What do you like best about Customer.io?

Customer.io was a game-changer for us when we were struggling with deliverability issues. Whether it was HubSpot's suppression policies or other roadblocks, things just weren’t getting right to our audience. Switching to Customer.io felt like a fresh start—it gave us the ability to really understand and segment our audience properly. The tool serves us with great interface and possibilities to communicate with our audience, so now we use it frequently for this purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Integrating it can be tough—the documentation is extensive and not exactly beginner-friendly for non-tech or marketing/communications beginners. This makes it challenging to understand where to start or effectively share its value with stakeholders without thorough assistance. But once you get through the setup, it’s very useful and worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

All the features and communications available. Also has a lot of integrations that makes it a lot easier to connect to the Data Warehouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Sometimes it is a little slow and it would be nice to start to have some AI integrated, for example to duplicate emails in different languages and not having to translate every time. Or some translator intagrated in the creation of the emails/push/in-app, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The tool is way more powerful than expected. We wanted email automations, but Customer.io also includes transactional emails and awesome data analytics about activities in our app. On top of that, as an early stage startup, they offered manageable pricing that scales with us. What do you dislike about Customer.io?

It does have a higher learning curve, but I later realized it's because of how powerful and customizable the platform is. If there was one wishlist item, I'd say it'd be awesome if they had native forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

Customer.io has become absolutely essential for us in managing automatic product communication. Many of our critical email/notification needs are met by the integration we were able to establish. It's also super easy to find specific customer users and troubleshoot issues when our customers report notification delays. Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Editing the dashboard/analytics pages are not intuitive, or even possible at all? Haven't been able to figure it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

We subscribed to the Pro plan. As soon as we subscribed, the onboarding plan was very clear, and the Customer Success Manager assigned to us made sure our transition process met our goal and deadline. The Customer Support and the AI-assisted support is superb. Whenever I can't find answers, I almost always get to speak with a real person within minutes and they work really hard to resolve my issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

The Workflow set up and how to work with Liquid can be a little overwhelming initially, especially as you have to trawl through the tutorials, docs and community posts. However, if you're really stuck that's where the Customer Support Team comes in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

There are no major downsides that I can think of, my only suggestion is that sometimes there are too many options on screen so at first it was difficult to navigate them all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

I've used c.io for over 4 years and it has always come across as one of the most user friendly platforms in the category. In my 10 years of working with different marketing automation platform, this has always come as one of The choices.

Aside the easy of use, there are plenty of intergrations at hand and I've also worked with fairly complicated setup that the platform can handle with ease.

Last but not least, at the enterprise subscription the customer support is very reponsive and very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Could always wish for even more native integrations, but that has not been a showstopper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The most part of Customer.io is allowing us to create a dedicated workspace for each of our websites. It's very helpful for our company who has a portfolio of websites that are at different levels of maturity. We are able to set up email marketing and CRM by website, which has been very helpful from a legal compliance standpoint. Also, Customer.io has a really nice workflow builder that allows us to build comprehensive journeys in a very efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

The downsides of Customer.io is that is does not have robust segmentation tools. It's hard for us to identify our power users and be able to provide them with better offers from operators. Customer.io also ties in their template creator with campaigns and broadcast newsletters, which makes it a bit more challenging to review templates. It also causes us to have to duplicate newsletters multiple times across campaigns. Customer.io only allows you pull 5 attributes at once in its analysis tool, which makes pulling reports more complicated than it should be. Finally, Customer.io makes it challenging to create new attributes, as you need to set up a trigger campaign for new attributes to be added to a profile. I wish this process was a bit more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The Customer Support has always been really helpful with everything, answering any issue or question about the platform.

I also like the feature of having different workspaces to don't mix business unit data. The new design studio is a feature I also apreciate as It is easy to use and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

I dislike that for the segments creation I find some limitations in the filters included. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
