength of the WiFi Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Performance Management has many configuration options. However you need to utilize it it can be configured to meet your needs. It's also nice to have performance related reports right there in the module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Trainer within the platform when you click on help. Some sections don't even have videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dayforce has so far been a great tool for our HR team and the company as a whole. We use a vast majority of their features and have been able to integrate them into our daily work lives. In general, it's easy to use both from an administrative perspective and for our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the downsides of Dayforce are its limitations when it comes to what it can provide. The system in relation to other "big name" HRIS solutions is fairly new, and there are many "obvious" features that seem to missing from it. However, they work to improve it regularly, so I feel confident that with time they will be able to be one of the best systems to use. I look forward especially to additional features on the mobile app as most of our workforce does not have a computer and uses their phones as their primary source for digital communication. The ease of the Dayforce system significantly surpasses that of HPW. Having previously used both HPW and Time and Attendance, I can confidently say that Dayforce has brought a remarkable improvement to our team. Our workload has become much more manageable since its implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The transition to Dayforce was long and tiresome. While the system's ease is a significant improvement over HPW, there are some drawbacks. One notable issue is the inability to print timesheets in the same format we could with Time and Attendance. We frequently used printed timesheets for legal purposes, and the current process is more cumbersome and less readable. This change has added extra steps and complexity to our workflow. Dayforce is easy to use with a simple interface. It has lots of features for HR, payroll, and more. The customer support team is helpful, and it connects well with other systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up Dayforce can take a lot of time and effort. It’s not always easy to learn, especially for new users. Some features can be a bit tricky to use regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dayforce tool is fully integrated. Changes in the masterfile feed to other areas. It makes work easier for HR. It has predictive analytics for employers. TeamRelate and the Performance/Development/Succession tools are great. It is much more robust than its competitors. The Dayforce team has a great "say do ratio". If they say they will do something they do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The billings are not always correct. You need to check the bills.
The support team for projects specifically related to the feeds need to find solutions more quickly. If you use Fidelity for deferred compensation, there is not an easy feed solution. The support team for G/L needs to understand accounting better. The G/L allocations are difficult to set up. You get billed for hours whether support has training or not. File feed chagnes have cost more than the original file feeds themselves sometimes $10K. This is unreasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dayforce is an extremely flexible HRIS which works well for a growing international company. We are finally able to have all of our HR records in one place and run reports on the entire company, rather than piecing everything together from multiple systems. I love the flexibility to add forms and documents as needed for our employees. The onboarding is seemless and the system works well for the entire employee lifecycle. I also really like that the employee Hub can act as a single source of information for our employees. Our employees have fully adopted Dayforce and really seem to like the ease of use. Implementation is ong and expensive. it's a little like getting a new home, but all you have is the frame, everything else has to be built. Although this makes for a longer, more work intensive implementation, it is the reason the system is flexible enough to meet our needs. So there are trade-offs. I also don't like that only a few individuals are able to speak to Dayforce directly. There are times when i would like information about Dayforce and I wish I could go directly yo their customer success, instead of having to reach out to a co-worker to have them contact Dayforce. I think Dayforce as a product has a lot to offer and like any product has room for improvement. I really enjoy working with the product. Like any system, there are sometimes frustrations with certain limitations but all-in-all, it is a nice user interface and I can see how the Dayforce product team continues to try to improve, evolve and add to the product. I have seen the evolution of many modules and I appreciate the work that goes into trying to make it a better experience by listening to customers feedback. I think the monthly customer success calls and spotlights are great. We try to take advantage of learning about everything and anything with Dayforce so that we utilize it to its full potential. Keep up the great work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know it is always easy to pick at faults. The one thing I can say I have disliked is the customer service and our experience with a few implementation consultants that should be SMEs. I would since we are power users of Dayforce, it's challenging at times dealing with resources we are assigned because they do not seem to have the depth of knowledge we are looking for since we are quite competent with the system. I have seen improvements in this area as well, which has in the past been the cause of many frustrations, so I would like to acknowledge that as well. Also, sometimes it seems some enhancements are rushed and many details that seem to us obvious are missed and then this limits the potential for us to use these features. I wish there was more opportunity to work with product owners and provide feedback prior to some of these releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
